Lady Meilin is seduced by her green tea brother-in-law everyday-Chapter 120: Police and chaos.
Chapter 120: Police and chaos.
The mighty little peepstar: The death of Grace!!
If you thought the ex socialite’s divorce was done being dramatic, I introduce to you the salt-chili water scandal. A low budget reality TV kind of meltdown which played right before my cameras.
The family of Mr. Mo Liang, led by his uncle Mr. Mo Tian paid a visit to the home of Miss Jun Meilin today morning. This peepstar is assuming that the visit was related to the arrest of one Mo Chenyu who was carted out of a casino in handcuffs by imperial soldiers last night. Who better to negotiate his release than the twin sister of the Imperial commander himself!!
Unfortunately, the visit turned into a brawl which ended spicily as Wu Tangning, eager to murder more of her famous grace run out of her house barefoot to splash buckets of water infused with salt and chili on the Mo’s.
Wu Tangning was heard yelling, "Next time, it will be hot water if you keep messing with my sleep."
Luckily for the Mo’s, Jun Meilin had called the police which saved them from Tangning’s wrath. In an unexpected turn of events, everyone was taken away in handcuffs!!!!
The last thing I heard was Wu Tangning shouting, "Call my agent," and Mo Tian crying and mumbling, "My hair, do you know how much it costs?"
Side note: Jun Meilin and Mo Liang have officially filed for divorce. In thirty days all this drama will come to an end and I for one will miss it.
[No pictures???????????]
[What has Jun Meilin turned my Tangning into? Fix her...I am crying...please fix her.]
[Yesterday Ronghua and Lijie, our lovely supermodels got into a fight. Today, Jun Meilin also got into a fight. Is this a fighting season? Is this a result of summer heat?]
[Peepstar, no video or pictures today, whats up with that?] freeweɓnovel.cøm
[Pictures, where are the pictures?]
[The peepstar’s cameras might have malfunctioned today because there is no evidence. I want to see the fight for himself.]
[I beg you to share a picture of that hair which someone was crying over. What does it look like? How does it feel? I MUST KNOW!!]
[You care about hair, I care about Tangning. How was she dressed when she came out of the house? Was she in cat ears again?]
There were many comments beneath the post and one half of them was a demand for pictures or a video of the fight. Chi Lian had deliberately withheld it given the fact that Mingzhu had participated in the fight.
T4 was deleting every video being shared by any onlooker that had been at the scene of the crime. The system was even hacking into the devices of the uploaders and wiping the video permanently.
At the police station meanwhile, detectives were trying to make heads or tails of the situation. The Mo’s were shouting loud accusations and threatening to sue everyone. Jun Meilin’s lawyers, twelve so far were also threatening to sue.
Press was trying to push their way into the police station, screaming outside for Tangning to make an appearance.
Meanwhile, she also had an agent and two lawyers from her company that were eager to get her out of the station as quickly as possible. They also wanted the police to issue a statement online, vindicating their client and apologizing for arresting her.
Their argument was simple, pouring water on someone was not a crime and the police officers had ruined her image by placing handcuffs on her.
Phones were ringing off the hook and most of the work had come to a standstill. The situation was so chaotic that the chief of police had come in person to handle the matter.
He was sweating meanwhile because the prime minister had already given him a call as had his boss and his boss’s boss. He received another call then, from the CEO of Phoenix group.
For people that had been arrested, Mei Mei and Feng Qi were quite giddy. It seemed as if they were cosplaying people that had been arrested rather than actual people that had been arrested.
"I have never been arrested before, this is so exciting." Feng Qi giggled girlishly.
"Me too." Mei Mei answered.
"Me three." Tangning laughed.
"It is fun being arrested together." Feng Qi added.
Jingzhe shook his head, he was coming to the realization that he was the most sane person among them all.
The police chief was about to demand for silence when he got another call. It came from the emperor himself and it made his legs tremble. He had only seen the emperor twice in person, once when he was graduating from the police university and the second time was when he attended a banquet at the palace.
He never dreamed that someday he would talk to the emperor in person. After a one minute conversation that left his heart pounding, he was pulled aside by a new group of lawyers that had arrived, six of them.
One handed him a card and whispered to him Mo Jingzhe’s true identity.
Police chief Pi Lejun sighed tiredly. Why hadn’t these people stayed home, fought behind closed doors or sent third parties to beat up their enemies secretly way other rich people did?
And who had called the police?
"Take the handcuffs off Jun Meilin and her group." he ordered an officer.
That order was quickly fulfilled.
"We are going to separate your groups and talk to you separately." Pi Lejun told them.
He gestured that them to follow him and they did so, along with all of their lawyers. The Mo’s watched them leaving and their eyes that were red turned even redder.
"Why have you taken off their handcuffs but not ours?" Mo Tian questioned on the top of his voice.
"It is favoritism, they are choosing the rich over justice." Mo Ai cried out.
A man entered the station bellowing loudly, "Justice, you want to talk about justice. Then let us discuss the extent of the involvement of the Mo family in Mo Chenyu’s crimes."
He slapped a file down on the desk and asked the other detectives to make room. Three more people entered the station, two men and one woman. They were all dressed in suits and they looked more like lawyers or bankers than officers of the law which they were as they were carrying imperial police badges and guns, attached to their lower waists.
The air in the station changed and calm replaced the chaos. The local police officers were curious to know what had brought elites to their station.
The first man that had entered introduced himself. "I am Supervisory Special Agent Chen Shanhe with the Imperial army police and these are my colleagues."
The colleagues introduced themselves, all of them were supervisory special agents with the Imperial police.
Chen Shanhe said to the the Mo’s, "We are here to question you all on the extent of your knowledge or involvement in Mo Chenyu’s smuggling. I will begin with you Mr. Mo Tian."
He gestured at the rest of the team to separate the Mo’s so that they would not have time to come up with similar lies.
As they were taken away, protesting their innocence, he checked his phone to see if it was recording. On confirming that it was, he started the questioning.
"Are you Mo Chenyu’s father?"
Mo Tian twisted uncomfortably in the chair. "Yes...no...I don’t know."
Chen Shanhe looked at Mo Tian curiously. "Is it a yes or no?"
"I cannot confirm without taking a DNA test." Mo Tian blurted out.
