Emy ran into the kitchen where she found her father, mother, and her three little siblings all eating pasta already, her mother quickly served her a plate after welcoming her back.

"Welcome back dear, did you deliver everything correctly?"

"Ah, yeah, yeah!"

She sat down and quickly glanced at the TV while her siblings were already finishing their meal, the small TV in the corner of the kitchen was all they had.

"Look! The Dream Warriors are showing up!"

Emy glanced with interest at the scene, a group of people wearing armored clothes and weapons showed up, stepping out of large bans, or jumping from nearby buildings.

The Nightmare Gate that opened was pouring black-colored creatures composed of some sort of weird sludge, beginning to crawl around while roaring.

"Uaagh! Someone! Please help me!"

A woman screamed in horror as one of her legs was caught by one of these creatures' slimy tentacles, being dragged towards its gaping maws, full of sharp teeth.

"Stop right there!"

However, a young man descended from the skies, swinging a blazing sword and cutting the tentacle, while also unleashing a slicing wave of fire, bursting the nightmare monster into smithereens.

BOOOM!

As he did, he gallantly grabbed the woman, freeing her from the slime around her legs by burning it, but without even harming her in the process.

"Please hurry and run away! It is too dangerous here!"

"T-Thank you!"

The Dream Warrior nodded, his red hair waving by the wind as he braved the Nightmare Monster with his team. As they fought, Emy noticed her whole family glued to the TV.

"They're awesome!"

"Yeah!"

"I want to be a Dream Warrior when I grow up!"

His three little brothers were all over them, and didn't want anything else than to become Dream Warriors themselves.

"Well, you first have to have the aptitude for it, not everyone awakens that power you know kids?" Emy's father said, after drinking some wine.

"Uh, yeah, it's not for everyone, I believe it's cool to see them, but I honestly wouldn't want to join them," said Emy. "Looks scary for a job… I would rather just pursue another career, like… Hmm, being a musician! A singer or something, right dad?"

"Hmmm but being musician or singer doesn't pay the bills girl," her dad sighed. "I wish one of you could at least become a Dream Warrior, I've heard they get paid a lot."

"It would definitely help us out a bit…" nodded Emy's mother. "Our bills are accumulating again… We can't even save money for a house. We've been living in this rented space this whole time."

Indeed, Emy's whole family only lived in this restaurant. There were only two other rooms, which also were the storage rooms, so they always slept pretty cramped.

For example, they could only have dinner in the kitchen in front of other clients, although most people didn't even mind it, although they didn't sell pizza while having breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

"But mom, if I make it big then we could get rich too!" Emy said. "Also I could probably get popular, I mean, in these times with the Nightmares everywhere, a lot of people have died all over the world… Music could help them make feel better, united?"

"Hm… I don't know why you like music so much, dear," sighed her mother.

"Must have been my sister that got her stuck with that, we shouldn't have let her take care of Emy when she was younger…" her father lamented.

"Auntie was cool! She loved music and her songs were amazing, and inspirational…!" said Emy.

"And she lived off our mother's inheritance too," her father said grumpily. "If it wasn't because she ended taking everything and wasting it on her fake music career, we would be much better now…"

"T-That's…" Emy muttered, falling silent. "Auntie… she wasn't that bad…"

"She wasn't? She never made it big to begin with, her songs sucked," her father sighed, groaning angrily and grumpily. "Emy, you've gotta find a real job, alright? You can play with your guitar all you want on your free time but please focus on earning a good wage."

"…" Emy sighed, looking down. "I'm barely twelve…"

"Yeah and? You're already working, in this world everyone has to work, work, work, work! You're not getting anywhere without working your ass off! And even then, what do we even get? Barely anything to keep on living, but we have to keep doing it and work harder every day, even harder than the previous day! That's life, that's what being an adult is, Emy you're going to be an adult in a couple of years, so you better get this straight inside your head, alright? I don't want any lazy jobless daughter in the future!" her father kept screaming.

"Okay I already heard you the first time!" said Emy angrily. "I'm working my ass off already and I'm not even fifteen! I've barely had any damn childhood to begin with… You talk so bad about auntie, when she was a much better person than you! She wasn't telling me to make money, she just always said I had to be fun because I was a kid!"

"E-Emy?!" her mother gasped. "Don't raise your tone of voice against your father!"

"Emy you know I was saying that because I love you and I just want the best for your future!" her father said angrily.

"If you loved me you wouldn't be screaming at me to begin with! I mean, I shouldn't even be working right now! Isn't that illegal?! I should be playing with friends or with my guitar! Not delivering your pizza! Why don't you pay someone else to do that?! You're just stingy!" Emy said angrily.

"Because you're part of the family and the family helps each other!" her father groaned, hitting the table angrily. "Where are you going?!"

"I'm going to play my guitar! Bye!" Emy walked upstairs, running away from her family, and closing the door of her room (and her siblings' room).

She jumped over the bed, and grabbed her guitar, closing her eyes while hugging.

It still had the smell of her aunt's perfume, making her shed a few tears.

"Auntie… I miss you…"
