Infinite Paths: The Raging Phoenix-Chapter 1469: Endless possibilities
Chapter 1469: Endless possibilities
Rain’s mind buzzed with a bunch of ideas for artifacts, each one a testament to his creativity and ingenuity. The possibilities seemed endless as he considered the combinations of skills and effects that could be put together to create powerful and versatile tools. However, amidst the sea of potential artifacts, one goal stood out above all others: the quest to increase his access to mana to unprecedented levels.
Mana was the lifeblood of his magic, the source from which he drew power to fuel his spells and abilities. With greater access to mana, Rain knew that he could unleash even more devastating attacks and push the boundaries of his abilities to new heights. But it wasn’t just about raw power. It was also about efficiency and sustainability. Rain wanted to reach a point where he could recover all of his mana in a matter of seconds, allowing him to maintain a relentless onslaught of magic without ever running dry.
It was a difficult goal, to be sure, but Rain was focused. He knew that with enough determination and perseverance, anything was possible. He had already overcome countless challenges in his journey thus far, and this would be no different. With each passing day, he delved deeper into his studies, exploring ancient texts and arcane rituals in search of the secrets of mana manipulation.
"Most of the ideas are of tools that will be useful in combat, but it would be easy to destroy them, and the enemies would realize their effects too," Rain rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "It is better not to rely on those... but this idea might work. One at a time."
Rain’s first idea was to create a relic like the stomp the machine gods used to completely empty Earth. Doing the same in their territories would be pretty fun... However, he changed his mind.
After Rain was done with the preparations, he could tell that his mana regeneration had increased a bit... it wasn’t by a large amount, but as he kept preparing over time, the difference would pile up and eventually become massive. Those kinds of small victories pile up and eventually make all the difference.
"What did you do exactly?" Elisabetha asked. "I can tell that you are recovering mana faster, but you just teleported around for no apparent reason."
"If you think like that, then I succeeded," Rain said. "For now, it is better if you don’t know what I am doing."
Lvl 60: Mana Resonance - Establishes harmonious resonance between crafted materials and ambient mana flows, enabling passive augmentation and refinement of abilities. Increases the effects of the relics by ten percent per level on ambients that affect them positively. ƒreeωebnovel.ƈom
Lvl 65: Mana Transfiguration - Mastery over the alteration of physical properties and states of matter, allowing for instantaneous transformation and adaptation in various situations.
Lvl 70: Mana Embodiment - Infuses crafted materials with sentient mana consciousness, granting them autonomy and intelligence to act independently or in coordination with the practitioner. Increases the learning speed of the artificial intelligence by ten percent per level.
Rain’s progress was slowly taking shape, but Elisabetha still felt like he was just wasting his time teleporting around... asking for more details was annoying since it felt like he was testing her to come up with an explanation of what he was truly doing. Still, she decided to stay quiet since she had some ideas of her own and an idea for Rain that would make him much more effective against the machine gods... but it was a difficult thing to do. Bringing it up was difficult as well.
Lvl 75: Mana Dispersion - Dissipates conjured materials into dispersed mana particles, enabling rapid deployment and reformation of constructs as needed.
Lvl 80: Mana Fusion Forge - Unlocks the ability to merge multiple mana-infused materials into singular, synergistic creations of unparalleled power and versatility. Increases the number of artifacts combined according to the level of the skill divided by ten.
Lvl 85: Mana Ascendance - Attainment of transcendental mastery over mana manipulation, transcending the limitations of conventional material transmutation and unlocking boundless creative potential.
Lvl 90: Mana Genesis - Initiation of the genesis process, where mana itself is shaped and harnessed to create entirely new substances and phenomena, limited only by the practitioner’s imagination and skill.
Lvl 95: Mana Nexus - Establishment of a personal nexus of mana convergence, serving as a focal point for the practitioner’s vast power and facilitating unparalleled feats of material transmutation and manipulation.
Lvl 100: Mana Mastery - Attainment of absolute mastery over the Matterweave Path, where the practitioner becomes a living embodiment of mana’s creative force, capable of reshaping reality itself with but a thought.
"All right, it is two days earlier, but I should inform everyone of the skills that I obtained," Rain thought. "After this, I guess it will be hard to keep things hidden from everyone. They need to know about the actions of the dragon god."
That could demoralize the group, but it had to be done... nothing really good can come out of half-truths or lies. If they wanted to work as a group that would watch each other backs, then they had to be completely honest with each other.
Before long, everyone who led the four factions of the group was teleported to Rain’s pocket dimension, and soon, he explained the skills of the matter path aspect.
"This is very different from what we were waiting for, huh?" Branden said while furrowing his eyebrows in confusion. "It seems that Ateros reached the limits of the matter aspect pretty soon and decided to focus on something else."
"How can those skills benefit us, Rain?" Esmeralda asked.
"We can basically create anything that we want, but there are too many people here for me to make things for everyone," Rain explained. "Once they are done with this training, I will try to see if they can learn some skills of the matter path. With the basic ones, they can create weapons and gear out of any material they want."
