The next morning.

’Inviting that little koala to sleep with me last night was a mistake. I completely forgot about my important meeting this morning!’ Alex sighed deeply, silently.

All night, he struggles to sleep while Aurora tests his patience. She sleeps soundly like a baby koala, clinging to him as if he were a cushioned branch, utterly unaware of his struggles.

She hurried out of bed and headed for the door.

Just then, the bathroom door swung open before she could reach it.

’Damn it! Why is he showing up now?’ Aurora curses under her breath.

She halts and faces him when Alex calls her.

"Did I disturb your sleep?" Alex asked anxiously. He had already been careful not to make any noise, ensuring she wouldn’t wake up.

Aurora swallowed quietly, her eyes tracing the outline of his alluring, firm chest and perfect abs, causing her cheeks to flush.

"No, I need to go to the bathroom..." she replied, gazing at his eyes.

"I’m sorry you have to wait too long. You can use it now..." Alex smiled gently before heading to the walk-in closet.

Alex chose not to make her anxious, especially after noticing how flushed her cheeks had become.

Aurora silently let out a deep sigh as she walked to the bathroom. Relieved, Alex didn’t ask her anything about the kiss. If he asked her later, she would say she was unaware.

Meanwhile, in front of Aurora’s room, Tina looked tense as she stared at the tightly closed door.

She knocked multiple times, but no one answered inside, worrying her.

The image of when she found Aurora sleeping in the bathtub flashed through her mind.

’God! What if my young madam sleeps again in the bathroom?’

"Young Madam, please respond. It’s me, Tina. May I enter?" She called again, but there was still no response, only silence.

She pressed her ear to the door, hoping to hear movement, but no sound could be heard.

"Tina, what happened?" Martin’s voice snapped Tina out of her anxiety.

"Oh, Martin, you’ve finally come." Tina was relieved to see Martin. "Young Madam, she is not awake. This has never happened before. Usually, if I come at seven, she is awake, but when I knock, she doesn’t respond."

Martin slightly frowned; he asked, "Have you checked on the gym?"

"I do. The gym is empty. I also asked someone to check the back garden, but no one saw her there."

"Let’s just open the door?" Martin suggested.

Tina opened the door and was surprised to find the room empty.

"Is she going out without us noticing?" Martin asked, snapping Tina out of her thoughts.

Tina remains silent but rushes outside. "Let’s report to Master Alex." She walks to Alex’s bedroom.

After knocking twice, the door swung open, revealing Alex standing there.

"Master Alex, I’m sorry to interrupt your morning," Tina apologized, silently swallowing her worry that Alex might scold them.

Alex frowned as he looked at them. Noticing their distressed expressions, he guessed that something was troubling them. "What is it?" he asked.

"Master, young madam, she...." Tina’s voice trailed off as she noticed Aurora behind Alex.

"Aunty Tina?" Aurora asked, surprised to see her look tense and stressed.

"Y-Young madam, you sleep here?"

Alex chuckled to himself upon hearing Tina’s question. He gently placed his hand on Aurora’s shoulder and drew her closer.

"Why are you surprised to find my wife sleeping with me?"

Tina beamed as she looked at Alex. She flashed a joyful smile at him and Aurora before quickly apologizing and steering Martin to the left on the second floor.
