Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster-Chapter 73: Minor Disturbance, and Heading Toward the First Monument
A/N: Late upload since I was making a map. This is a rough map as I've never made one before, but just think of this as what Rael sees:

So when Roger said one of the rules was to not look at the sky... he wasn't bullshitting. Rael let out a sigh. Good to know...
He instantly opened the premium shop since he didn't really want to die from going crazy.

Surprisingly, Special Milk could do the same thing that the Weak Hollow Touch Cure could do.
However, in good conscience, he wouldn't want to drink the so-called special milk.
That was why he bought the third option, and a black vial soon materialized in his hand.
It was much smaller than the other potions he'd drunk, but nonetheless, he gulped it down in one sip.
However, the bitter taste made him think drinking the special milk might've been better.
Fucking sewage water... Rael grumbled, glancing to the side as a few system pop-ups appeared.
<Status Ailment: Hollow Touch (Level 1) has been removed!>
<+25 Intelligence>
<+25 Constitution>
"Oh?" Rael tilted his head. So many stats for a status effect that was active for less than a minute...?
He wasn't a masochist, really.
But sometimes...
<You've been infected!>
<Status Ailment: Hollow Touch (Level 1)>
<The user will suffer persistent hallucinations!>
<Every 96 hours, the level of this ailment increases by 1>

The moon was just too bright.
Whoops... Rael chuckled, as he took a glance at the map.
The first monument was to the right of the Mirefall Encampment, and from the looks of things, he could get to it pretty quickly.
There was one more above the encampment, but it was at least twice as far away, and while he would prefer to get everything done in one night, he wanted some shut-eye too.
Alright, let's see... Rael glanced below him.
On one side was the encampment, and on the other, a massive drop toward water.
Since he wasn't suicidal, Rael jumped back down into the encampment and made his way over to the bridge contraption.
It's a bit loud from what I heard... So how can I get out without arousing suspicion? he pondered, when all of a sudden, he heard knocking as well as a distant voice.
—I'm done, I came back from the graveyard! Can someone open the gates for me?
Elaric? Rael thought, before shaking his head. Not him, voice is too high-pitched.
But just as he was about to dismiss it, Rael had an idea.
He was just an innocent and naive pay-to-win boss...
How was he supposed to know the one he was letting in was actually a monster?
Rael whistled as he headed over to the lever and swiftly flicked it.
Immediately, the bridge dropped down, loudly landing and likely waking everyone up.
Or so he expected, but even after several seconds passed, no one stepped out.
Did he turn their brain to mush? Damn, sucks to be them, Rael thought before walking onto the bridge and heading toward the exit.
On the other side, he could see a figure, which obviously wasn't Elaric.
It was a slightly larger monster than the one he saw before.
And from the level alone, it showed.
—Hunting Horror [Level 130] [617,300/617,300 HP]
A Hunter? Okay, this might be interesting. Rael grinned and pulled his Violin Blade out, before focusing.
The monster tilted its head, then in the very next instant, it appeared right in front of Rael, momentarily startling him.
It swung down its black claw at him, however, Rael didn't panic, as he sidestepped and thrust his rapier right into its heart.
-63,358! (1x Crystal Violin Blade)
No critical hit? Rael furrowed his brows, when all of a sudden, the black, gooey substance traveled up the rapier and shot toward his neck.
Fuck no. Rael immediately cast his defensive skill.
[MP -210,000 1,754,600/1,964,600 (1x Prismatic Bastion)]
[HP -0 (29,244 Absorbed) 664,000/664,000]
-216,459! Critical Hit! (1x Prismatic Bastion)
In an instant, the monster's entire abdomen caved in.
Rael took this opportunity to take a step back, and immediately, he thwacked his rapier against the red string.
There was no time to think, so he simply imagined the monster burning, and soon, a beautiful-sounding fiery red wave emerged.
Like a professional, Rael guided the wave toward the fallen monster's balls, before splitting them—and the monster—perfectly in two.
-337,483! Instant Kill! (1x Crystal Violin Blade)
Rael let out a sigh as he put his weapons away and glanced at the pop-ups.
<—Hunting Horror [Level 130] Killed! Experience: +17,206>
<+8,603 Trell Acquired>
<Resonant Duelist: +500 Experience>
A perfect note, nice, Rael hummed, before turning around and meeting Thalor's red eyes.
"You opened the gate without permission," Thalor said sternly.
"I thought it was Elaric, my bad," Rael shrugged. "But I've been a bit worried for them, so I'll go look for them."
"Don't bother, they're both long dead," Thalor replied with a sigh as his brows furrowed. "The graveyards are places someone so weak can't come back from. I didn't stop Elaric since he was sleeping with one of my girls, so it was a long time coming."
Deserved. Rael nodded. "I'm going to check anyways... unless you want to stop me?"
"Feel free to do as you wish," Thalor said, turning around. "I've been here long enough to see many arrogant people die, and here I thought you were an exception. Begone. If you survive, then I'll personally make you breakfast when you're back."
"I'll be expecting a ham sandwich then." Rael chuckled and began jogging out of the encampment.
Not long after, the gate closed, leaving him stranded on the outside—by choice, of course.
Nonetheless, Rael picked up his pace as he ran east.
However, not even a minute in, Rael suddenly froze, a small grin forming on his face.
