In Naruto: Reborn with a Chat Group-Chapter 180: ANNOUNCEMENT
Chapter 180 - ANNOUNCEMENT
Hey, everyone... I honestly didn't think I'd have to make two announcements in one day.
But... here we are.
First of all, I want to explain why I don't share the OG or raw name.
The reason is actually really simple.
If I mention the raw name, there will always be a few people who'll copy it and use it to report the book. freewёbn૦νeɭ.com
And when reports happen, the book ends up getting deleted, just like what happened to the cover.
So tell me... what should I do in that situation?
If the book gets deleted early on, it's okay.
I can just reupload it. But what if the book already has over 100, 200 or 300 Chapters?
Even if I do reupload, it'll never reach all the original readers again. It'll just die.
And that's a huge waste of time, effort, and love.
There have actually been a few translations that got nuked, and in their reuploads, the translators didn't mention the raw name.
So, I'm just being extra cautious because I really don't want the same thing to happen here.
Secondly, yes, I do delete comments and spam reviews sometimes, especially those mentioning the raw name, random 1-star spam, low star reviews without a proper explanation and things like that.
I remove comments mainly to try and create the best reading environment I possibly can.
I think we can all agree... one of the biggest reasons this chat group worked so well was because of the funny paragraph comments, right?
As for the reviews... I'm sure you can understand since I already explained.
I know it's wrong. I get it. I really do.
I would be upset too if my comments or reviews were deleted.
Now, the main reason I'm even making this announcement is because of two people.

As you can see in Picture 1, Haku kept spamming "R-18, R-18" under reviews. So, I deleted them because... it was spam.
Then in Picture 2, CRUZEN replied to him... and honestly, did you all read what he said? It's... it's kind of funny in a sad way.
I thought it was common knowledge that Chinese fanfics and novels don't include sex scenes.
But the part that really got to me is... just a few hours ago, I made an announcement saying I removed the CP-related content.
I don't know what he was implying when he said I "cut off" those scenes.
Just... take a look at these images.

I'm not sure why Cruzen deleted his first comment just minutes after posting it, but the second one is still up.
Now, did I add the R-18 tag for clickbait? And what does R-18 tag even mean?
First of all, No. I didn't add it for clickbait.
Just... no.
The real reason I used that tag is because of all the excessive gay jokes that sometimes had sexual undertones.
And R-18 can cover a lot of things, this should be common knowledge, right? right!?
If it were purely sex scenes, I would have just used the "smut" tag.
I'm saying this because I've written two original books on this platform before, and both had sex scenes.
Anyone who read the Tsunade fanfic can vouch that I can write smut. So if I had used the smut tag without any actual sex scenes, it would have been clickbait.
Now tell me... how was I supposed to know that this "Haku" person would immediately jump to conclusions just from the R-18 tag?
He left a one-star review saying "R-18 clickbait" just hours after I made the announcement about removing the CP content.
Honestly, I was flabbergasted when I saw it. It was around 12 PM here, and I was feeling sleepy, so I just deleted it.
And Cruzen... I honestly don't know what to say. I don't even know where I offended you.
If it's because I removed the CP... then there's nothing I can do. I don't want to believe that's the reason, but it's the only thing that makes sense right now.
If your goal was to make me respond, then yes, you've succeeded.
But still... you've been an old reader with nearly 8,000 comments on the platform, how could you not know that Chinese fanfics don't even include sex scenes?
And when... when did I ever say I removed sex scenes?
I clearly said I cut out content involving child photography. That's it.
So why... why twist that into something it's not? Why spread something so damaging when the truth was right there?
Sigh.
And, I never shied away from mentioning this is a translation. If my only goal was to make money, I would've just used ChatGPT to translate 10–15 stories and pumped out 5–6 Chapters a day for each.
For the Chat Group, I literally changed the humor from Chinese to English and added over 30,000 words myself. I never even mentioned that anywhere.
For the Tsunade fic, I rewrote a lot of the romance scenes and wrote 8 smut Chapters, more than 10,000 words in total.
In the new fanfic, the MC literally has 3 different names. I think that says enough.
I edit each Chapter twice after translating it through software.
I genuinely tried to be sincere with all this.
To be honest with you all, I could've just ignored this whole thing, like many others do on this platform.
But this time... I felt like it was better to just be honest. To come clean.
Because... it's not worth hiding anymore.
And if I kept quiet, this whole incident could have shattered the positive, beautiful little space we all created together.
I already deleted their spam messages because I know some of you might go and argue with them.
I didn't want you to waste your time or stress over something like that. That was never the goal when I decided to pick up this fanfic.

So... if I've let you down, if I've made you angry or disappointed you... I'm truly, deeply sorry.
Thank you for reading this.
