Limitless Summoner: Rise of the Soul God-Chapter 167: Come and sit next to me
The bed looked like it belonged in a high-class hotel room, not a student dorm—a plush mattress layered with silken sheets and several soft pillows. It was completely different from the simple setup in the inns, at least the ones he was used to.
Ethan walked in and looked around. From the outside, the room looked small, but inside, it was quite big. A wardrobe stood nearby, and when he opened it, he saw many spare robes, standard academy loungewears, and, thank the gods, many pairs of underclothes.

Ethan pulled out a set of loungewear and ran a hand across the fabric. Quality stuff. He changed into a fresh pair, tossing the robe onto the nearby chair, and finally—finally—felt like he wasn't one step away from being thrown out of the place for looking homeless.
He closed the wardrobe and turned to take in the rest of the room. A large desk sat under a narrow window that overlooked a distant tower, and a mana lamp hovered gently above it, casting a soft glow.
A bathroom door stood tucked in the corner, and a bookshelf sat mostly empty, save for a single thick tome labeled Blackstone Student Regulations and Guidelines.
He opened the bathroom door to find a big jacuzzi inside, along with a better-styled toilet than the simple bucket type in the inn. It almost resembled the modern world toilet, except that it was in the shape of a chair.
The jacuzzi itself was sunk into the floor, the water already steaming, swirling lazily as if beckoning him to just say screw it and jump in.
"Okay... either this school is compensating hard for its shitty morals, or someone royally screwed up my room assignment," Ethan muttered. He went back out and opened his room door when a pretty face appeared in front of him.
"Hi, I'm Sienna," the girl said with a polite smile, her amber eyes scanning him with interest.
She had shoulder-length black hair streaked with violet, tied loosely at the side. Her Blackstone robes looked customized—embroidered with faint silver lines that shimmered when she moved. Everything about her said noble.
"Wow, you must be one of the top-rankers of our class. You got a single room all to yourself." She peeked inside without any hesitation, her eyes briefly widening at the sight of the jacuzzi. "Yup. That's definitely one of the upgraded dorms. Most of us are in shared suites. Two, sometimes even three to a room, unless you bought an upgrade—or ranked well enough to earn one."
Ethan scratched his head. At this point, there was no way to hide that he was one of the 16, so he just played along with it. "Ya. I just barely got in. You can't really consider me a top-ranker."
Sienna tilted her head, amused. "You are very humble. Where are you from?"
"Johnny from the Vincent family."
"Hello, Johnny. Nice to meet you. By the way, I'm in 3A, just across the hall. Can I come in?" She gave him a wink and then stepped inside without waiting for an answer, her gaze already roaming the room with casual curiosity. Ethan stepped aside awkwardly, resisting the urge to groan. So much for keeping a low profile.
Sienna wandered over to the desk, ran her fingers along the edge, and looked out the window. Unexpectedly, she then walked over to the bed and sat on it. She stood up again, slipping off her robe in a smooth motion and draping it over the back of the chair, revealing a short skirt and a top that was barely covering her assets.
Ethan's eyes went wide. What the hell was happening here?
In front of him, the girl bounced slightly on the mattress, testing its give with a satisfied hum. As she jumped, her two melons jumped along with her. "Wow. This is actually nicer than my brother's dorm when he was here. And he was third in his year."
She looked up at Ethan, her expression light and innocent. "Come and sit, Johnny. Don't you want to chat for a while?" She patted the spot on the bed right next to her, while parting her lips and giving a sly smile.
Ethan froze, his mind running several calculations at once—none of them leading to a conclusion he liked.
Sienna's expression was all playful innocence, but her movements were deliberate, her gaze watchful. This wasn't just some casual visit. Whether it was curiosity, manipulation, or some mind game, Ethan wasn't sure yet. But he knew better than to take it at face value.
He gave her a tight smile and shook his head. "I am sorry, maybe some other time. I have to go meet an instructor right now." He tossed out a random excuse.
Ethan's voice was calm, but his tone left little room for argument. He could see the flicker of surprise in Sienna's amber eyes—surprise, followed quickly by something else. Curiosity? Amusement? Disappointment? Whatever it was, she masked it quickly with another graceful smile.
"Busy already, huh?" she said, standing up with practiced ease, brushing an invisible wrinkle from her skirt. "Guess the top-rankers have their schedules packed."
Sienna strolled past him with the same easy elegance she'd walked in with. She paused at the doorway, glanced over her shoulder, and gave him a wink. "I'll hold you to that 'some other time,' Johnny Vincent. Don't go disappearing on me."
And then she was gone.
Ethan closed the door behind her and leaned against it, letting out a long, exhausted breath. Then he made his way to the desk, pulled out the student regulations tome, and started flipping through it. A while later, he realized he had forgotten something important. Shadow!
He quickly dismissed the cat and summoned her again.
Shadow appeared on the bed in a blink, stretching languidly as if she'd just returned from a long, luxurious nap. The inky-black feline blinked once at Ethan, her eyes gleaming like twin moons, and then promptly hopped off the bed with silent grace.
She conveyed to him mentally that she found a nice tree and napped on it all this time. She then looked back at him with judgmental eyes as if she knew that he had forgotten all about her.
Ethan rubbed his temple. "I was a little busy trying to survive nobles and sudden seduction attempts."
And this was still his first day at the academy.
