The Love Link Container.

It looked like a shipping container—only much bigger.

"Uh… what exactly is this, Pres?" Nagisa asked, her brows furrowing in confusion.

This was the first time she had seen something like this, and she could hardly believe Yuuna had even thought of having something like this made. Even Hina and Kouhei looked equally perplexed. None of them had any clue what this thing actually was.

"How about we step inside and find out?" Yuuna suggested.

With that, Shizue took a step forward and pressed a sequence of numbers into a keypad embedded in the container's side. A sharp beep rang out, followed by a metallic hiss as the massive door unlocked. She grabbed the heavy metal handle and, with zero effort, pulled it open. The grinding screech of steel scraping against steel echoed around them as the door swung wide, revealing the interior.

Kouhei and the others followed her inside.

At first glance, the interior wasn't all that special. It looked like a normal shipping container—just an empty, metallic space. But then, their eyes landed on the bed. A massive bed, right in the center of the room. The walls were pure white, almost unnaturally clean, and despite the container's exterior size, the inside felt… bigger. Way bigger than it should've been.

"Even the spatial expansion is perfect." Yuuna ran her fingers along the smooth wall, impressed. "I seriously can't believe you pulled all this off in less than a month. I guess I've been underestimating your skills, Shizue."

Shizue grinned, her lips stretching into a smug smile. "Heh. About time you realized that."

"Wow… This is something else…" Nagisa muttered, still in disbelief. She glanced around, taking in the unnatural spaciousness, before her gaze finally settled on the bed. Her eye twitched. "But wait. What the hell is a bed doing right there?"

Shizue's smirk widened, but before she could respond, Hina let out a small hum of understanding.

"I'm guessing this container is meant for performing a Love Link. The name kinda gives it away," Hina remarked.

"You got it." Yuuna nodded. "This place is specifically designed for us to perform a Love Link whenever we need to fight." Her expression turned serious. "The idea came to me after Nagisa and Kouhei-kun did a Love Link during the battle against that Corrupted one. This is a far more efficient solution."

She turned to Kouhei, her eyes sharp and unwavering.

"The power boost from a Love Link has a time limit. If the battlefield is too far away, the effect might wear off before we even get there. And frankly, I don't like the idea of putting Kouhei in unnecessary danger just because of logistics. That's why I had Shizue build this."

It was a simple but effective solution. With this container, they could initiate a Love Link before heading into battle. Then, the whole thing—container and all—could be teleported directly to the fight. No wasted time, no risk of losing the power boost mid-way.

Teleportation magic could be used for long-distance travel, but it wasn't exactly ideal.

For one, it required setting up a teleportation circle—a process that took at least an hour. Not only that, but teleportation required two linked circles: one to enter and one to exit. That meant they'd have to leave an open circle somewhere near the battlefield, which was a massive security risk. If an enemy found it, they could use it to teleport straight into their base. That would put Kouhei in serious danger.

Not to mention, teleportation magic consumed mana—and the longer the distance, the more mana it drained. It wasn't exactly something they could afford to spam.

This method, however, solved all of those problems. No wasted mana, no security risks, and most importantly… Yuuna could be absolutely sure that Kouhei was safe with them.

"So... you're basically saying we could use this in the battlefield... and have sex with Kou-kun to perform a Love Link?" Nagisa asked, raising a brow.

"S-Sex? Is that how the Love Link works?" Shizue's eyes widened in shock. This was the first time she'd heard exactly how it was performed. "S-So that's why President put a bed here... and all of those other things..."

"Other things? What do you mean?" Nagisa asked, narrowing her eyes.

Shizue hesitated, her lips parting slightly, but before she could answer, Yuuna swiftly covered her mouth with a hand.

"That's a secret for them to find out later, Shizue." Yuuna smiled sweetly—too sweetly. "We wouldn't want to ruin the surprise."

A shiver ran down Shizue's spine. She knew exactly what that smile meant. Instantly, she folded, nodding her head multiple times in submission.

"But wait," Nagisa frowned. "Isn't this just putting Kou-kun in more danger? You're literally bringing him straight into the battlefield. That's way riskier than just leaving him at a safe distance."

