Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster-Chapter 201: Quick Chat, And Heading To Aztera
Chapter 201: Quick Chat, And Heading To Aztera
The following day.
“I think those clothes are too tight for you.”
“Did you just call me fat?”
“Hm? No—”

<You’ve been killed!>
“AAAH!” Rael shot awake, bonking his head against a tree branch.
He looked at his hands, then let out an exhausted sigh.
Stupid fucking dream. Rael scoffed, jumped off the tree branch, and landed on soft, grassy soil.
He was not too far away from Elarin at the moment, since he had a few people he needed to meet.
The Evangelists… I’m starting to think this might not be a very great idea, Rael thought. But just giving them a tip should be enough.
If he told them where the legendary barbarian axe was, and they actually retrieved it, then he’d win the war without ever lifting a finger.
And…
If things go south, I can always just steal it away from them. Rael tapped the air, opening the premium shop.

It’s pretty cheap, and I’ll definitely buy it after the Evangelists cause a ruckus, Rael thought.
But definitely not now. After all, if he suddenly stole all the electricity in Aztera, he’d be the number one target.
Their army numbered several hundred thousand, and every single one of them was experienced. Rael could deal with most of them. However, there was a limit to how many people his Neuroweb could thread.
3,000 is the limit. Then it’s a couple minutes of cooldown. Any more than that, and it feels like my head’s going to explode. Plus, the cooldown jumps to over an hour, Rael thought, and bought a random ugly facemask from the premium shop.
Even the Violin Blade… I’d be able to kill a lot of them, but the durability would go down, and then I’d have to repair it over and over again, Rael thought with a sigh. Each time, the cost increases too.
As for his other skills?
They were too expensive to cast. I could invest in a new overpowered Area Of Effect skill, but that won’t be necessary.
Nonetheless, Rael put on his face mask, then a hood, and with that, he entered Elarin.
He headed toward an inn, which was in a dark alley near the city entrance, and without knocking, he entered through the doors.
Immediately, the foul stench of blood greeted his nose, causing his brows to scrunch up in disgust.
There were corpses scattered all across the floor. Yet behind the counter was a lone bartender with long white hair and crimson eyes.
He looked nearly identical to Rael, with the only differences being his build and, of course…
“So you’re the Evangelist I was supposed to meet?” Rael asked and sat down in front of the bartender. “You don’t look very smart. The only thing you did was spoil my appetite.”
The bartender stared at Rael for a few moments before letting out a laugh.
“Pfftt… you got me.” The bartender raised his hands in the air. “My name’s William. It’s a pleasure to meet you…?”
“Zen Davian Frederick Johan the Third,” Rael replied. “Just call me Zen.”
William raised a brow. “There shouldn’t be any secrets between friends, don’t you think?”
Rael sighed. “Just shut up and listen to what I have to say.”
The moment Rael finished his words, William let go of the glass he was cleaning, causing it to shatter on the ground.
William pulled up a seat and sat across from Rael.
“Speak,” William said in a cold tone, his previous playful demeanor long gone. “A bird mentioned you’ve got the location of a relic?”
“Mhm.” Rael nodded. “It’s in Aztera. I want you to steal it.”
William tilted his head. “That was pretty easy. I thought you’d want to negotiate?”
“Negotiate what? Whatever you can offer is something I can get with a snap of my fingers,” Rael replied with a scoff and continued. “The barbarian axe is hidden in the main pyramid of Aztera, right beside the capital, Veltharin.”
“And how exactly can I trust you, Zen?” William asked, picking up one of the wine-filled glasses from the table and taking a sip. “The last thing I’d want is the ruler of Aztera sniffing after us.”
Rael took a deep breath and stood up.
“Do whatever you want with the information I gave you. I don’t exactly care,” Rael added, narrowing his eyes. “I’d just like to clarify that I think you are a piece of shit, just like Veyl’aruun.”
What better way to build a good relationship than to insult their god?
Rael approached the door, fully ready to leave. However…
“You know…” William muttered. “It’s a bit convenient how Celestara and Aztera are at war. And here you are, offering information that would tip the scales in Celestara’s favor.”
William rose from his chair and walked over to Rael, a wide grin on his face.
“You know… Ash. I have a feeling you’re closely related to Celestara. Maybe, just maybe, you’re even the—KUGH!”
Rael grasped William by the neck and lifted him off the ground.
“Yeah…” Rael rolled his eyes. “I hate the fact that you ask so many questions. But oh well…”
He tightened his grip, watching as William began to squirm in his grasp.
But Rael didn’t stop. He just kept tightening his grip, and then…
—Crack
William’s neck snapped.
Rael let go, causing the filthy Evangelist’s corpse to fall to the ground.
Then, Rael took out his Violin Blade and infused it with the Fire element before sending it right at William’s corpse, cremating it in an instant.
Rael dusted himself off, stepped out of the inn, and followed the main road out of Elarin.
And the moment he did, he sent one text to Zareth.
A few moments later, Rael got a reply, and it was as plain as he expected.
<Zareth’Null: Understood.>
He let out a chuckle, threw his face mask into the inventory, and opened the premium shop.

I guess it’s about time I lived up to my words.
