Chapter 4330 Two Grimms II

They didn't attack me immediately, nor did I.

We looked at each other without any words. Though, half of my concentration is on what is happening inside my armor.

I am scared of this ancestral power, and two Grimms are on the same level as the Werewolf—attacking me with twice the amount of ancestral power.

So, I would have been an idiot if I wasn't scared of it, but I didn't let that fear cloud my judgment.

"You still think I am weak?" I asked, and Rhinoman laughed. "Don't get your hopes up, human; we have only shown you a fraction of our power." it said and attacked.

Its attack came from the front, while Cheetman attacked from the left.

CLANG CLANG!

I defended against the attack of the Rhinoman with my sword while defending against the Cheetaman's attack with my string hand before attacking them.

They defended before attacking me.

I switched between offense and defense, watching their every move and responding against it.

A minute passed, and then another, and we continued fighting without anyone gaining an edge. It seemed to worry them; I could tell they were talking to each other as emotions sneakily shifted behind their eyes.

When suddenly, their aura's exploded to full power.

Seeing it, I couldn't help but smile in my heart. There is no choice in front of them but to do this.

They have already used quite a lot of ancestral power in their battle earlier. This is the reason why I waited before revealing myself to them.

I wanted to fight them as quickly as possible, but there was no need to give away the advantages.

Now, they have revealed their full power. They want to finish me quickly before they expend the ancestral power they have. Unlike them, I have no such problem.

I am not using any law power. I am only using my energy, through which I could last for hours.

"Bear, our full might human!" roared Rhinoman, flashing before me while Cheetaman's attack came from above. It's very fast; in one moment, it is in front of me, and in another, it is attacking me from above.

CLANNNG CLANNNG!

My string hand defended against the attack, shaking me, before I defended against the sword of Rhinoman, which forced me to take a step back.

I could see the surprise in their eyes, but they didn't waste even a moment before coming at me once more.

Their attacks are fast and filled with all their might. They have no other choice. They saw using the energy and knew I could last much longer than them.

It had effectively turned the battle of attrition for me. As long as I survive, I will be victorious eventually.

They don't want it to happen. For them to gain the victory, they need to finish me off.

I took another step back, and they tried to use it to their advantage. Once more, I defended, but they attacked me again.

The attacks kept coming, and I kept defending. Soon, a minute passed, and I stopped taking a step back. Now, I only shook a little.

I looked inside me, and the picture wasn't that rosy. My armor is at 98% of its capacity, a very new limit.

The good news is that it is staying near that. I need to stay near that. The slightest increase could spell a disaster for me.

So, I fought and fought safely as minute after minute passed. While I remained calm, my enemies began to get despite. Slowly, they begin to lose control over their emotions.

A little over fifteen minutes after using their full power, I attacked with the increased power.

Rip!

The sword, held by the string arm, avoided the saber of Cheetaman and made a large cut across its arm, shocking it and the Rhinoman.

I had the opportunity to attack before, but I decided to wait. Let them spend more of their ancestral power.

They stopped, and I could feel the hesitation on their faces as they looked at each other. If these two had been friends, they would have escaped.

They are enemies fighting against the greater enemy, and that is me.

They are unwilling to show the fear. Instead, they wanted to kill me to prove their strength despite the fear they were feeling.

"You wretched bastard!" cursed Cheetman and launched another attack, covered in a dense yellow lightning.

CLANNNG!

I defended the attack of Cheetaman before stepping forward by avoiding the attack of the Rhinoman and swinging my sword at it.

Rip!

A large cut appeared on its waist while it watched in surprise.

Cheetaman is preserving its strength, but Rhinoman has started to weaken. It won't be able to last long.

"I will kill you!" it roared and attacked. I defended its attack and also that of the Cheetman before attacking. They defended it, but not the one after, which cut across Rhinoman's shoulder.

Rip Rip Rip!

In the next minutes, I brought down the injury after injury on the Grimms, but these injuries are shallow.

They would heal as soon as my blade brought them, but they still did the damage to their morale. This begins to affect their combat, making them take advantage of it and bringing more injuries to them.

Even now, they aren't running away, but looking at their expressions, that moment wasn't far. I need to finish them before that.

Seconds passed, and I finally decided to go for it.

I used every bit of power I had been holding back and moved toward Cheetaman.

I avoided the attack of the Rhinoman and appeared behind the Rhinoman and attacked it.

CLANNNG!

It reacted fast and turned before defending against the attack, but as it did. Its eyes widened, and it moved back with horror in its eyes.

Puch!

Unfortunately, it was too late; my second sword pierced its chest.

It wasn't a very complex attack. It was just a miscalculation on its part to underestimate the speed of my string hand.

It thought it could defend against my sword and dodge the string hand, but it could not.
