Chapter 1532: Showing

After Sealyn was frozen by her own attack, Terra immediately approached and used her magic to cancel the ice and then heal her...

"Wow, that hurt... I didn’t think that I could actually feel pain like this," Nigel suddenly said.

"What were you thinking?" Seara asked.

"We need to stop the enemy from using their powers... it side of the dice must be a different power," Sealyn explained. "I didn’t expect that this guy would have such a perfect counter."

Few people heard Sealyn’s explanations since most of them were busy with the giant trees, but the ones who listened to it could tell that she had a point... the enemy had more one than one hundred sides on that dice, so it meant that Fortus had more than one hundred skills on pair with the reflective shield that completely blocked Sealyn’s attacks... trying to overpower the machine god like that wouldn’t end well.

While they were thinking about that, Fortus began to spin again, and when he stopped moving, he began to emit a weird sound in the area. It felt like a muffled sound... before long, everyone began to feel their bodies getting heavier.

"Gravity magic... great," Sakaki said. "I feel like I am starting to understand how Fortus operates."

Fortus operated in a manner that transcended mere physicality. His body was not just a vessel for combat but a complex computing machine, constantly analyzing and calculating various factors to optimize his chances of success in battle.

With each movement, Fortus processed a myriad of data points, determining the most advantageous positions from which to engage his enemies, as well as the most effective techniques to employ in sequence. Every action he took was meticulously calculated, with the singular goal of eliminating all those who dared to oppose him.

His computational prowess allowed him to adapt and strategize on the fly, adjusting his tactics in real-time based on the battlefield’s ever-changing dynamics. No detail escaped his eyes, and no opportunity for advantage went unnoticed.

"We are in a race against time here," Danny said while he activated Limit Breaker. "We can fight this effect for a while, but the enemy won’t stop with this only."

"We have one hundred thousand heads here, I am sure we can outsmart him," Annie said. "Right?

Everyone looking at each other, unsure about that... Rain was the one who usually would do that kind of thing, but in the end, they soon shook those thoughts out of their minds... they couldn’t let Rain carry any more weight. He resisted an inferno of fire to buy them time to get stronger and it was time to prove that he didn’t waste time doing that.

"We might not be able to outsmart him, but we can still overpower him," Seadrei said.

"Isn’t that the other way around?" Seara frowned.

"Oh... I get it," Roan said and then nodded. "Separate into groups of ten and face those giant trees with those groups! The others that don’t have targets choose one of us to follow!"

"Did I miss something?" Jori asked.

"We don’t have time to waste... just copy them," Reca said.

As Roan issued the orders, the rest of the group fell into formation, their movements coordinated and precise. Only Roan and Seadrei knew the details of their plan, knowing that revealing their strategy could tip off the enemy and jeopardize their chances of success.

With silent determination, they followed Roan’s words, trusting in his leadership and expertise. Each member of the group played their part. Meanwhile, Fortus continued his moves, seemingly indifferent to the actions of his adversaries. As he completed another spinning maneuver, the atmosphere around them grew increasingly oppressive, the air becoming stale and suffocating.

The effects of Fortus’s attack were palpable, with some members of the group beginning to show signs of distress. Nosebleeds and dizziness spread among them...

"It is time to show the results of your training!" Roan shouted.

"Show to the enemy now that we are here to claim our freedom and our right to leave in peace!" Seadrei added.

When those closest to them heard that, they soon connected the dots... that was a bold move, and it could be disastrous, but it was the best weapon that they had at their disposal.

"Show to the enemy what you are made of!" Sealyn shouted.

In the next moment, everyone raised their weapons and then the air began to crack with energy. They activated Limit Breaker and then their auras began to vibrate around them. At that moment, and with a slight blink of an eye, Fortus stopped spinning but soon resumed his actions.

Fortus was surprised at the sudden spike of power of his targets, but soon he adjusted his strategy. Still, he was caught off guard when everyone used the Origin Strike.

Dozens of thousands of the attacks were launched at the enemy. As one would expect, Fortus not only blocked, but he reflected hundreds of them instantly. Everyone’s arms bent to an unnatural position, and then they grunted in pain for a moment, but they didn’t drop their weapons.

When they looked at the enemy once again they saw the attacks being reflected... but soon one of the sides of the enemy broke and then another and then another. Even Fortus couldn’t use that high level technique every millisecond.

In the end, of dozens of thousands of attacks, only ten of them landed on the enemy, but they not only broke the sides of the target, but also forced Fortus to stop spinning for a moment... even without a face, it was clear that he was shocked.

"Hehe, we showed him who is the boss here..." Terra said. "So, why does this hurt so much?"

Only a few lucky individuals didn’t break their arms... at that rate, it would take a while before the enemy would lose their weapons... it will be more convenient if they can break the side that can create the reflected barrier.
