When the chairman visited, everyone became nervous including Rose, who was the CEO.

Chi Lian turned her head to the wide window and sighed. "The view is gone." she said, unhappily.

When she looked out of the window now, all she could see where sky scrappers, flyovers and flying cars.

"When we introduced flying cars, to the world we were excited. We saw a whole new world that was like this alien world in a sci-fi movie. We never thought that someday there would be too many flying cars in the sky and the air would be polluted with noise because everybody wants to travel in a car that flies." She complained. "The government should pass a new law to limit how many cars are allowed to fly a day."

The world as it was today was not the world she had envisioned. Technology had grown but human mentality had not. It was the same old people with the same old thinking just better and smarter gadgets. Chi Lian did not think that many people would understand what she meant by this.

Rose snorted. "That will never happen. Our empire is the leading manufacturer and exporter of flying cars in the world. It is one of the things the royal family takes great pride in."

"Fuck them." Chi Lian lifted her eyes and sneered. "It is not as if they contributed anything to it. The technology was mine and Sunning motors, the Su family brought it to life. Where do you hear the Long’s in all this?"

Rose hated to break it to her mother but the Long’s were somewhere...like it or not. "They changed the laws allowing flying cars to become legal vehicles and...."

"Still...fuck them." Chi Lian said.

Mingzhe and Ringo entered the office which was open. Mingzhe closed the door for they needed absolute privacy.

"Did I hear you say F to somebody sister-in-law?" Ringo asked as he sat down.

Rose greeted him before Chi Lian could answer and then, she looked over Mingzhe from head to toe. "Little brother....."

"I am not little." Mingzhe protested. Politely, he greeted his mother and mumbled out a greeting to his elder sister.

"Why are you two in my office?" Chi Lian asked them.

The fact that they had both come together to see her was oddly suspicious. It did not help that Ringo’s face had an apologetic smile which she had seen many times before. He had come to ask for a favor and it was probably not one that she would like.
