Chapter 111: John’s Plan (2/2)

"We have two options for you. You can choose one," Executive Jason said. "First, an assassination of two people. Second, a delivery job to do in the Nexus City. You are going there with Azelis anyway."

Executive Tavros’ eyes glinted. ’Whatever option you choose, you are doomed, bastard.’

"You have half an hour to make your decision. If you don’t agree to our terms, you will see Jibril suffering hell in front of you."

After saying that, Executive Jason turned and began walking. "We will return after 30 minutes."

Executive Tavros licked his lips at John and said. "Kid, it’s fine if you don’t want to make a decision. It’s been a while since I tasted a young flower."

A hateful, infernal rage was surging within John as he saw Tavros leaving while laughing after saying that.

Looking at Jibril, he clenched his fist, his eyes resolved.

’Chuthulos, I need to make a plan.’

John sat down on the floor instead of on the bed, his eyes straight ahead, filled with burning wrath.

’Because I fucking choose the option three.’

[ Alright, brother John. What plan do you have? ]

’I can’t enter Monster Paradise right now. They might have surveillance here to observe us. So I want you to create some things for me using Molding Essence. We might delay the upgrade of Monster Paradise with this, but this is important.’

[ Of course. What should I create? ]

’First, create something that can disable or destroy the spirit formation of this prison cell. The entire prison cell is too strong for me to break, as it has the same defense as a peak Emperor-rank Monster.’

[ Done. Next? ]

’A min-device that can fit into my mouth without making it obvious and shoot a very tiny needle with high penetration. The needle should be able to hold poison and release it upon getting punctured into a living being.’

[ Done. Next? ]

’Next, I will have to search.’ John’s eyes flickered as he opened Xhalthuun’s shop. ’Tell me if you can find a poisonous item or a poisonous resource enough to give insane suffering to even Emperor-rank Tamers before killing them.’

The shop was already refreshed as a week had passed since he last refreshed and brought two items—Raaz Te’el Mask and Astral Lumen Carrot.

Looking at the current five items, John found none that were poisonous.

Spending 100 Xhal Drops, he refreshed.

[ Nope. Nothing poisonous here. ]

Another 100 Xhal Drops for a refresh.

[ That dagger is of Poison-attribute, but it’s not lethal enough for Emperor-rank. ]

John continued to refresh.

Ten minutes passed, and John had refreshed over a hundred times by now.

’Fucking hell!’ John’s veins protruded, but he calmed down again. ’Fuck.’

[ Tough luck, but we will get it. You continue to refresh. ]

John refreshed.

[ That...oh shit! ]

’What? Did we get it?’ John asked as he looked at the items.

[Xhalthuun’s Shop]

-Shop level: 3

-Xhal Drops: 120983

< This week’s Items > ( Refresh Cost: 100 Xhal Drops. )

1. Spirit Seed of the Witherbloom Gale — 1,114,300 Xhal Drops.

2. Tethered Whisper Bell — 41,780 Xhal Drops

3. Xhavian Phage Capsule (Single-use) — 277,900 Xhal Drops

4. Skin of the Unburn Eel (Woven) — 388,990 Xhal Drops

5. Hell’s Paradise Noxerado’s Petal — 300,000 Xhal Drops.

[ That last item, brother John! Inspect it. ]

[Item Name]: Hell’s Paradise Noxerado’s Petal

[Rank]: Sovereign

[Description]:

—> Hell’s Paradise Noxerado is one of the most poisonous flowers in Sovereign-rank. A single drop of its poison extracted from a petal can trigger nightmarish consequences, as when it comes into contact with a living being that cannot resist its potency, all soul energy of the being is rendered corrupted and turns into a poisonous energy that inflicts physical agony while sending the being’s mind to such nightmarish torture that the person will do anything to kill themselves and free from this hell.

[ Isn’t it wonderful and perfect for these two pieces of garbage? :) ]

’Time to end my journey as this sect’s member.’

He looked at his wristband, which had been disabled ever since he arrived in this hall, so he couldn’t send messages to Azelis anymore.

’I’ll inform her after getting out. For now, let’s plan the execution. Also, do one more thing, Chuthulos. Make two separate prison cells in Monster Paradise, one that even Emperor-rank Tamers and Monsters cannot break, no matter what they do.’

John’s fist clenched, his eyes devilish as they coldly shone. ’Because I am not going to let them die so easily.’

[ No worries. Once they are poisoned by this nightmare, they cannot summon their Pets, use the soul technique, or Geno ability. But separating them is wise because if they are together, they might kill each other to end their suffering. ]

’Good. I can’t enter Monster Paradise, so sacrifice a few Gold-rank resources, buy that petal, extract it to get poison, and lace it in the mini-device before sending it in my mouth. I’ll make my move when they come here.’

[ One minute. ]

A minute later, Chuthulos was done.

[ Alright, brother John. The device will appear in your mouth, and the aim is visual-assisted, as you will see a crosshair in your vision. Also, there are three needles infused with this poison in the device, and you can shoot by using a bit of soul energy in the device. ]

[ We still have half of the petal left, so we can have three more of those needles for the future. ]

’Great. Now we wait.’

John looked at Jibril and muttered. "You’ll be fine."

He made her life hell, even if it was indirectly.

This sweet girl, despite him telling her about how his life will be volatile, and that she may not have a future with him, decided to shower him with affection and fall for him...in return for what? The deaths of her family and the destruction of her future.

But John had decided now. He wouldn’t let anything happen to her.

He wouldn’t let her future be destroyed, and she would find happiness. This was the promise he made to himself.

In silence, as he waited, time passed, and soon, the 30-minute deadline was reached as Jason and Tavros arrived.

"So, John. Have you made your decision?" Jason asked calmly.

Tavros sneered. "Which option are you going to choose, bastard?"
