Mei Mei diverted the flying car to the government office, she needed to find some workers that would plant the trees.

The office was much different now from the last time she had been there. For starters, there were more people inside that were waiting to be helped. Secondly, all the employee booths were full.

"Miss Jun Meilin!" The same young woman she had met the last time she had been there saw her and eagerly waved for her to come over. "Miss Jun, what brings you to the office? Do you need to expand the camp so soon?"

As she left the office, the young woman waved with a wide grin on her face. She did not hear the words update before lunch, she heard meet me for lunch.

Outside the office, Mei Mei found a security guard scaring away a dog. It was a skinny, malnourished with the ribs pressed against its skin. It’s golden brown fur was all knotted and very dirty. Houseflies were buzzing around it’s eyes.

She unwrapped it, walked towards the dog and held it out for it. The dog took took the sausage tentatively, but rather than gulping it down as expected, it run off with it.

When she was reaching it, it turned around and walked forward but kept looking back as if to make sure that it was being followed.

She followed it for a minute and came to the corner of an alley next to a big city garbage can. Down, next to the wheels of the garbage can was a sickly looking cat and two kittens. The sickly looking mother cat was eating the sausage she had given to the the dog.

The dog looked at the cat and whined. If she could understand animal language, Mei Mei would have heard the dog begging for help for itself and the cat.
