I Will Survive Till The End: Blood Extermination Academy-Chapter 49: Into The Mansion, We Go.
Chapter 49: Into The Mansion, We Go.
Arc 2, Chapter 49 — Into The Mansion, We Go.
.
.
Home sweet Home?
Looking left and right, everyone observed the estate’s surroundings.
Only when inside the estate, does one truly understand how massive it all was.
It’s insane when you can’t even see the end of the building from the left or right side.
As for the plants and many peculiar outdoor sightings, it didn’t seem so strange to them, seeing as they’ve seen stranger things during the examinations.
Everyone shrugged, soon reaching the mansion’s entrance.
They noticed that unlike the gates, this one could be opened normally.
Wow~
"Now we’re really swimming in money."
The elegant architectural designs many the eyes of many turn into bills of money.
The entrance space was vast with 2 main stairways leading to the 2nd floor and the other upper floors.
The ground was lined with crystal checked tiles, black and white.
Levon looked up, only to spot the biggest chandelier he had ever seen, hanging several feet high.
Well, the space was an open one.
Those on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th could stare down into the space below.
The building had just 4 stories, but its double ceilings on each floor made it feel like it was 8 stories tall.
Looking around, Levon also noticed a line up of smaller chandeliers scattered about.
But directly underneath the Massive chandelier, was an equally massive indoor fountain on the main entrance floor.
"This is insane!"
Many felt they were in a Grand palace.
Looking left and right, all they could see was a spread of space in both directions.
Will they have time to explore it all?
"Here are the rules," Clara disrupted their thoughts while still standing at the doors.
"Rule Number 1: No infighting within the building."
In other words, if they have any discrepancies, they need to take it outside.
"Number 2: Lights out is at 11. Meaning, you must all be asleep at 11 PM."
"That’s it."
Clara gave a mysterious grin while slowly closing the doors behind them.
"Night-night, Bloodrens..."
The word to the wise was enough.
BAM!~
The door shut, and absolute silence followed through for another few seconds.
"She’s gone."
In other words, they have the place all to themselves.
Many began to stretch on the spot.
"Well, now that that’s over, I need a bath..." Yimu muttered. "But not without picking a room first."
Yeah!
Everyone’s eyes lit up like stars.
They all need to pick their rooms. So what are they waiting for?
Ascending the grand stairway closest to them, They stopped on the second floor.
Right in front of them was another open path with stairways leading to the 3rd floor. Unlike the stairways leading up to the 2nd floor, these ones spiral to the 3rd and 4th floors.
Standing on the 2nd floor, everyone paused for a few seconds, deep in thought.
To the left were rooms, and to the right, were also rooms.
Soon, exploration began.
"Hey, check it out. Only 10 doors are open on the left."
"The right side has 10 doors open too. The other doors are shut tight."
"If it’s like this on the 2nd floor, it should also be the same on the 3rd floor."
"In other words, we can only sleep in the rooms they opened?"
Already, their minds spun with calculations.
A burning sensation of anticipation clogged up in their chests the more they thought of their sleeping arrangements.
"The rooms here are dormitory rooms. I see 4 beds in this one." Someone continued.
"Hey! I see 4 in this one too. We’re 153 right?" Added another on the opposite side.
"Yeah. 153."
"Great. Now looking at this second floor, it has 18 rooms with 4 beds in each room."
"Doesn’t that mean 80 people will have to sleep on this floor.... 36 on the left and 36 on the right."
80! It’s more than half the group’s population!
So if half stay on just this floor, it means...
"The higher we ascend, the grander the room will be."
That’s it.
Everyone recalled the spaces between the doors on the 3rd and 4th floors, realizing they were more spread out compared to the room doors on the 2nd floor that looked cramped.
This was segregation at its finest.
—And Now, the only question they had was: Who’s going to take the rooms on the top floors.
.
.
Who stays on this cramped floor and who goes up?
The atmosphere changed, as everyone now felt disgusted with the 2nd floor.
The rooms were actually magnificent to say the least.
When placed below an obviously better option, one cant help but look down on these 2nd floor rooms.
"Move outta the way! I’m going up!"
Already, several people wanted to go head to head with each other.
Who doesn’t want to live comfortably?
Victorio and his goons chuckled, slowly making their way to the 4th floor.
Many grumbled, yet no one stopped them.
When thinking of the Shard grades they had, how dare any of them make a move?
Payne Ignier and Hendrix also moved to the 4th floor accompanied by a few others.
Floriana, Rita and Yimu moved to the 4th floor, finding a room with 3 beds in it.
However, the room was so huge and massive that you would think it was a home on its own.
The 3 girls smirked arrogantly.
It was just right.... They felt more comfortable having a dormitory room to themselves.
Levon squinted his eyes, staring at the rooms above.
"Arty, go." Levon paused, gesturing at the few girls heading to rooms on the 4th floor. "Go with them."
It’s best Artilla lives in a female dormitory.
Despite no true distinction existing between genders when it comes to strength, he still believed the girls should live together, and boys on their own.
"Bye..."
Artilla nodded, stepping into one of the rooms filled with females.
Soon, the 4th room was filled up... with only 2 doors on each side opened, giving a total of 4 rooms on the 4th floor.
Surprisingly, Artilla’s room was a 4 bedroom unit, filled with girls.
2 seemed to know each other, and one didn’t. With Artilla now, they made 4.
Good...
Artilla found her new Home.
