Chapter 1484: Update

The information path was updated.

Lvl 35: Information Visualization - Creates visual representations of data through graphs, charts, and interactive interfaces, enhancing comprehension and decision-making. You can see the data about an opponent after directly or indirectly analyzing the result of their actions.

The information path was updated.

Lvl 40: Information Manipulation - Manipulates data structures and algorithms to achieve desired outcomes, optimizing processes, and workflows through data-driven interventions. You can create and edit objects with the information that you want. Higher levels increase more control over this skill.

Rain’s body shook almost uncontrollably while he obtained all that information in a single moment. The enemy used different skills to create those copies, so that was why Rain was able to learn those skills. Regardless, the bodies of the copies began to fall apart as pixels, and the lords assumed a round formation around him and waited for the enemy to make his move. While Rain recovered first, it seemed that he wasn’t fine... his nose, his eyes, and his ears were bleeding. His head was turning red thanks to the effort that his brain endured... with each heartbeat, Rain felt like someone was trying to cleave his head with a giant ax.

"You are killing yourself, making your brain act like a super powerful processor. You can’t assimilate thousands of years of data like that."

"Oh, yeah? Watch me, then," Rain said. "Use more of your bullshit tactics, and I will be sure to defeat you using your stupid tricks in a much smarter way."

As Rais observed the battle between Rain and the entity unfolding, he remained silent for a prolonged moment, his impassive demeanor betraying little of his thoughts or intentions. While he had initially harbored minimal expectations for Rain’s performance, he gradually became more intrigued by the confrontation unfolding before him.

In Rain, Rais perceived a glimmer of potential, a spark of strength and resilience that reminded him of the formidable adversaries he had faced in the past, such as the dragon god. It was a rare quality, one that piqued Rais’s interest and stirred a desire to learn more about this enigmatic individual.

For Rais, the pursuit of knowledge was an insatiable thirst, a driving force that compelled him to seek out and understand the mysteries of the world around him. And in Rain, he saw an opportunity to uncover new insights into the nature of strength, resilience, and the limits of human potential.

As the battle raged on, Rais’ interest in Rain’s abilities only grew, each exchange of blows revealing new facets of his strength and skill. While he remained outwardly impassive, inwardly, Rais’s mind buzzed with anticipation, eager to unravel the secrets that lay hidden within this seemingly ordinary warrior.

In the next moment, a digital-looking light scanned the body of the lords, and they gulped as they felt shivers run down their spine... they didn’t like the magic of the machine gods at all. It didn’t matter what their intentions were, anyone could tell that it was no good... ƒreeωebnovel.ƈom

Before long, Rain began to digitalize copies of each one of the lords... when they saw those copies in front of them, they gulped... fighting those things would be difficult since the enemies certainly gave the copies some nasty skills to counter their fighting styles... However, all of a sudden, a dark barrage of water droplets hit each one of the copies and completely ripped them apart to shreds... making their bodies eventually dissipate into particles.

...

"Are you done messing around?" Rain asked. "I don’t have all day to deal with you. There are other four machine gods that need to be dealt with."

"It appears that your mouth is as big as your arrogance. It is quite foolish to get this conceited after defeating the weakest of our group. Very well, I will treat you a bit more seriously."

After those words, the very fabric of the surrounding environment began to tremble and quake with increasing intensity. Suddenly, with a deafening roar, the ground, ceiling, and walls began to split apart, their surfaces morphing and reshaping into colossal cubes of gleaming silver metal.

Each cube towered ominously above, casting long shadows across the battlefield. And as Rain looked on in awe and apprehension, they noticed that each cube bore distinct features upon its sides, hinting at the mysteries that lay within.

On one side of each cube, a polished mirror shimmered in the dim light, eerie-clearly reflecting the chaotic scene unfolding before it. Across from the mirror, a menacing cannon protruded from the metal surface, its dark barrel trained ominously upon the battlefield below.

On the other side, strange quadrangular marks etched themselves into the metal, their significance unclear but undeniably intriguing. Adjacent to the marks, a shimmering pool of liquid mercury flowed and undulated, its movements hypnotic and enigmatic.

Yet another side of each cube remained shrouded in darkness, a void of inky blackness that seemed to swallow the light around it. And finally, on the last side, a single symbol—a question mark—hung in the air, its meaning veiled in uncertainty and mystery.

"Handle this, and I will face you myself."

"It was about damn time," Rain said and then shrugged.

Although Rain sounded confident, he had no idea what he should do... that kind of challenge was too different than anything that he had experienced before. The cubes were numerous, perhaps were close to hundreds of thousands if no more and they began to fly around in circles as if they were trying to study him...

All of a sudden, the sound of a mana cannon being used echoed in the area, but no one saw the attacks... However, a large explosion happened in the place where Rain was... or was supposed to be. He suddenly appeared above the area and then saw the air cracking with energy. That wasn’t all...
