Omega Summoner-Chapter 2416: Meeting at Avalon II
The small blue fox is a Divine Guardian, and they are a peculiar race of beings in the world. The origin of Divine Guardians is different from Eden Guardians despite possessing bodies of monsters. Divine Guardians are said to be a remnant spark of gods that have been killed. They are said to be the Will of the God that took shape in order to protect their followers even if they died.
"So, what is you name Divine Guardian? The fact that you can also create a small clone of yourself to send here means that you have complete trust of that man you cling to." The Lava Elemental King Magma stated.
The Divine Guardians are beings that cannot leave their territories fully as they are literally tied to them once they are the objects of faith. There is a way for a Divine Guardian to move territory to territory and that is to create small shrines in their owner. They are still restricted to areas that they are objects of faith though as that is what keeps them alive. It is also the reason that they can easily vanish should the places they protect lose faith in them.
"I am the Divine Guardian Inari. My faith has grown enough for me to create a small clone of myself, and I trust Ain fully as we do have a covenant. Also, I am interested in this place as it is full of the energy of nature and faith! I might be able to spread my influence here." The Divine Guardian Inari stated but it suddenly felt an intense stare from behind it as a silhouette of a child appeared briefly to warn it.
"Ohoh! It seems that this place has a land deity. You would need their permission to even construct a small shrine here. It seems that the land deity is also powerful enough to repel you should you provoke it." The Lava Elemental King Magma stated.
"Did something happen, Guardian Inari?" Ain asked as the divine guardian suddenly became tense.
"Pay it no heed, Ain. I was just rambling about without consequence, and I was warned. There is nothing wrong with that as we need to respect the place." The Divine Guardian Inari stated as it suddenly felt another being similar to the Tree of Life and Death coming towards them.
"You guys are early which is quite amusing and shocking." Anastacia stated as she arrived with Cersei, Alder, and seven other players that are also high elves.
"A child blessed by the Tree of Life. I think that should be connected to her." The Lava Elemental King Magma stated as she appeared as a small flame in front of Anastacia and pointed to her bracelet that looked like roots and leaves. fгeewёbnoѵel.cσm
"To think a Tree of Life picked a High Elf but she does have the power of the great goddess flowing through her. She must be the Envoy of Life." The Divine Guardian Inari added.
"This is?" Anastacia stated as she was shocked to see peculiar beings suddenly checking her out.
The other Evergreen members were on guard as they saw the two beings get near Anastacia, but the other two guild masters smoothed it out. Anastacia actually learned a lot about different beings that can be protectors. She is thinking if she can have elementals as guardians in Neo Alfheim as they are also abundant there.
"No! I do not like to always look after those pesky children!" A cute childlike voice suddenly stated.
"Where did that come from?" Anastacia asked as she heard that voice near her.
"That would be that being, my dear." The Lava Elemental King Magma pointed to the bracelet of Anastacia.
"I do not permit that!" A small green child that is about four inches in height stated and this was the projection of the bracelet given to Anastacia.
The bracelet given to Anastacia is none other than the Promise of the World Tree. A bracelet that can only be given to the one trusted by the world tree itself. It is a bound item that can grow up to the Transcendent rank if the world tree is powerful and old enough. The tier of the bracelet is currently at the Legendary Rank as the world tree in Neo Alfheim is not yet old enough.
"Mother, I did not know you could project yourself! Apologies if I did not notice immediately." Anastacia stated as the world tree is like a mother to the high elves.
"No worries, Anastacia. I do not like you recruiting those pesky elementals as guards. You can find some divine beasts if you want but not elementals. They are very difficult to control which is why we prefer the Fae and their kin as they are levelheaded. Elementals tend to prioritize what interest them which can be destructive at times." The projection of the world tree stated.
"Elemental Slander! I cannot believe that a world tree dares to slander our race!" The Lava Elemental King Magma shouted in protest.
"I mean, the world tree does not lie. I even had some of my villages back then destroyed because of the whim of a High Elemental." The Divine Guardian Inari stated as it had some troubles with elementals back then.
"Its Saena!" Someone suddenly shouted which diffused the growing tension as a large white bird flew the skies and dove towards them.
A lot of the people that saw Saena diving cleared the way as they thought she would descent with her large body, but she shifted into a humanoid form midway through. Saena took on the form of a teenage girl that is wears a pure white dress and adorned with feathers that shined like the rainbow. She also has a plume that dragged the floor that made her dress flowing with the wind. As soon as she descended, the Elemental King, Divine Guardian and the world tree tensed up.
Saena's clear silver eyes looked at the three beings and went near them. The very gaze that she gave made them quiet and meek as if a powerful pressure befall them. The weight of the gaze used by Saena made all powerful beings curl up in fear because she has the Tree of Life and Death backing her up. She was sent there to give a warning to the three beings as they needed to behave.
"Hello, Saena." Anastacia greeted.
"Hello, longer ears. I merely came here because there were some that are exuding their pressure. They were given permission to be here, but it seems that they are forgetting their place." Saena stated.
"I see. We apologize for that as we were the ones that brought them." Anastacia stated.
"You are not at fault as they were already given warnings when they passed through the barrier. I shall be on my way now." Saena stated as she turned into light and changed back to her form to return back to the Tree of Life and Death.
"We were about to ask about the meeting, but it seems that she is not the people person type." Anastacia stated.
"We should explore Avalon more. We can just meet up in the guild home when Equinox tells us to assemble." Ain stated as he wanted to check the entire territory.
"I agree. A lot of us are early because we wanted to explore." Siegfried stated.
"We also thought the same. See you later then." Anastacia stated as all of them split up to do what they wanted to do before the meeting.
The other guilds have finally arrived inside of Avalon and Adrian was notified that all of those invited are already here. He made sure that everything has been prepared before going out and inviting the people inside of their guild house. When he got the go signal, Adrian came out of the guild house and learned some interesting information from the Tree of Life and Death about additional guests.
"Just make sure to observe for now. My other soulbounds are in the territory and you can ask them to do your bidding." Adrian told the Tree of Life and Death.
[Attention, all guild leaders and their entourage. We have finished preparing to welcome you. Please head to the Temple of the Twin Gods as that is where I will welcome you.]
Adrian announced that he will meet them in the Temple of the Twin Gods as this place was the third safest spot in the territory. The first safest spot is none other than near the Tree of Life and Death. The second safest spot is actually Old Man Pann's ranch as he basically protects the entire thing.
The Temple of the Twin Gods is open to everyone that visits the territory as this is where the main temple is located. It is also the most intriguing temple among the Temple of the Twin Gods as it was made naturally by trees. The wood elves and dark elves themselves poured their hearts and souls creating it. It is actually one of the tourist spots in Avalon.
