After what seemed like forever but was just two minutes and some seconds, Corey finally saw a vast space through his Eyes of Omniscience.

His pupils rapidly moved as he observed and analyzed the space they were going to be appearing in, and a second later, he frowned.

He increased the power behind the earth runes, and in a flash, the end of the tunnel was created and even Divine could see the vast space beneath them.

Although his mental capabilities was nowhere close to that of Corey’s, it was still high and he was able to process what he saw before he reached the end of the tunnel.

Corey landed on the ground without making a single sound, and just as Divine was about to fall on him, Corey took a step to the side and Divine landed with a thud and a groan.

"Fuck."

Corey glanced at Divine with an indifferent expression, and when Divine saw his expression, he snarled.

"What is it? I’m injured and I ended up injuring myself once again."

Corey blinked, and with the same indifferent expression he looked away. Divine’s left eye twitched, and he mumbled a curse at Corey underneath his breath. However, Corey made no reaction to Divine’s words.

Instead, his eyes were on his surroundings.

Around them were multiple pools of blood, and in these pools of blood were corpses of humans, non-humans, and beast alike. The ground was also littered with dried up bones and skulls.

The longer Corey observed his surroundings, the more he saw a semblance to a particular place.

The territory of the Terror Queen.

Corey remembered seeing a similar scene in an underground structure of her base. He had pushed his thoughts, speculations, and ideas on the place because it had never caused him a problem and he saw no need for him to take care of it, but now, he was back before the same problem.

’The pools of blood look like they’ve been randomly placed, but from a bird’s eye view, I can see more than that... It’s a formation.’

The glow of Corey’s pure white eyes brightened, and he increased the output of his Eyes of Omniscience.

’There.’

After increasing the output of his Eyes of Omniscience, Corey was able to see that there was a flow of sinister and bloody energy flowing into a certain part of the wall, and the instant Corey focused on the wall, what he saw became much different.

The wall rippled in front of Corey’s gaze, and then it transformed into something else, a wooden door.

’An illusion?’

Corey raised his brows, but the instant he did, a deep frown and coldness flashed in his eyes.

"Hey kid, what the hell is this place?"

"I can also sense the heat signatures of Kiefer and Selene in that part of the wall. But it’s extremely weak and-"

Divine paused because the wall he was gesturing at suddenly transformed into a wooden door which slowly opened.

The instant the wooden door opened, an extremely dense, soul-wrenching stench assaulted Corey and Divine who instantly scrunched up their noses in disgust and used their various means to handle the stench.

A flame appeared around Divine’s nose, meanwhile Corey used his Breath of Omniscience to stop the smell from even touching his clothes. freeweɓnøvel.com

"What the fuck is this smell?! Damn it!"

Divine cursed, and Corey even had the same thoughts despite the dangerous and spine chilling aura he was perceiving from beyond the door.

Step

STEP!

Step

STEP!

Two different footsteps drifted into Corey’s ears, and Corey frowned.

"Focus. I hear two footsteps."

Divine frowned, and he looked at the wooden door with a cold and focused gaze.

Hoowever, in the next four seconds, the expressions of Divine and Corey changed, and Divine stuttered with an expression full of disbelief and immense shock.

"Ho-Ho-How?!"

Divine shouted out loud as he gazed at the figure of a nine-foot giant with a pair of soul-freezing dark blue eyes. The nine-foot giant was covered in a dirty old bronze armor that had an intricate set of runes on it. On the giant’s back was a greatsword with crimson runes on it and a bronze shield.

Beside this nine-foot giant was the familiar and unmistakable figure of Triple X.

"How? How are you still alive?! I fucking have your corpse with me!"

Divine shouted once again with an extremely baffled expression and also enraged expression that made it seem like he was going to have a mental breakdown if he did not get his answers anytime.

The temperature in the underground area became freezing cold and extremely hot at the same time, and Corey quickly grabbed his shoulder.

Divine looked at him with blood in his eyes, and Corey frowned before he shook his head.

"Calm down. You’re still injured. Or do you want to cripple yourself?"

Divine’s eyes showed an internal struggle that constantly switched from confusion, skepticism, denial, and rage.

"I said calm down, Divine."

Corey’s cold voice shook Divine, and Divine blinked with a stable expression and gaze.

He exhaled deeply, "I’m calm."

Corey observed him for a few seconds before nodding. He shifted his gaze and attention back to Triple X who had been watching and observing them with the same bored and nonchalant expression he always had.

Although he had the same expression he always had, his appearance was drastically different from before.

On his head were two curved black horn, and on his body was an armor that was as black as the night less sky. His eyes were completely black and devoid of any light, and he had long sharp claws on his fingers.

Triple X was also taller and because of the increase in his height, he was now as tall as him.

His appearance was not the only thing that had changed. His aura and energy had completely changed.

The aura Triple X was emitting was as strong as that of a Tier 6, and to make matters worse, the nine-foot giant was also emitting the aura of a Tier 6.

"Are you done observing me?"
