"You should have done this sooner…" Seara said when she took out her glasses. "Still, there is a certain charm in these glasses."

"This isn't a very good idea… I just realized this, but the more the light is around, the more this technique consumes my mana," Rain said while rubbing his chin thoughtfully.

"Isn't this technique that you use to disappear all of a sudden?" Seara asked. "The enemies probably won't find us."

The objective of that technique wasn't that, and it was to make Rain feel like Batman, to disappear from everyone's sight when they looked away for a single moment. In any case, it looked like the technique was truly going to help them with that because when they began to move, the monsters on that floor began to appear.

As the group crossed the crystalline floor, creatures suddenly emerged from the walls, their bodies radiating an intense luminosity that cascaded through the area. Initially, Rain suspected these creatures might have been summoned, but a closer observation revealed a different truth—they had been there all along.

Their bodies, emanating an abundance of light, provided the perfect camouflage within the dazzling surroundings.

Despite the group no longer being blinded by the radiant light, the creatures' details remained unknown. Their forms appeared slightly larger than tigers and moved with similar agility, yet their specific characteristics remained shrouded in the luminous glow that enveloped them.

This radiant aura made it impossible for Rain and the group to discern any further distinguishing features or specific attributes of the creatures.

As the beasts persistently tried to find the group, their keen senses allowing them to detect the presence of Rain and his companions despite the use of Rain's invisibility domain, an abrupt interruption surprised everyone. Sealyn, wielding her spear with precision and speed, summoned numerous water spears.

With a swift and forceful motion, Sealyn launched the water spears at the advancing creatures. The projectiles pierced the air with astounding speed, targeting the beasts with deadly accuracy. As the water spears found their marks, they cleaved through the creatures, splitting them vertically from head to tail in a display of remarkable power.

The sudden and decisive action taken by Sealyn caught both the creatures and the rest of the group by surprise. Rain, initially thinking about his next move in response to the beasts, found himself momentarily awestruck by Sealyn's swift and efficient assault.

Sealyn's quick thinking and precise execution in dispatching the creatures demonstrated her remarkable combat prowess and ability to take decisive action in the face of danger. Her actions allowed the group to evade a potential confrontation, showcasing her resourcefulness and determination… it also showed that she was a bit too impatient.

"It seems that since you have been giving orders for a while, you forgot how to follow others," Seara said after she crossed her arms.

"It worked, right?" Sealyn asked. "Results are everything.

Sealyn's impulsive action did show immediate and positive results, proving that sometimes swift and surprising attacks could be effective in dealing with threats. Seara understood this perspective, acknowledging that such tactics could catch adversaries off guard and quickly dealing with potential dangers.

However, she also recognized the potential downsides of acting impulsively, especially in a team setting where coordination and communication were essential.

Observing the situation, Seara looked at Rain, curious about how he would handle the aftermath of his daughter's actions. She knew that reprimanding someone for obtaining successful results, even if through impulsive means, wasn't Rain's best or preferred approach.

For Rain, finding a balance between allowing spontaneity and maintaining a structured approach within the group was a difficult task. He recognized the value of creativity and quick thinking, qualities that often led to innovative solutions in challenging situations. However, he also understood the importance of maintaining the teamwork.

Rain wanted to convey appreciation for Sealyn's abilities while emphasizing the importance of collaboration within the team. He didn't want to discourage proactive thinking but hoped to channel it into a more coordinated approach. Unfortunately, there was nothing that he could do to reach both things…

"The monster can be seen now. It looks like a giant cat," Annie said while ignoring the weird mood. "It is even weird the fact that stll glows after it was killed."

"The fur is filled with crystals, and since it is white as well, it is no wonder it can emit so much light from the surroundings," Danny said after he approached the corpses. "Still, it seems that they aren't that durable since a single attack killed them. We can't use their fur."

"Maybe people in the future will wear clothes that are completely white and emit a lot of light as well," Rain said. "Anyway, the number of monsters is low now, so let's use this chance to move faster. You are fine with that, right, Sealyn? Just don't act impulsively again."

"Even though I know that my power could kill them instantly?" Sealyn furrowed her eyebrows.

"It might be enough against these creatures, but others might be able to counter it, or reflect in the worst-case scenario," Rain said. "Besides, water attacks isn't the best option in an environment like this."

Sealyn, despite her initial frustration and confusion regarding Rain's cautious advice, believed that adversaries capable of reflecting attacks would likely not need to hide themselves. However, an unexpected realization soon dawned upon her, changing her perspective.

As she examined the aftermath of her water spear attacks, expecting to find remnants or signs of water where the projectiles had landed, she was taken aback to discover no traces of moisture whatsoever. Initially puzzled by the absence of any evidence of her water-based assault, it slowly dawned on her that the intense radiant light within the environment did that.

The radiant light acted as an accelerant, rapidly evaporating the water from her spears almost instantly upon impact, leaving no discernible traces behind… It was a lesson in adapting her powers to diverse environments and considering unforeseen consequences brought about by the surroundings.
