Married For Now-Chapter 219: GENDER REVEAL PARTY
Chapter 219: GENDER REVEAL PARTY
SOHEE wanted the gender reveal party to be intimate since only his family and closest friends were invited.
Of course, Kim Heedo’s family was there— except Chairman Kim Hyungsik.
I didn’t invite the chairman. If he wants to be involved in my babies’ lives, he has to work for it.
Fortunately, Kim Heedo supported his decision.
But he still couldn’t help but wonder if his husband was really alright with that.
"Heedo-ya?"
"Yes, Hyung?"
Sohee and Kim Heedo were in the parlor room in his in-laws’ mansion.
Yes, since the party was intimate, they chose his in-laws’ house as the venue instead of one of their hotels.
Mother-in-law and Father-in-law’s mansion is better than most hotels anyway.
Anyway, the glam team had just finished dolling up Sohee and Kim Heedo.
They were just waiting for the MCs— Hong Sera and Yang Jaewon— to call them.
"What is it, Hyung?" Kim Heedo asked, and then he teased him: "How do I look?"
Pfft.
Sohee was distracted when he turned to look at his husband.
As expected, the mustard yellow suit looked good on Kim Heedo.
That insane face card and sinful body...
"Let’s have sex later, Heedo-ya."
And, just like that, Kim Heedo’s pheromones exploded in the room.
Ah, I really love my husband’s scent.
"Hyung, don’t seduce me when Hong Sera might come in at any moment," Kim Heedo whined lightly, and then he cleared his throat before saying: "But, yes, let’s do that. Since Kyungmin Hyung is here, I’ll consult him later. If we’re going to do it, then I want to it without putting you and our babies at risk, Hyung."
To be honest, Sohee had already accepted the fact that Dr. Seong Kyungmin would be privy to their sex life.
It can’t be helped since he’s our doctor.
"What is it that you want to say earlier, Hyung?" Kim Heedo asked, changing the topic to help himself calm down. "You looked a bit worried, so I tried to cheer you up by making you look at my face."
"That’s your way of cheering me up?"
"Hyung likes my face... and my body."
Aigoo.
Sohee couldn’t refute that, though.
It’s a bit annoying that Kim Heedo knows I’m obsessed with his face, though.
"Am I being cheeky, Hyung?"
"Yes, yes, you are," Sohee said, chuckling. But he turned serious right away. "Heedo-ya, I’m sorry for not inviting your grandfather."
"Why would you be sorry about that, Hyung?"
"If we get on your grandfather’s bad side, he might exclude you in his last will. What if Chairman Kim doesn’t give you your inheritance because I keep disrespecting him?"
"You’re worried about my inheritance, Hyung?"
"Of course, I am. Your inheritance will be our children’s inheritance in the future, so I want you to secure it safely. Does it disappoint you that I’m being materialistic?"
"No, of course not. I’ve always liked how realistic you are, Hyung. Love can’t feed our family, so it’s only right to worry about our wealth," Kim Heedo said, patting Sohee’s head gently as if he were a kid. "To be fair, the things I got from my parents are enough for our family to live comfortably even if we don’t work. I invested in a few companies here and there, so I’m getting pocket money from those ventures, too."
’Pocket money.’
It’s probably millions of won.
"But, of course, I also want our children to inherit what they deserve," Kim Heedo said, smiling. "After all, we wouldn’t have gotten wealthy in the first place if my grandfather hadn’t stolen your grandfather’s winning lottery ticket. So, our children deserve to get their inheritance."
"Right?" Sohee agreed, beaming. "Plus, us getting married was supposed to bring prosperity to your family. Chairman Kim should remember that."
"Yes, Hyung. Don’t worry too much. Grandfather knows it’s his fault that he was not invited here, so he can’t take that against you. He tried to set me up with my ex when I lost my memories, didn’t he?"
"Chairman Kim hasn’t apologized for that yet."
"He won’t be invited to our wedding until he does."
Sohee smiled and nodded. "Yes, let’s do that."
"Are you feeling better now, Hyung?"
"Yep. Thank you."
"I’ll reserve a suite at our hotel later, then let’s check in after the party."
"We’re going on a late-night date?"
"Yes, Hyung," Kim Heedo said, smiling cheekily. "We’re going to have a hot night."
Sohee blushed, but he smiled and nodded. "I’d like that."

"YEONWOO-ya, you made it," Sohee greeted Jang Yeonwoo, his husband’s sunbae, who would also be their photographer for today’s event. "I’m happy to see you here."
And, yes, Jang Yeonwoo asked him to speak comfortably since he was older than him.
"I should be the one thanking you for sending your driver to pick me up," Jang Yeonwoo said nervously while looking around. "I know Heedo-ssi is a chaebol, but I’m still shocked by how big and beautiful his house is. Honestly, this is grander than most fancy hotels I’ve worked in before."
