Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon-Chapter 661 - 660: Auction (11)
"Alright, the Temple of Flames has won the bid for the right arm of the Blade Monarch. Let us go on to the last and final item."
The moment Calista said thes words, the auction hall became eerily silent. The gazes of everybody was filled with anticipation, excitement, and even awe as they stared at Calista.
The appearance of the body part of a Monarch had already elevated the status of Calista's auctions to the near-peak.
The right arm of the Blade Monarch was the ninth item to be auctioned, and although some found it strange that an item like the body part of a Monarch was not the final item, it only served to increase the curiosity and anticipation in the hearts of the participants.
If the arm of a Monarch was not the final item, what could be the final item?
They were all curious.
Calista said nothing, and then she gestured to her right.
A hologram of a folded piece of paper appeared above her palm, and beside the piece of paper were ten glass vials.
The moment the hologram appeared, a baffled expression appeared on the faces of most people.
Although it was a hologram, they could sense that the piece of paper was completely ordinary and the glass vials contained the aura of mystic force and mystic energy.
The aura was strange to them because it felt completely ordinary and weak. It wasn't what they were expecting for the final item of Calista's auction.
They expected to experience what they experienced with the appearance of the right arm of the Blade Monarch, however, it was completely lackluster.
"I know that the final item seems lackluster and weak, however, there's a reason why it's the last item to be placed up for auction."
"These ten vials contain a narcotic called Neon."
Calista said, and the expressions of everybody changed to one of confusion and surprise.
Of all the things they expected to hear from Calista, a narcotic was the last thing they expected.
Calista knew this but her expression remained the same as she continued her words.
"Just like other narcotics, Neon is able to make one to feel extremely high, and one would forget all about their problems."
"Basically, one can reach higher than the heavens with Neon."
"However, this is obviously not the best part of Neon. It has a wondrous and groundbreaking effect... It can increase any random attribute of an individual and the only side effect is that you'll get high."
Despite her words, the auction hall remained silent as majority failed to understand her words.
No
It wasn't that they didn't understand her words, it was just that it was unimaginable in their minds and they could not comprehend what she was saying.
Calista sighed and was about to explain further but then an individual raised his hand.
"Are you saying that apart from using soul stones and our free attribute points, Neon is able to increase our attributes?"
Calista's eyes flickered for a fraction of a second before it brightened as she gazed at the man who spoke.
The man was handsome and had black hair and completely black eyes that made him to look like a man who was possessed by a prince from the depths of hell.
This man was Anon.

"Yes! That's exactly what I'm saying!"
"With Neon, you can increase your attributes and you'll be able to save up your free attribute points and soul crystals for the future."
The eyes of everybody slowly widened in disbelief as they began to comprehend the words of Calista. The auction hall which was previously silent began to be slowly filled with noise.
BANG!
"IMPOSSIBLE!"
A Chosen of the Mage Association slammed his hands on the armrest of his seat and stood as he shouted.
"There's no way something like that exists! It'll redefine everything about our universe!"
Murmurs and nods of agreements and suspicions flew all around the auction hall, and Calista merely smiled.
She clapped once and the clap echoed much louder than the noise that filled the auction hall. Everybody instantly became quiet.
"I understand your concerns and words, and yes, I do agree with them. Such an item would be heaven defying."
Calista paused for two seconds with a smile, and then she continued.
"That's why the item has a severe limitation."
"The vials of Neon I have with me can only affect Tier 0s, Tier 1s, Tier 2s, Tier 3s, and Tier 4s. It cannot affect the attributes of Tier 5s and the rest."
"However, even though it cannot affect the attributes of Tier 5s and above, I'm sure all of you can imagine the benefits of having Neon in your possession."
"The vials contain an already prepared batch of Neon, and the paper contains the concoction recipe of Neon. However, it only has the concoction recipe on how to concoct Neon that can affect Tier 3s and below."
"The recipe would be sold separately from the vials of Neon, and each vial of Neon would be sold separately and not together."
"The vial also contains Neon that can affect Tier 4s."
Calista was about to speak, but then a participant from the lower seats raised his hand to speak, and Calista was slightly surprised because it was an Underworld resident that requested to speak.
The Underground resident was Prince, the leader of the Devourers.
Calista nodded at Prince, signalling him to speak.
"Does the drug, Neon, increase only one specific attribute based on its concoction method and the materials that are used in the concoction process?"
"Or it increases all the attributes at the same time?"
Calista's brows rose with slight surprise because she was not expecting this question from Prince of all people.
From her reports, she knew that Prince already knew about Neon and desired to make her business partner's master to concoct Neon.
She was certain that Prince should have known the answer to this question, and she could not understand why he was still asking.
Although she was slightly baffled and curious, she didn't care and responded to his question. She had a lot of money to make.
"Neon randomly increases a single attribute, and the increase depends on the grade of Neon and the attributes of the individual."
"Also, you'll have to wait for twelve hours before you're able to obtain another attribute increase."
"And in case some of you haven't realized it yet, Neon can also be used as a trump card in battle. Imagine losing a battle, and then you take a puff of Neon and gain an increase in your attributes which would then give you an advantage in battle or increase your chances of survival in battle."
"I know that it sounds sketchy and shady to some of you, but all of you should know by now that everything I sell in my auctions are always rare and always jaw dropping."
"So, without further ado, let the auction for Neon begin."
