The scene was still clear in his mind, where five of them had attacked Elias together. Thirty seconds... That's all it took for the boy to take them down, and that's when he didn't even move from his place or use any abilities.

From the start to the end, they didn't even know how they were beaten. All they remembered was the pain, and the coldness on his face when their Summoned Beasts were dying.

"You killed my Summoned Beast! Did you really think these shabby shackles could restrict me? I might not be as strong as you, but if I want to leave, you won't be able to stop me in this closed space!"

The boy pulled his hands to break the shackles that had tied his hands. The shackles looked ordinary, made from cheap iron. Even if he had lost his summoned beast, he was still strong enough to break it.

At least that's what he thought. The reality hit him differently when he heard the clanking sound of the chains that refused to break. Instead, it was his wrist that was hurting when he tried to break the shackles.

"Why can't I break them?" The boy thought, looking at the chains in disbelief. Was this not ordinary iron? Then what was it?

He didn't have time to think about this. If Elias had taken so much effort to restrict him, it couldn't be anything good. He had to leave this place! He had to go to a place where the Professors could see him.

He had already failed the rest, so he was sure that they would save him. Elias had already missed his chance to kill him in the test. Once he failed, it was too late to change his mind.

As long as he could leave this place, he could escape whatever tricks the spawn of the Ashborn Family was planning.

He rushed to the door, and slammed on it with his shoulder to break it. Once again, the outcome was the same. Let alone breaking the wooden door, he failed to leave even a single scratch on it.

"You can't escape this place. Wouldn't it be better to just listen to me? It would be much better for you."

"You crazy f*cker, what are you planning to do with by kidnapping me and taking my face? My family had sacrificed so much for this one chance! Do you think I would let you screw me over?"

The boy flew back to Elias, raising his knee which went straight for Elias's face. If he couldn't break the door, at least he could break Elias's face, who was also restricted by the Academy.

His Soul Beast was not here yet. And even if he was to summon it now, it was still enough time for him to thrash him as long as he was fast enough.

Elias clenched his fist, and brought it before his face, blocking the boy's knee.

The boy's knees had connected, but not with Elias's face. Instead, they connected with his fist. Elias wasn't sent flying, instead, it was the boy who felt a sharp pain rising across his body.

He could even hear the sound of his bones cracking, even though Elias had simply blocked and not attacked.

"Arghh!" He cried in pain and fell to the ground, holding his knees.

"I told you before. I don't want you to die. But that doesn't mean I won't protect myself. The next time you attack me, I will rip apart at least a hand from you. I hope you won't force my hand."

"If you want me alive, then let me go! Or I will bite my tongue and kill myself!" said the boy with clenched teeth.

"I don't want you to die. But it doesn't mean it's necessary for you to live. If you want to kill yourself, you are free to do so. But at your level, just biting your tongue won't kill you."

Elias summoned a knife from his hand, and tossed next to the boy.

"If you want to kill yourself, it's easier to use the knife. Or you can use the knife to attack me. It will only cost you an arm. I don't think your mortal parents would like that though. Maybe I should give them a visit after you're gone..."

Elias talked as if he was truly concerned about the boy, but he made it clear that it was a warning. It wasn't just his life in his hands, but also the life of his parents.

It was just a threat that he wasn't going to fulfil even if the boy killed himself. There was no need to involve the mortals in this. Moreover, he was certain that the boy was going to choose wisely.

"That look in your eyes. I like that. It seems you have made up your mind." Elias smiled, watching the boy clench his fist, even though the knife was right next to him.

He didn't want anything he wanted more than to slice Elias's throat, especially after that threat. But he had a feeling that if he touched that knife, he was going to die.

Even if Elias's class abilities were supposedly sealed, there was still something overwhelming about him.

He didn't want to die. His parents only had one child. He was even planning to return to his parents after graduation and make them experience the true luxury of the Upper Realm.

If he died here, then his parents were going to be all alone. And if Elias truly went to his parents... Just the thought sent chills down his spine.

He didn't think it was beneath an Ashborn. After all, the Ashborns were known to eradicate the seven generations of the people who offended them.

He was disgruntled. Although it looked like he had a choice, it was clear that there was only one path before him.

He swallowed the saliva in his mouth, and made a decision. He placed his hand on the ground, and lowered his head, his disheveled hair covering his expressions.
