One after the other, the towering pylons pierced the heavens collapsed unto themselves becoming nothing more but rubbles on the ground. The runic barriers and shielding which encompassed the entirety of the capital city slowly dissipated. Defeat was creeping into their doorsteps, and no matter how much they resisted. It was not stopping for it was their destined outcome.

It was inevitable.

The outer districts of the capital city were the first to fall into the hands of the heretics march. Steel walkers pierced through any semblance of defense, destroying pylons with ease and bringing forth the bombardment of the vessels of execution drifting across the skies. What followed after the fall of the outer districts, was the steady descent of the interior districts.

Arcanum Engines navigated through the decimated expanse, partaking in a task that was far removed from their supposed duty. After all, these siege engines were created to invade the lands of others and subjugate those that dared to resist. It wasn't constructed for protection, but for conquest. For these reasons, like the pylons, these landships sunk unto the ground as wreckages.

Half an hour was all it took for the interior district to also collapsed under the weight of the Sentinel Fleet. The steel walkers, previously divided by multiple districts, converged unto the central districts of the capital city. It was a terrifying battle as explosions deafeningly blasted alongside the rain of gunshots echoing throughout the cityscape.

Blazing flames burned buildings asunder while corpses lay upon the streets, reaching the end of the war. The central districts were fortified to the brim, but with a three pylons remaining. The defensive capabilities of the capital had been greatly reduced. As a result, the following barrages of shells from the steel vessels soaring across the heavens cracked the casket opened.

Afterward, the squadrons of steel walkers surged and pounded the defenders inside. The casualties were mounting, and the United World Government weren't pulling down their punches. As long as the Colonial Dominion continued fighting, the Sentinels wouldn't hesitate or give mercy. For there was no mercy against an adversary who wishes to continue fighting.

The central command of the Colonial Dominion had determined the inevitable defeat of Mavors. As such, after a layer of vote between generals and advisors. The Colonial Dominion of Mavors ultimately surrendered to the United World Government. Five hours after the declaration, the representatives from each sides stood within the square of the capital city.

They commemorated the day of surrender as the beginning of the age of peace. As a sign of good will, the United World Government would assist Mavors in rebuilding their lands and educating them in the ways of democracy, freedom, and liberation. Most of the time, it was the United Military managing the aftermath of the war between the Sentinels and the Colonial Dominion of Mavors.

With the United Military taking the reign, the Sentinel Fleet were ordered to continue expanding. Their next target was the Colonial Dominion of Hesperus. It was a massive colonial entity, rivalling Mavors in terms of military and islands. As such, the Sentinels were confident in tackling it down as they did with the Colonial Dominion of Mavors. It was merely a matter of time.

A day soon passed and a lone strategic ship drifted above the capital city of Mavors. It was a carrier, a massive behemoth over 300 meters in length. It was filled to the brim with drones whether it'd be the attack, interceptor, stealth, and bomber type. However, at the moment, the strategic carrier wasn't the main focus. Instead, what was important was the one inside of it.

Abraham observed the capital city of the Colonial Dominion with a calmed gaze. It was the first time he visited a foreign city that wasn't part of the former Colonial Dominion of Terra. As expected, the colonial architecture was far different. An indication that different countries of humanity have sovereignty over the Colonial Dominions. They might not be as united as previously thought.

Since a day had passed, the decimation of the capital city had been cleansed and steadily recovered into its former sight. Obviously, the surrendering soldiers, generals, advisors, and Magi were arrested. They had been considered as prisoners of war and would be imprisoned with the maximum prison deep inside the territory of the United World Government.

"Another sea region, huh?" Abraham muttered to himself. He had expected this day to come, yet he felt nothing. He expected himself to be excited, but victory seemed to be too natural for him. "And it wouldn't even end here. The United Navy is transitioning into becoming an organization that rivals the Sentinel. Equipped with the same combined-technology, our military power will sour."

"Sir, the Sentinels have begun their assault against the Colonial Dominion of Hesperus. Utilizing the updated doctrine, the fleet has become more effective in invading the colonial islands. Steel walkers are also undergoing in the process of augmentation to make them significant better at their duties as shock troops." Behind the Authority of the United World Government was a lone intelligence officer.

