Reincarnation Of The Strongest Spirit Master-Chapter 1291: A Useless Race For Loot
Fear was contagious, and losing hope spread faster than fire in a haystack. William could only smile when looking at the result of this battle.
"This is going to be the end of these enemies…"
As the enemies were already one step away from their graves, William didn't stop for a single moment. After hitting the den multiple times with his new technique, he dashed towards the new battlefield, and started his killing spree.
"Don't forget to grab the rings," after seeing how the enemies behaved, he didn't forget to give orders using spirit telepathy to his friends to send part of his guild masters over.
And just like this, the old legend Fox guild habit of collecting rings as loot from the fallen enemies arose again in this war!
The entire battlefield was now under William's control. He knew there was not much room for the enemies to threaten him or his forces. So he decided to focus on the aftermath of this war, and the gains he could get.
The sheer number of enemies was closing on a hundred thousand masters, all came from the higher world. Even if most were just weak masters compared to Lingerie and her guards, they were still masters coming from the outer world.
William couldn't control his greed once he imagined the immense loot he'd gain from these rings. His friends were now killing the high end masters, and he was the only person fighting in the depths of this area.
He let his friends collect the rings of the supreme masters, while he took his time to collect the loot he missed before. Getting the rings from these strong and rich masters wasn't enough for him. So he made sure his guild masters would start collecting the scattered loot as well.
This movie didn't escape the high masters' attention like Fang and Sloth. And yet their hands were already tied with Lingerie. They knew the moment William's guild masters started to do this then they got little chance in claiming such loot.
Realising the same as William, these masters felt how bad it was to get out from the war with little up to none loot. So they asked their affiliated masters to start doing the same, collecting as much as possible from these rings.
Lingerie was indeed the big boss of this war, but she exhausted tons of her rare treasures on fighting back till the bitter end. Fang, Sloth, and others knew they'd get out of this fight with little gain. Thinking about this in such a way made them all doubt this was all William's intention from the start!
What the other masters did was related to William once his guild masters noticed it. "I knew I can't wait till the end of the war… However…" William evilly smirked as he knew he'd gain more than those greedy masters.

His masters already strengthened themselves in the key spots in the entire battlefield. These were the places that witnessed the most brutal battles from the start, and it meant his masters would find tons of loot compared to others.
William also ordered his friends to reorganise the guild masters, to move in groups, and start scavenging the entire battlefield and collect as much loot as possible.
Once he was done with this, he started to attack again. The enemies were getting pushed back by other masters, and they lost all hope for any sort of victory.
William alternated between attacking, collecting some loot from the most powerful masters he killed, and then returned back to the den to stop it from gushing out more Chimeras.
Everything looked under his control. From time to time, he'd receive news about how the other powerhouse masters annoyed his guild masters in collecting the loot, which he never cared about any of that.
To William, the war reached such a stage where they were now fighting over the gains. He could only sigh while remembering the fact that most missed; this war wasn't over yet!
Just an hour later, what he was thinking about happened. The portal suddenly lit, and the world rumbled. He knew the portal was going to function soon, and yet he didn't change his plans.
After all, the greatest risk in the entire battlefield was in the Chimera den. As for Lingerie, she was just half a breath away from death doors!
The moment the portal moved, a large number of masters appeared from the higher realm. They weren't in thousands, but around twenty thousand fresh masters!
Seeing this made William smile. "Don't stop collecting the loot," he sent this instruction to his friends, before turning to Fang and Sloth and said to them using spirit telepathy:
"Are you going to let this half dead lady alive for any longer? We need more hands here!"
"Shut up! You were the one who gave this troublemaker over to us in the first place!" Sloth was way enraged than Fang over what William said. And the latter just laughed, and said nothing back.
The incoming enemies were going to pose a challenge to the high-end masters on his side. They lost many masters at the hands of Lingerie, and the remaining ones didn't look that great either. They needed time to rest and recuperate, but the incoming enemies made it quite impossible to do so.
William knew if they focused more on the fight and didn't get greedy over the loot, the situation would have been different. But they wanted to challenge him over the loot, ending up getting distracted and even gaining more wounds.
As he foresaw this, Fang and Sloth led a large number of the remaining masters to face the incoming enemies. They left behind few, enough to kill Lingerie. At the same time, they gave the order to lots of their masters scattered across the huge battlefield to make it to them and aid in stopping the incoming enemies.
It was clear that if they let the reinforcements reach their allies, then the war would deteriorate a few steps back.
