Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon-Chapter 657 - 656: Auction (7)
After Calista announced the sale of the Codex, the Auction Hall was at first silent, but then it became filled with noise as everybody started whispering and murmuring about what occurred.
Countless conversations flew in the auction hall, and if not for Calista who called for order and silence, Anon doubted if everybody would have kept quiet anytime soon.
Calista announced that the auction would continue as usual, and everybody became excited and anxious for the remaining items that were to be auctioned.
The Codex was the fourth item to be auctioned, and although they all knew that auctions held by Calista were not like other auctions that would auction the lower quality items before the high quality items, they were extremely excited and curious as to what other item was going to be auctioned by Calista.
In the entire Universe, several elite organizations were already aware that of all the high end auctions that usually takes place in the Universe and in the Underworld especially, auctions that were held by Calista usually had extremely rare items.
However, this particular auction had to be one of the best auctions to have ever been held by Calista, if not the best auction to have ever been held by Calista.

Even Calista who was the organiser of the auction was also excited. She was just on her fourth item and she had already earned way more than she expected to earn in the entire auction.
After the sale of the Codex, Calista introduced the next item which was an armor.
It was not just any armor, it was a soul-bound armor and a growth item like Corey's Devourer's Armor.
Anon was extremely surprised when he saw the armor and heard the description of the armor.
The armor was a semi-living armor that adapted to the user's soul and power. With every evolution the owner went through, the armor would also go through the same evolution.
The armor was also crafted from the scales of a True Dragon of the Fire Element.
The Soul-Bound Armor was similar to Corey's Devourer's Armor, however, there were some differences between the two armors.
The first is that the Devourer's Armor grew stronger by devouring other armors unlike the Soul-Bound Armor which only grew stronger after the owner underwent an evolution.
The second is that the Soul-Bound Armor was crafted from the scales of a True Dragon but the Devourer's Armor was a system reward for killing the Demi-Cosmic Devourer as a Tier 0.
The Soul-Bound Armor was won by the Martial Clan after a tense and furious bidding war. However, unlike the Codex, the Soul-Bound Armor was sold for a single Immortal Shard.
Although growth items especially armors were extremely rare, every organization that was in the Underworld was an elite organization and they had their fair share of growth items.
A normal growth armor would have been sold for around 500 million Mystic Crystals, however, what made the Soul-Bound Armor special was that it was crafted from the scales of a True Dragon.
Dragons were rare and powerful species, but True Dragons were legends and myths to some of these organizations.
Just the fact that the Soul-Bound Armor was created from the scales of a True Dragon made the armor worth more that it was meant to be.
After the Soul-Bound Armor, the next item that was auctioned was the core of a Tier 7 beast.
The Tier 7 core was not appealing to so many people because their organizations had it, however, for those seating in the lower seats of the Auction Hall, they placed their bids on the core.
Most of them were Tier 5s and getting the core of a Tier 7 even from their organizations was extremely difficult for them.
Anon was interested in the core because it was that of a Tier 7, and if he could study it, he was absolutely sure that it would help him.
Of all the items that had been auctioned, the Tier 7 Core was what he desired the most.
To the shock of everybody, the group that won the bidding war for the Tier 7 core was an unknown family amongst the Ancient Families of Earth.
They purchased the core for 2 Immortal Shards.
It was extremely surprising to Anon and the others because those that belonged to the Ancient Families had always been low-key.
There was nothing on them and nobody cared about the Elders and the Chosens of the Ancient Families because the most powerful amongst them was a Tier 5.
Even in the Shattered Dimension and in the tournament of the Battle of Chosens, the Chosens of the Ancient Families were not remarkable at all.
However, if the Ancient Families were unremarkable, how could they have 2 Immortal Shards?
An Immortal Shard was not stone or water that could be found anywhere.
Spending 2 Immortal Shards made the rest of the elite organizations to be curious about the Ancient Families.
Even Anon was curious about them.
The seventh item to be auctioned was a drop of blood.
The drop of blood was from a Tier 5 beast, but the moment Calista introduced the blood, another extreme bidding war began.
The seventh item was called Bloodriver's Tear.
Bloodriver's Tear was a drop of blood essence that was extracted from an extremely rare creature called Bloodriver that had the power to heal other living beings and also steal the life force of living creatures.
It had the power of life and death.
Although it was just a Tier 5, the Bloodriver's Tear could be used to heal even the wounds of an Tier 6s, enhance one's constitution and vitality greatly, and one can also learn one of the skills of the Bloodriver if they have the ability to.
The introduction of the Bloodriver Tear caused so many people to bid for it.
However, at the end of the day, it was the Aurora Holy Land that won the auction for the Bloodriver's Tear.
They purchased the Bloodriver's Tear for 5 Immortal Shards. Despite the desire of other organizations for the Bloodriver's Tears, they did not dare to threaten or enter the bidding war against the Aurora Holy Land.