Right?
That’s also how I reacted the first time I saw my in-law’s house.
Jang Yeonwoo looked at Sohee with shaking pupils. "Sohee Hyung, everything around here looks expensive. I don’t think I could move around at this rate. I could be clumsy when I’m nervous, so I’m afraid I’d be in debt forever if I break anything here."
Pfft.
The party was being held at the beautiful garden that was transformed to look like it was a setting taken out of a fairy tale book.
To simply put, yes, everything looked expensive.
From the table setting, the décor, and the fairy lights around.
"Don’t worry, Yeonwoo-ya," Sohee assured his new friend. "Even if you break something, we’ll put the tab on Heedo-ya."
Jang Yeonwoo looked surprised at first, and then he chuckled. "Right. Your husband is rich rich."
"Yeonwoo-ya, I’m a commoner like you, so I understand what you’re probably feeling at the moment. But I assure you— the rich folks here don’t care about your social status. You’ll see it later, and I hope it’s enough to help you relax."
"Oh, this pep talk definitely helped."
"I’m glad to hear that, then."
Jang Yeonwoo smiled, and then he raised his camera. "I’ll capture your most magical moments with your family today, Sohee Hyung."
Sohee laughed softly and nodded. "And I’ll introduce you to Garam Hyung later."
The excited squeal that Jang Yeonwoo squealed at that moment caught someone’s attention, apparently.
But that’s another story.

"AND, NOW, it’s time for Mommy Sohee and Daddy Heedo to cute the cake!"
Ah, finally.
The time has come.
Sohee couldn’t help but smile excitedly when Hong Sera handed the cute pastel yellow bread knife to him.
Yang Jaewon handed the other knife to Kim Heedo.
After the intimate lunch that they had with their precious guests, it was time to cut the two cakes that would reveal their babies’ gender.
Sohee looked at their guests one last time before he burst out crying.
Kim Heedo’s family was there, of course: President Kang Nari, Vice Chairman Kim Dohan, Kim Haewon, and Kim Hanhae.
Among Kim Heedo’s friends, he invited his childhood friends: Hong Sera, Yang Jaewon, and Kwon Gaon.
Sohee only invited one family member: Go Gunjoon, his half-brother.
He had several friends that he invited, though: Cho Euntak, Jang Yeonwoo (yes, he was also a precious guest aside from being the event’s official photographer), Lim Garam (with Baby Gunwoo, of course), Gong Hanseo (Lim Garam’s former group member), and Ahn Yuaje.
Yes, surprisingly, Heedoo didn’t mind.
Apparently, Kim Heedo owed Ahn Yujae something.
Anyway, aside from their friends and families, they also invited the people they owed a lot: Dr. Seong Kyungmin, Shaman Jung, and Shaman Miju.
Their trusted security team and household staff members were also there, of course.
This is the last time we’re going to have a party as small as this.
Sohee and Kim Heedo’s wedding was meant to be grand, so all the big shots in the country would be in attendance.
And I’ll finally meet my husband’s extended family.
"Hyung, are you feeling okay?" Kim Heedo whispered worriedly while rubbing his back gently. "If you’re already tired, don’t hesitate to let me know."
Oh, his husband probably got worried when he suddenly spaced out.
And it wasn’t just Kim Heedo.
Everyone seemed to be worried since he suddenly froze on the spot while getting emotional.
Aigoo.
How embarrassing.
"I’m fine, Heedo-ya. I just spaced out for a moment," Sohee whispered back to his husband. "Let’s cut the cake."
"Are you sure, Hyung?"
"Yes, yes— let’s cut the cake at the same time."
"Alright, Hyung."
Kim Heedo looked hesitant, but when Sohee started to cut the lemon cake that was shaped like a goose, his husband followed suit.
It’s a shame that we have to cut this cute cake, but...
Oh.
Sohee let out a soft gasp when he saw the color of the cake’s filling.
It’s blue— our first baby is a boy!
He immediately turned to Kim Heedo and saw that the filling of the cake he cut was the same color.
Oh.
"Boys," Kim Heedo said, smiling— a bit teary-eyed. "We’re having twin boys, Hyung."
Sohee could only nod because, at this point, he was already crying like a baby.
Kim Heedo laughed softly before putting down the sliced cake on the plate, and then he gathered Sohee in his arms. "Thank you for this wonderful gift, Hyung."
And Sohee could only cry in his husband’s warm and tight embrace.
"Folks, our beloved couple will be having twin boys!" Yang Jaewon, one of the event’s hosts, announced excitedly. "Congratulations, Sohee Hyung and Heedo-ya!"
