Chapter 293: Doomsday

"The party begins."

Dora raised his right hand to the sky, lightning tore through the purple clouds, illuminating the earth above as the pentagram unleashed a beast from another world.

A gigantic monster, with 16 tentacles that ended in a dragon’s head, converging into a main body that towered over buildings and mountains, ending in a titanic humanoid body with dozens of fins in its head.

Visible from anywhere in Ultima, the beast was easily recognized by Giudecca and Lucca.

"...S-Scylla?!"

There was no doubt, right in Fenrir’s capital, one of the Players had been summoned.

The titan let out a phenomenal roar, shattering all the glasses in the capital.

Marie fell to the ground but was caught by Sigma coming out of her shadow.

With the assimilation initiated, the girl’s veins glowed yellow, her eyes the same color, but like Solaria, the transformation did not occur.

"Hm, is this normal? She looks like she’s dying."

Dora waved his hands disinterestedly.

"Don’t worry about that, she’s compatible, she just needs a catalyst. If things go south, I’ll just turn one of you..."

- Sanctification

All the Personas froze and turned in the same direction, witnessing the bursting of the most terrifying monster in the world.

A burst of aura, stronger than Scylla’s energy, erupted from further away.

"Looks like it won’t necessarily be in Ambrosia."

Near the port, Rhea began her walk, the atmosphere turning purple at her path.

Dora smiled and raised his hand once more, but this time his yellow irises glowed green.

"Don’t rush, I will take care of you once we settle all our debts. Now watch what happens when 2 sanctifications are used at 100%."

Dora’s aura melting yellow, green, and black swirled around him, his eyes glowed with both colors, and then, in a fleeting moment, at the exact moment Dora used 2 sins simultaneously, the world froze.

A flash engulfed the earth and the sky of every part of the world, of every continent. All living beings witnessed this event and looked around in unison, unaware of the horror that was brewing, a horror very visible on Fenrir.

Dora’s pressure blended into the world, his senses touching every conceivable part as if he was present everywhere, or rather as if he was everything at once.

Grass, water, flesh, rock, air, his greed grieved for everything, and his envy granted him the knowledge he asked for, but his demands were infinite.

In an instant, his mind traveled the world and gave him infinite knowledge, about the world, about its past, about the present, and about himself.

It was like another rebirth, giving him the knowledge of the infinity of his body.

Every creature possesses some kind of power, and with infinite creatures, it was certain to find a match or compatibility, like fire and air, but when this truth was applied to 2 devastating powers, the result was terrifying.

"...I can feel it...It’s here...I know it exists..."

Through the power of greed used to know the world and himself, Dora understood what kind of monsters were in his shadow, how to use them, what their abilities were, and with the power of envy he could make them real.

"Children of naught and infinite, come out."

He spread both arms, the cloudy sky crossed with pink lightning seemed to roar against the world, and just like this comparison, numerous roars filled the world.

All over the world, on every continent, the land was glowing, the ocean was shining, the sky was sparkling, and then giant creatures entered the world, their eyes glowing brilliant green.

With the onset of the terror they had instilled in everyone, the Players resurfaced.

Fafnir, Cerberus, all the Players Dora had assimilated, but the horror did not stop there.

"What is this?"

Mercy stopped watching Solaria for the first time and joined the Holy Knights outside.

With eyes and mouths wide open, they watched the giant coils of a colossal serpent on the horizon, with a size that defied reason and an aura that many had forgotten, but with a familiar taste for Agharita.

"...What the... how?... Mi... Midgard?!"

In the ground, in the sky, and in the water, Players circled the world, but their size had increased tenfold, they were once giants to cities, and now they were titans to countries.

"The Players, the original beasts, let the Titans unite their minds in one destructive work."

Dora’s eyes glowed yellow and each of the Titans has unleashed their wrath on the world.

"Forgive me, Eva, but I can’t wait Ambrosia."

Rhea drew her sword and, with a single jump, covered miles in an instant.

Dora noticed her power getting closer, but showed no signs of panic.

"You’re as fast as expected, don’t worry, I won’t let you get bored."

He raised his left hand and his eyes shone.

In Ambrosia, Candace had already been stuck with everyone on top of her except Gloria, with too few times to explain the situation.

Freya couldn’t let go of her, crying profusely, ignoring the power shifts around them.

"Wait, listen... Listen, damn it! Stupid kids! Now’s not the time!"

"It has to be time!" Freya shouted, "Why did you leave us alone? Do you know what kind of hell I went through without you?! I lost too many people, too many friends... I thought I had lost you too..."

Her tears fell on Candace’s face, the dean was at a loss for words, but being on the ground she could see what the others couldn’t see, the fireworks in the clouds.

"Listen, I have a thousand things to say to you, to all of you, I don’t want to congratulate you because I really don’t deserve it, you are much greater than me! But we don’t have time to Talk about that, Dora is coming!"

"We know he will come, we understood it when we decided to stay with the Queen. We will not run away this time!"

"...What? What are you talking about? You... you’re getting it wrong, Dora will come, yes, but not just for the Queen! Dora..."

"Is already here."

A voice that sounded like a death sentence, a voice that no one could forget.

They looked up at the sky in deep shock, and there, right before their eyes, the dream they had lost had become the nightmare that found them again.

Gloria gritted her teeth, her eyes shining, Freya, Liliana, and Iris stood up, Hope and Cid backed away.

"I hate it when my guests leave without permission, Sloth." Dora came down from above.

He stood there in the air, gazing into the shocked faces of his old friends, examining each one carefully.

Freya took a step forward, but Iris quickly grabbed her arm, shaking her head.

They didn’t know if they wanted to talk or wake up from this nightmare, it was the worst possible situation.

"Beta, what did you do to him?!" Candace broke the silence.

She alone stood in front, her eyes expressing anything but fear.

Dora sighed, then raised his hand, followed by the appearance of five pentagrams.

"Why don’t you ask him yourself?"

The pentagrams projected five comets crashing beneath Dora, leaving glowing-eyed shadows emerging in the dust.

The Personas stood up, each barely interested in their opponents, with two other individuals at the feet of Sigma and Alpha.

"Marie!"

Liliana shouted, her friend unconscious on the ground, covered in a yellow aura, and next to her, Zury.

They tried to rush towards them but stopped immediately when Dora landed in front of Candace.

"Guh... You..."

"The world is too short for you to hide from me, little lady."

"Gh... Beta, what did you do to him? You... You did that thing... You turned him into a puppet?!"

In the back, Beta shook his head and pointed at himself.

"Not a puppet, but something better, for me. And now, it’s time to end this game we’re all playing."

His hand reached for Candace’s head but Iris quickly pulled her from behind.

Dora only reacted with another smile, he had them, he knew they had no way out and even they knew it.

"Relax, I may be a monster, I have standards. I hate you all, but I hate you the least, after Marie and maybe Liliana, so I will kill you last. You will all die, but I’m waiting for someone, so I’ll follow my execution plan with, starting by the one I missed the most."

His eyes flashed and turned to the person standing furthest from him.

"Death has come to your door...Gloria."

The Queen groaned and unleashed a wave of wind, an invisible aura rising around her.

The two looked at each other, their eyes shining, everything was happening too fast to follow, too disastrous to accept, but the truth was there, Dora and Gloria were about to kill each other, and then...

"Really... You’re still the same, huh?"

Hope walked nonchalantly and stopped between them.