"Understood, it seems that they are working hard." Abraham remarked as the edges of his lips slightly rose. The Colonial Dominion of Mavors was merely the begin. It wasn't the end of what had begun. It was a total war, and the United World Government was consuming all of them. Their only paths was destruction through resistance or complete utter surrender.

"Prepare conversion of Mavors and ensure that the civilians will be protected under the same covenant as ours. They can choose to leave the Colonial Dominion or stay, but the slaves must be freed regardless of their opinion. Also, report to me once they recover significantly so that we can begin their development into our governance."

Abraham bombarded the intelligence officer with orders, but the latter didn't seem to find and absorbed the commands like sponge. After a nod of confirmation, the intelligence officer left and the middle-aged man returned his attention to the recovering capital city of Mavors. Once Mavors becomes ready, they would join the United World Government as a member state. They would perhaps be the biggest one.

"Things really are getting interesting." He muttered to himself, staring at the wall before ignoring it moments later. "There's no doubt that Europa will hear of this. Their reaction would determine the future of this world. Whether it'd be though total war and destruction, or peace and harmony." He didn't doubt that the future would be a bloody one.

But the United World Government would be ready.

"After defeating the Colonial Dominions, the United Military should shift towards another direction. The opposite one. The Frontier are still a troublesome adversary as it is the largest piece of the Ferus Sea and could be considered as united." Abraham's gaze narrowed, but a light chuckle soon escaped. "Well, it isn't a problem a gunpowder cannot handle."

Meanwhile, the Colonial Dominions of the Ferus Sea reacted harshly upon the complete defeat of Mavors. Not only that, after hearing the invasion of Hesperus. There was no doubt that most of them were confiding with their respective nations from the continent of Europa. The Magus Tower might even have to get involve as many of their members have been arrested as prisoners of war.

They would have to acquire them back, otherwise their reputation and status would be threatened within the mainland. But the monarchs of kingdoms and the emperors of empires had bigger problems to tackle. Their Colonial Dominions were falling, and it wouldn't take long before humanity would be thrown out of the Ferus Sea.

Amongst humanity, many considered the Ferus Sea as the new world. It was the sea of opportunities and wealth. The reason why humanity grew to become a dominant figure within the continent of Europa was through the resources they had acquired from the new world. Without it, their economy would crash and it would take time for them to adapt, halting expeditions in the continent.

A troublesome scenario indeed.

League of Humanity, Albion Empire.

Inside the imperial castle, a towering structure carved from the mountain range that pierced through the heavens, a lone Archmagus walked through a luxurious hall of authority and nobility. Imperial banners were strapped unto the lofty pillars of white marble as imperial guards stood in-between with their words raised upward towards the ceiling.

Communications from the Magus Tower had reached them, and reports were disappointing to say the least. It didn't take long for him to arrived within a vast throne room where a golden throne resided at its very center. He gazed onward with the weight of imperial authority pressing over his shoulders. Before him was the one and only Emperor of the Albion Empire.

The Eternal Emperor, Pendragon.

"Merlin, what brings you to my humble abode?" The emperor's voice resounded throughout the throne room akin to the words of the heavens itself echoing in every corner. Pendragon was amongst the representatives of the League of Humanity. Although he wasn't part of the gods, or the so-called Sovereigns, he wasn't to be underestimated.

Merlin stood before the emperor and lightly bowed like a noble before reporting a grave news from the new world. "My liege, another Colonial Dominion has fallen. The culprit is the same one that erased Terra and brought forth the heretical nation, the United World Government." The Archmage was straightforward, and didn't give complex details regarding the news.

"You mean the offshoot of heretics within the new world conquered another Colonial Dominion? How could this be, Merlin? We have supported them in their war effort to take back the sea region of Terra. Why are they the ones falling into the hands of the heretics?" The voice of the emperor was calm yet deafening, demanding answers.

"The sole offender is the Authority of the United World Government, the leader of the heretics, and the man toy of the Dragon of Liberation."

"His name as Abraham Shepherd..."

"And he will be what brings forth the end of the golden age of humanity, commencing the age of strife."
