'At 3:30 AM, a van filled with explosives crashed into the walls of Valeyria State Prison, causing a huge explosion. Several guards died, and many were left grievously injured because of this incident.'

While watching the news on television, Jin took a bite from the cereal bowl in his hand.

After returning from last night's mission, he could only sleep for an hour.

At five, he left the bed and went for a run, and after freshening up, he was now having a bowl of cereal to fill his stomach.

'...Reports are saying that several prisoners have escaped from their prison cells. Citizens are requested to report any suspicious individuals in their vicinity to the officials.'

Jin just watched the television with a disinterested gaze until the bowl was finished and got up from the couch.

It was then that he noticed Fana's figure leaning with her right shoulder on the sides of the bedroom door's frame and looking at him.

"You should have woken me up if you were that hungry," She muttered.

"I just didn't want to wake you up early," Jin replied.

"Well, you should have reduced the television's sound if you really didn't want me to wake up early," Fana sighed in an exasperated manner.

"I didn't realise it, I'm sorry," Jin apologised.

"It's alright," Fana took the bowl from his hand and said, "Let me prepare something more filling as a breakfast for you."

"Thanks," Jin gave an embarrassed smile at this.

A while later fresh omelette with sauce was made by Fana for the two of them, and Jin savoured it with delight.

"It worries me a little," Fana suddenly said.

"Hm? What does?" Jin, who was busy eating, raised his head to look at her in confusion.

Fana's head was facing the television on which the same news was being broadcast.

"The news. They are saying that there are more than thirty escapees. I fear they would try to cause havoc in the country," Fana expressed her views.

"I doubt that, if I were in their shoes, I would have done my best to leave the country as fast as possible and start a new life with a new identity," Jin said.

"Hmm, that makes more sense." Fana shook her head and sighed," I was worrying over nothing."

"Well, it's good to be alert since there is no dearth of crazy people who will go against the norm," Jin added, seeing Fana like this.

Their meal soon finished, and Jin told Fana about his schedule.

"I'll be leaving for work at 11 in the morning. I've talked with Dylan regarding some advertisements in the morning, and he told me to come to the agency late in the morning," Jin said.

"Ah, that's better. I had an appointment with my dermatologist today and felt a little bad about leaving you all alone at home," Fana mentioned as she went to the washroom to freshen up.

A maid arrived at 9 in the morning, who completed all the house chores, and at around half past ten, Jin dropped Fana off at the dermatologist's clinic and left for his agency.

Initially, he wasn't very much interested in doing these advertisements, but after spending 20 million Draks on designing clothes for him and Fana, he was feeling the pinch.

"Are things settled with Diana?" Dylan asked when he met Jin.

"Well, yes. I won't be seeing her ever again," Jin didn't feel like explaining everything to Dylan because he, too, didn't want to go over all that once again.

Dylan sighed.

"I see, well, let's start with the work then," Dylan said, handing him a few papers, which were the brand contracts he needed to sign.

Jin signed them all and, in the afternoon, went to the first place to shoot a TV commercial for Vodka.

The director was glad that Jin was quite skilful, and the shooting finished in less than an hour after Jin's arrival.

Thanks to his speed, Jin was able to do 3 commercials by 7 in the evening and finally returned home.

"So, how much did I earn today?" Jin asked Dylan.

"Hmm," Dylan gave it a thought and said, "Around 800,000 Draks."

"I see," Jin sighed when he heard this amount.

It looked unlikely that he would be able to recover those 20 million Draks easily. His fanbase was still small, so he wasn't paid a lot for commercials.

At home, after having a sumptuous meal with Fana, they indulged in nightly activities in the bedroom before hitting the bed.

At half past 12, Jin once again woke up and exited the room without alerting Fana.

Eighteen Hours ago,

Knock Knock

"Come in," A cold voice said from the room.

After getting the clearance, Bobby soon made his way inside Anna's office and gave her a folder.

"Ma'am, this is all the information we have available about William. His original name was Max Tarpat, and he was sentenced to a lifetime for attempted robbery at a bank.

After escaping from the prison, he contacted our underground contacts to get a new identity and paperwork and was blackmailed into becoming our Agent afterwards.

His performance at first was only subpar, and it's only recently that he started doing more missions. He quickly got promoted to become a Killer, and not even a year has passed, and he's more than qualified to become an Assassin," Bobby gave the briefing to Anna. ƒreeωebnovel.ƈom

Anna kept listening to him while her eyes glided through the information on the folder before finally resting her eyes on William's picture.

Lifting her head, she said, "Show me the footage you've acquired."

"Yes, ma'am," Bobby soon projected the footage he managed to acquire from the site this time and showed it to Anna.

The scene was of the swimming pool area. It showed Jin silently sneaking behind the guard, piercing the syringe into his neck and then slowly laying down the lifeless body.

"Since there were no cameras inside the farmhouse, we were unable to acquire anything else," Bobby added, but Anna didn't pay heed to him.

Her eyebrows were raised, and a trace of awe could be seen in her previously lifeless face.

"Ma'am?" Seeing her not responding, Bobby couldn't help but call her.

Anna was stirred awake, and soon a grin formed on her face.

'Yes, let's do that,' She thought and told Bobby, "Raise the difficulties of the next missions to be similar to that of middle-grade Assassin missions."

"…won't it be almost impossible for him and others to clear this test then?" Bobby hesitantly asked.

"Maybe or maybe not. I don't care about others. My only focus is on him and this is just a small price he must pay for catching my attention," Anna grinned and looked forward to the future.
