<The Shard of the Stars grants you an opportunity!>

<Primordial Mark (Divine) is reacting to the Shard of the Stars!>

<Special Blessing granted!>

<Skill: Primordial Sight (Mythic) has been unlocked!>

<Skill: Primordial Sight (Mythic) has absorbed the skill: Archon Aura (Legendary)>

What the... Rael looked on in wonder.

Whatever the players were supposed to get was definitely some shitty item.

Yet here he was, getting a Mythic-ranked skill by none other than the same being who had put a mark on him not too long ago.

Of course, his excitement only grew as he checked out the skill.

Primordial Sight: [Level 1 | 0/100] (Mythic+)

—An ancient ocular ability awakened from the core of creation itself. Grants vision beyond matter, and illusion.

1. Clearsight: See through all illusions, concealment, and shapeshifting.

2. Mental Decay: Enemies who meet your eyes feel the pressure of a primordial (Weakened).

3. Empower: All allies in a 100-meter radius have all their damage increased by 35%.

4. Primordial Efficiency: All constructs gain +30% increased stats; increases HP and MP by 100%.

5. Foresight: See 1 second into the future. Toggle ON/OFF

<Note: Due to your level being incredibly low, the options of this skill have been greatly reduced!>

<Note 2: It is recommended you don't skip your main quest: Find the Beast (Level ???).>

Fine, fine... Rael grumbled as he glanced to the side.

The moment he did, he almost felt like he was falling.

After all, seeing one second into the future seemed cool and all, but that was definitely not something he could get used to right after getting the skill.

Despite the limitations, the skill was definitely overpowered.

Though I wonder where I put Chop-E... I kind of forgot him on the battlefield.

But since his status screen still displayed that Chop-E was alive, it was fine.

A smile appeared on his face before he toggled off the Foresight option.

Now, he could see properly.

But he definitely didn't expect the commotion to quiet down so much.

Everyone was staring at him, eyes wide.

Soon, Linlin arrived, and as she saw him, she flinched before approaching closer.

"You should tone down the pressure," she whispered, making him look away from the crowd of people.

I thought only enemies were affected? Bullshit skill as always, but at least it's good, Rael pondered, as he decided to take his leave.

No one stopped him, so he merely passed by them.

However, just as he was about to return to his room, he heard a loud crack from behind him.

The moment he turned around, he saw the massive red shard shatter into a dozen pieces, before scattering into the air like dust.

Uhh—

<Special Event: Starfall - Concluded!>

<Contribution Leaderboard>

1. Rael Sutekh: 10 Starfall Cores

<Achievement: [Starfall (Level 5–100)] is being given to the organization: Radiant Dawn>

<Main Contributor: Rael Sutekh>

"...I don't even know what to tell you at this point..." Linlin muttered.

There were still a few hours left before he would get kicked out, so he merely shrugged.

"It's just a coincidence, I guess," Rael said, and before the servants could give him a hard time, he began running back to his room.

Linlin followed close by, and in the corner of his vision, he could see the Radiant Dawn chatroom flashing, so he decided to open it.

<RD-Qiqi Xu: Boop>

<RD-Mira Virel: Why isn't he an actual member again? He's gotten two good achievements for us within the span of 24 hours!>

<RD-Dax Wick: Mira, if just any bastard can join, then what's the point of this group in the first place?>

<RD-Torren Lockhart: Dax is right. Rael Sutekh is a great asset, however, I don't think his motives align with our goals.>

<RD-Sophia Ash: Boop>

<RD-Dax Wick: Stop fucking booping!>

Rael let out a sigh, as the chatroom was pretty much the same as always.

Goals-wise, it seemed like the others knew about the actual purpose of the organization, and whatever it was made them not want to invite him.

Can't say I really care that much. Synthex is going to be much bigger than them, Rael thought absentmindedly, as he arrived at his room.

It seemed like someone had already patched up his roof, so he swiftly changed into a pair of servant clothes and went outside again.

"Where are you going?" Linlin asked. "Don't you have some kingly duties to attend to?"

"Like what? I'll probably get summoned later either way, so for now, I'm going to go train," he replied with a shrug. "Anyways, are you coming or what?"

"Yep..." Linlin nodded with a sigh.

With that, Rael retraced his steps to the training grounds where he first met the old man.

To his surprise, the old man was there, as the beautiful violin resounded from far away.

Rael approached with a wave.

Oh right... He's blind, Rael face-palmed.

"Yo, old man. I'm back."

"Hm? You're a bit early, but I like that spirit..." the old man trailed off. "You brought a friend? Are they going to train too?"

Rael turned to Linlin. "Are you?"

She shook her head. "Nope. The only thing I want right now is some peace."

"Suit yourself, slacker." The old man snickered and turned toward Rael. "Anyways kid, are you ready to train?"

"Yep," Rael replied with a nod.

But just as the old man was about to hand over his weapon, Rael pulled out his own.

The moment he did, the old man froze, and almost as if he had eyes, he looked down at the Violin Blade.

"How did you get this?"

"I'm a bit of a crafter sometimes, so I just copied yours," Rael replied flatly, not trying to hide it.

"Can I check it out?" the old man asked, and Rael nodded before handing the Violin Blade over.

"Hmm... this really is a replica. A poor one, but it's a replica of my replica..." the old man remarked in wonder and gave back the Violin Blade.

"You may use it. Once you get proficient enough, I will give you mine so you can practice the other strings," the old man stated.

"Alright, I'll start." Rael got into his usual stance, before blasting a few notes into the target dummies with perfect precision.

<Resonant Duelist: +300 Experience>

Rael looked toward the old man confidently, yet he was met with the same stern look as always.

"Again."