She had a point. Dropping Kouhei into a war zone just to perform a Love Link sounded more like an unnecessary risk rather than an advantage.

Shizue, however, smirked. "Fufufu. Which is why President also added this to the setup." She picked up a sleek tablet from a nearby control panel and pressed something on the screen.

Immediately, a shimmering dome formed around the container, radiating a soft, almost ethereal glow.

Nagisa's eyes widened. "A barrier?"

"Not just any barrier," Yuuna corrected, her voice laced with confidence. "A powerful one." She gestured toward the door. "Let's step outside and see if we can break it."

Shizue deactivated the barrier momentarily, allowing everyone to exit. Once they were outside, she reactivated it again, enclosing the container in its protective dome.

"Try punching it as hard as you can, Nagisa," Yuuna instructed.

"Fine by me."

Nagisa cracked her knuckles before stepping back about twenty feet, giving herself enough distance to gain momentum. Then, with full force, she launched herself forward, fist aimed straight at the barrier—

Thud!

The impact was completely absorbed. The barrier didn't even ripple, let alone crack. Instead, Nagisa herself took the damage.

"Owwwwch—! That thing's hard…" She winced, shaking her throbbing hand.

Yuuna smirked. "Alright, so physical damage is useless. Let's try magic."

This time, Hina stepped forward. A swirling black mass gathered in her palm, devouring the light around it. The energy pulsed with raw destructive force, its presence alone sending a shiver through the air.

Without hesitation, she hurled the dark sphere straight at the barrier. The moment it hit, a violent shockwave erupted outward, the magic attempting to tear through the dome. At first, it seemed to leave a dent, but as soon as the dark energy dispersed, the barrier stood just as pristine as before.

Hina smirked. "Now that's impressive."

Yuuna stepped forward. "I guess it's my turn."

Among everyone in her faction, she had by far the highest firepower. If anyone could break this thing, it would be her. And yet, even she wasn't sure if her attacks could do the job.

Which meant…

She'd have to go all out.

"Crimson Dance."

Raising a hand, she summoned countless crimson nails made of blood. They hovered in the air, glistening under the light. The ceiling of the testing site was high enough that the sheer number of projectiles wasn't an issue.

Then—she swung her arm down.

The nails shot forward, streaking through the air like a rain of death, each one carrying lethal force as they pelted the barrier in rapid succession. The sound of impact echoed as they crashed into the invisible shield.

When the dust settled, Yuuna narrowed her eyes.

A single crack had formed. Just one.

Even with an attack that could tear through most defenses, she had barely managed to scratch it.

"…Looks like it's almost impenetrable," she muttered, lowering her hand.

With the defense test complete, Shizue deactivated the barrier and allowed everyone back inside.

"So? Pretty good, right?" she said, grinning. "Even my Rocket Launcher barely made a dent in it. This thing's insanely powerful."

"It's more than just impressive," Yuuna admitted. She turned to Kouhei, curiosity flashing in her eyes. "Kouhei-kun, did you feel anything while you were in here?"

The sheer power behind their attacks had been insane. Even outside the container, they had felt the shockwaves rattling through the air. If it was that intense out there, then inside… surely, Kouhei must have felt something.

But he simply shook his head.

"I didn't… actually," he replied.

Yuuna's heart thrilled with excitement—the kind she had never felt before. The Love Link Container might just be the greatest thing she had ever thought of.

"Now then," she murmured, a smirk playing on her lips. "Shizue, open the barrier again."

With a simple tap of her fingers, Shizue reactivated the dome.

Yuuna released a pulse of mana, sending it flooding into the barrier. Immediately, the cracks from their earlier attacks repaired themselves before their eyes, the barrier knitting back together as if it had never been damaged at all.

"This barrier is near indestructible," Yuuna said with satisfaction. "And as long as it keeps getting fed mana, it'll continuously regenerate."

For the first time, she felt like she could actually take on the Souchirou Faction with this. Getting a big head this early in the game was bad luck, but after witnessing this, she just couldn't help herself.

And now that the preliminary testing was done…

It was time for the real test.

"Now then," Yuuna's eyes gleamed. "Shall we put it to use and perform a Love Link?"
