Chapter 51: New Findings

Arc 2, Chapter 51—New Findings

.

.

After choosing their respective bedrooms and beds, everyone went out to tour their new home.

Where were the bathrooms?

After opening their wardrobes, they all found simple instructions telling them to head to the storage units.

Suddenly they felt like they were on a scavenger hunt, with everyone thinking the same thing.

"Storage units? What do you think is in there? I hope a Toothbrush!"

"Not sure," Levon shook his head wryly, "If I have to guess, I’d say our uniforms and daily essentials."

"I think so too."

Shugo, Artilla, and Levon continued their exploration in discussion.

Many others also began exploring in groups or alone.

Like tiny specs of dirt, they appeared in all corners of their new home finding out what places were unlocked and locked.

Once again, everyone was shaken by how insanely huge this ’dormitory’ was.

That was the truth, wasn’t it?

No matter how big it was, its primary purpose was to serve as their permanent sleeping quarters.

The incredibly soaring high ceilings on each floor, created a sense of openness, elegance, and beauty amplification.

Can you feel it?

This must be what it feels to be royalty.

The elegance, the chandeliers, the checkered marble floors, the aristocratic artifacts all seemed to invite imaginative thoughts in their minds.

Can it be that the Order values them so much that it’s letting them stay in such a place just like that?

Or can it be that this much wealth was nothing in the eyes of those in higher ranks?

Many continued exploration deep in thought.

As for Levon’s gang, they spotted the bathrooms, which were like massive bathhouses and hot springs.

It was good to know that even now, boy and girl baths were divided.

One peek in, and they could see that the entire place was steamy and hot.

The first floor or they should say, the ground floor, had practically everything they needed.

There were countless indoor training sites, probably built to withstand the might of their supernatural abilities.

Soon, they reached a massive Plaque above a metal door.

[Locker Room]

"Great! We finally found it! How can there be so much walking around in a single building?"

Shugo felt sympathy for his poor feet. Why was everything so far apart?

Just going to the bathrooms felt like you were going to visit a neighbor 5 houses away.

It was great that they were living in luxury, but can you not make everything closer for convenience?

Passing through the Locker’s rooms doors, they were taken aback.

"It looks like we’re not the first to arrive."

Several people were already here.

"It’s more spacious than I thought," Artilla muttered, comparing it to the locker room in ordinary schools.

Where is the comparison?

Each locker resembled a phone booth in Artilla’s opinion. Except, imagine if 4 Phone booths were joined together to form one.

A person could probably sleep somewhat comfortably in their locker.

As for how many individual booths stared them in the face, Artilla felt it was an army of booths.

There were probably 3000 of these lockers strategically lined up in uncountable rows and columns.

Looking left, they could see columns for as far as the eyes could stretch. The same was true when looking right.

These lockers stood in place, like an immortal army waiting for orders from their general.

.

.

What a site!

One should call this the Locker Room of The Immortal!

The trio opened and closed their mouths, shock still evident on their faces.

It was equally impressive to know that these lockers were not tightly placed close to one another.

Each booth was separated from the next booth by approximately 4 meters.

Shugo chewed on the poisonous bubblegum in his mouth, finding it all too jarring.

"Even the rich don’t live like this. Look at the first few lockers—" Shugo gestured. "There are names on them, not room numbers."

So does this mean they must find their names from the thousands?

Artilla frowned. "Look closely, the names aren’t alphabetical."

Levon nodded. "They seemed to be randomly placed."

How complicated.

At least Alphabetically, they can just go down the bath till they reach the first letter of their names.

But if it’s random, then it’s forcing them to take a closer look at every locker.

Nevertheless, no matter the problem, one must always rely on logic to see it through.

With a tactful nod, Levon moved left while Shugo moved right. fгee𝑤ebɳoveɭ.cøm

"5!" They both stated.

Just like the rooms, a majority of lockers should be sealed.

Soon, they reunited with Artilla at the center, and everyone’s brains quickly went to work.

"From the main entrance, there are only 10 names written on the first column. The other lockers have no names."

"This means we only have to look at the first 10 lockers on each column to find our names."

"We’re 153 of them in total. Doing the math, we need to go down 15.3—"

"Let’s just round up to 16, since the remaining 3 should be in the 16th column."

"Yeah."

With that, it was time to find their names.

Artilla found her locker in the 5th column, Levon found his in the 11th column, and Shugo’s was in the 9th column.

In the end, all problems have solutions, no?

.

.

Observing his locker handle, Levon saw it coated with a strange slimy goo.

AH!

An initial electric shock jerked his hand away momentarily.

Hm?

[Personal assessed and Confirmation met— Levon Belmont]

Levon didn’t know how it confirmed his identity, but it did.

Then, the door opened.

Stepping in, the space was simple.

There was a single wooden stool in a corner, and a lot of locker space from top to bottom in all directions.

He had 4 spare uniforms, all black with no colored linings.

There were Boots, pajamas, underwear, pens, paper, bandages, and a few basic weapons.

Jerking his head upwards, he also spotted a hefty supply of his favorite strawberry lollipops placed in 10 massive glass jars.

They actually brought in a generous supply to calm his addiction.

"Good..."

Looking a bit more, Levon spotted a small foldable table attached to the wall—on it, a unique emerald pendant.

He reached out to it without hesitation.

However, what happened next was something that Left Levon with even more unfathomable questions!
