Chapter 260: Disappear

"Want me to tell the world that he’s riding on your money to get famous? If not, then come with me quietly so I won’t do anything to him."

Theron was looking at Liro like he was having a hard time choosing, but Liro had already understood that the fish had caught the bait.

Even before hearing Theron’s answer, there was already a smile on Liro’s face like he had won the world.

Lysander also told all the cameramen to stop the livestream and shut down all the drones.

But just then, Theron opened his mouth to say something—but instead of speaking, he punched Liro in the face.

"You madman, you don’t even have a mic, so how are you supposed to say anything to anyone? It’s just common sense."

And just then, Damon suddenly pulled Liro from behind, which shocked him.

He really thought Theron’s blood also worked against him—but no, he was wrong. It doesn’t. Damon was pretending, only to find a great opportunity.

"You bastard, you really ruined today’s great evening," Damon said as he threw a few punches.

Until Theron secretly bit his finger and touched the blood on Liro, saying,

"You can’t say a word from now on until I tell you to."

As he said it, it worked on Liro, and now he couldn’t say anything until Theron told him to. Lysander grabbed Liro, and Damon took the mic and stood facing the audience.

"I apologize to the fans who came here to support their favorite artists, but today’s performance is cancelled. You all can go home for now, but don’t worry—I will do justice."

People didn’t want to leave—they remained there—but the bodyguards told them to go, and they didn’t have any other choice either, so they all left.

Kael had beaten Krivan to death, because when Krivan used his black magic on Kael, it didn’t work on him.

Jeren called the police and went to Silas. Meanwhile, Velric was with Orian and Meyer when they left the place.

And seeing all this, Meyer had a hunch that it wasn’t safe for them to stay there anymore—with a kid around, who knows who might come to attack them as well.

That’s why he took Velric and Orian back to his pack.

And when Jeren got on the stage, he rushed to Silas, ignoring everyone else.

"Silas?"

"Silas, how are you? Are you hurt anywhere?"

"No, Mr. Jeren, I’m fine. But what are we going to do about these temple people?"

Jeren glanced at Liro, and just then, Kael also arrived. Seeing him, Theron went to him.

"Where is that Krivan bastard?"

"He ran away in the middle of the fight. He disappeared," Kael replied.

Damon was looking around, focusing on even the smallest details. Then his gaze landed on Liro.

"Hey, if you really don’t want to die, then testify to all the wrong deeds the temple has done over the years. Admit he also forced you to come here today, and we’ll let you live."

In that moment too, Liro only thought about saving himself—that’s why he quickly nodded, and Damon gave the order to take Liro to their investigation room.

The bodyguards left with Lysander and Kael, because they didn’t know what might happen.

If Liro ran away, it would cause problems, so Kael and Lysander went with them to keep an eye on him.

As they left, Damon glanced at Theron. ƒrēewebnoѵёl.cσm

"Let’s go, Theron. And Silas, stay with Mr. Jeren—we’ll talk later about today’s matter."

Silas nodded, because he also knew how important it was to get everything useful from Liro. As he nodded, they both left. Only Jeren remained there.

"Silas, come on, let’s go home. It’s late already, and we can’t stay here any longer."

And just then, Ren and Liam came onto the stage from backstage. Ren rushed to Silas and hugged him tightly.

A little while ago, when Krivan and Liro appeared backstage, they nearly killed everyone because no one was telling them how to stop Lysander and Silas’s mic or giving them a new one.

And even when they did, Krivan still used his black magic—everyone who had been waiting for their performance was now lying on the floor.

Since Ren and Liam’s performance was already done, they had been in the fitting room, watching Silas’s live performance on TV.

After five minutes, when they broke the hug—

"They both did something backstage. All of them are lying on the ground, unconscious," Ren said.

Hearing that, both Jeren and Silas rushed backstage to see.

And when they saw that—from the crew members to every performer—everyone had passed out, it shocked them. Still, they looked around to see if anyone was awake.

While looking around, Krivan suddenly appeared in a corner, lying down and pretending to be one of the performers.

Since it was a little dark in that area, it was hard to tell, but Silas noticed some movement and went to Krivan.

"Are you okay?"

As he asked and saw Krivan’s face, he was about to shout that Krivan was there—but before he could say or do anything, Krivan grabbed his hand and disappeared from there in a second.

Jeren did hear Silas say, "Are you okay?"—but he thought someone must have just woken up.

However, after a few minutes, when he glanced again at the spot where he had seen Silas earlier, he was no longer there.

Jeren quickly rushed over and panicked when he saw that Silas was gone. He searched everywhere, trying to find him.

"Silas is missing," he told Liam and Ren, and they both immediately started searching for him too.

"Silas, where are you?"

"Silas?"

They kept calling his name and searching for him. Even Jeren told all the bodyguards to search everywhere, but even after a while, they didn’t find any clue about Silas at all.

"Mr. Jeren, where did Silas go?" Ren asked.

"Did someone kidnap him or something?" Jeren mumble.

And just then, Orian and Meyer returned inside. They were about to leave, but Velric started to cry, not ready to go yet—so they didn’t have any other choice.
