A/N: KIA's Valeyria branch's Head of Intelligence's name is Emma, not Anna. I've edited the previous chapters. There is only one Anna in this novel, that is Anna Hayes. Sorry for the error.

"Good evening, LIFA! It's awesome to see such charming actors and actresses from high up on the stage." A man dressed in blue came out from the left side of the stage.

As he was moving towards the lectern placed to stage's right, another pair of footsteps came from the right side of the stage.

A woman dressed in a red gown walked towards the lectern with a hypnotising smile on her face.

From the lectern, she gazed at the crowd gathered and said, "Jonathan, isn't that obvious? When all the accomplished actors from our industry gather under the same roof, then the view should be nothing less than charming."

Her words invited quite a lot of applause from the audience, as a smile could be seen on most of their faces.

"Come on, Anna, you don't have to correct me in front of the whole country," Johnathan whined like a kid.

"Hmph, you should have chosen your words correctly," Anna snorted and turned her back towards him, making Johnathan swallow his words.

This small gimmick invited a lot of chuckles from the crowd thus lightening the mood.

The anchors then cracked a few jokes they had prepared, and when they felt the mood of the audience was fine enough, they started with the next set of events before the main award ceremony began.

It consisted of one dance show, two singing shows and finally a play.

While the audience was enraptured by the events, Anna's eyes were looking for someone in the crowd of people gathered.

'Where is he sitting?' She thought as her gaze went from left to right of one row to right to left of the second.

However, despite her tries, because of the bright lighting and her distance from the audience, she was unable to find him. In the end, she just gave up.

When the play ended, the anchors once again made the audience giggle before turning serious.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, the time has finally come for what you've been waiting for all this while, so are you all prepared?!" Jonathan asked, but was met with a dull yes.

"I'm sorry, but my hearing is not very good. Let me try asking again. Are you all prepared?!" Jonathan asked louder than before and got a befitting cry of "YES" from the crowd.

"That's better," Jonathan smiled and turned towards Anna, "Anna, do you think we should tease them a little more or start with it already?"

Jonathan's words were met with a deafening 'BOO' from the audience members making Anna chuckle.

"I think the audience has already answered your question on my behalf. So, ladies and gentlemen, keep your eyes on the screen before me as I will start calling out the names of the nominees in the 'Best Supporting Role' category.

Sounds of applause rang all around as the entire hall turned dark, and the wall behind the stage was illuminated from the projector.

"Torian Reeds, for his character: James Muck in the movie 'Gun Slingers',"

Like this, Anna named out the ten nominees before finally the winner was called and awarded the prize.

Time passed, rows of applause echoed throughout the hall, and it was finally time for the 'Best Rookie Awards'.

The nominees' names were read by Jonathan this time.

"Jin Blaker, for his character: Jack Pale in the movie 'Smile Please'"

After finishing with all the nominees, it was now time to announce the winner.

Fana grabbed Jin's hand with a smile filled with anticipation. Jin nodded at her with a confident smile as the two turned back to the stage.

Jonathan slowly opened up the envelope in his hand, and after reading the name, he teased the crowd with his expression.

He cleared his throat a bit and finally said, "So the LIFA award in the category of 'Best Rookie' goes to…' he once again paused, but by now the crowd was used to his antics and just waited patiently with a snort.

"JIN BLAKER!!!"

The spotlight was dropped on Jin's figure, and all the actors surrounding him started clapping for him.

To celebrate this occasion, Jin deeply kissed Fana in front of everyone before thanking the crowd and making his way towards the stage.

There was a hint of excitement on Anna's face when she finally saw Jin but the next moment a deep frown formed on her face when she witnessed Jin's intimate action with Fana.

Loads of questions formed in her mind, but this was not the moment to ask them. She corrected her expression soon after and gave the lectern to Jin.

"Good evening to everyone present here. 'Smile Please' was my first film and I'm very grateful to my director, all the supporting actors and the film crew, without whose guidance and support I may not have been standing on this stage today.

I'm also deeply grateful to the fans who loved my performance. I'll make sure to keep honing my acting skills so that you'll never get bored of me.

Lastly, I would like to share this space on the stage with a very special individual. She's the person with whom I've decided to spend the rest of my life with, and therefore I'll be requesting the anchors to allow me this grace," Jin turned to look at Jonathan, who readily nodded with a smile.

"Fana, can you please come up on stage and share this award with me tonight," When Jin finished his words, the spotlight fell on Fana's figure, who gracefully got up from her seat, and with a

bright, charming smile made her way up the stage among the cheers of the audience.

Her exhilaration was immense since her plan was to use this push to once again rise in the film industry and fulfil her dream of becoming a mega star.

With aspirations clouding her mind, Fana reached the centre of the stage and hugged Jin tightly.

Jin then grabbed her waist with his left hand and raised the award in his right hand up high in front of the whole world with a victorious smile on his face.

He then reached for the mic and said the last few words he had, "Before leaving, I'll use this opportunity to thank Fana for her constant love and affection, which keeps pushing me into becoming a better man and actor for her, thank you, Fana."

With tear-filled eyes, Fana tightly embraced Jin the next moment, making the scene even more memorable for everyone.

Soon, under the deafening cheers of the crowd, the two of them made their way down to their seats and the award ceremony finally resumed. frёewebnoѵēl.com
