I Am the Only Fertile Woman in the Game-Chapter 92: Asura Field (Part 2)
But Ruka simply pointed to Ah Yao beside him and asked, "Truth or dare?"
"Dare," said Ah Yao.
"Dance for us."
Leberli frowned, thinking what a waste of a good opportunity. In fact, Ruka was reluctant to ask questions that would tense up the atmosphere, fearing that it might spoil Qiao Suisui's mood, which had been hard to lighten.
Ah Yao, with his honest face, nodded and then, supported by the fridge, performed an enchanting pole dance. The scene was so beautiful it made a few of the men feel nauseous. Qiao Suisui, excited, covered her eyes and screamed, forming a cheer group with Gai Meilun to support Ah Yao.
After the dance, Ah Yao felt hungry again, so he took his bowl and continued eating. Ruka watched Qiao Suisui laughing until she was nearly in tears, his eyes also filled with amusement.
"Do you want to take a spin?" he asked Suisui.
Qiao Suisui got excited and, forgetting the excuse that she was the host, said, "Sure." But when she spun, it pointed to herself; undeterred, she spun again, and it still pointed to herself.
She blinked in disbelief at the odds of that happening, and Ruka rubbed her little head, saying, "Just pick someone then."
Qiao Suisui tilted her head, her eyes blinking back and forth, before her gaze finally settled between Sang Yan and Carl. Carl sat with his hands in his pockets, the image of nonchalance, not even glancing at Qiao Suisui, but his fingertips twitched slightly inside his pocket.
In the end, she chose Sang Yan, and Carl's face visibly soured as he took a big swig of alcohol.
Gai Meilun, head bowed, was inwardly screaming.
There's drama, there's drama, there's drama!
By the Beast God, I can stay single, but the CP I ship must sail!
Qiao Suisui couldn't hear Gai Meilun's thoughts and asked Sang Yan, "Do you want truth or dare?"
Sang Yan looked at her with amusement in his eyes, his expression serious as if it wasn't just a game.
"Truth."
"What does the Freedom Alliance look like in your eyes?"
Huh? What kind of question is that?
Gai Meilun's jaw dropped, and he looked helplessly at Ah Yao, his eyes full of confusion. Ah Yao picked up on his silent signal as if to ask: Is there drama, or is there not?
Ah Yao replied with his eyes: No drama.
Would someone interested in a person ask such a question? Obviously, there was nothing good to ask, just a perfunctory one to get by.
Carl laughed when he heard Qiao Suisui asking the question, and suddenly the alcohol didn't taste so strong anymore.
Leberli and Ruka exchanged glances, both men smiling without saying a word. Leberli muttered internally: Typical of Sikoses, always so good at hitting where it hurts.
It didn't matter what little moves he made from the side; they were nothing compared to making the concerned person completely give up hope. Sikoses had Suisui spin the bottle to look for an opportunity to see who she was really interested in among them all.
When she chose Sang Yan, Leberli's heart lurched, but as soon as she asked her question, Leberli's heart sank again, like he was on a roller coaster.
Sikoses's move was truly ruthless, not showing any signs, but indirectly telling Sang Yan that Suisui wasn't interested in him.
Sang Yan's complexion went a shade paler, and his brow furrowed imperceptibly before quickly resetting to his usual demeanor.
He still answered Suisui's question sincerely.

"In the Freedom Alliance, we were taught from a young age to revere the Beast God and be grateful for its protection. The annual sacrificial ceremonies made me feel a close connection with nature and the divine. I believed it was because of the Beast God's protection that our lands were so fertile and our lives so peaceful."
"Our society has a strict order and norms, and everyone knows their role and responsibilities. Although it sometimes feels restrictive, I understand these rules are in place to protect us. The leadership of the clergy keeps us away from strife and chaos."
"When I was young, I heard that the outside world was full of temptations and dangers. I was curious about life beyond the Freedom Alliance, but also a bit afraid. Our teachings here tell us that the Beastmen outside have strayed from the protection of the Beast God and live amongst conflict and suffering. I'm not sure if the outside world is indeed so frightening, but I do cherish the peace we have here."
As Qiao Suisui listened, she suddenly asked, "Now that you have come out, do you still think the same?"
Sang Yan's dark pupils regarded her, silent. He, too, had been allowed to leave the Freedom Alliance only after reaching adulthood, and upon leaving, he discovered that the Federation was not like the stories he had been told as a child. But he did not wish to deny the education he had received since childhood, for that would almost amount to renouncing his faith.
For the first time, Sang Yan averted his gaze from Qiao Suisui.
Actually, Qiao Suisui had not asked out of mere politeness; she sensed something from Lanze's description. The Freedom Alliance seemed a rather closed place, with a lack of information flow, like a man-made paradise. Sang Yan's words today seemed to confirm this to some extent.
She began to wonder, what exactly had happened in the war of secession between the Freedom Alliance and the Federation? And was the Rebel Army really the bad side, as Ruka and others had come to understand? Could it be that all three sides had their own stories and perspectives, and that piecing them together would reveal the complete objective truth?
Qiao Suisui lowered her eyes, lost in thought, not noticing the varied expressions of the men at the table. The game continued, and this round it was Carl's turn.
Without giving anyone time to react, Carl said directly to Qiao Suisui, "I choose you, truth or dare?"
Qiao Suisui was taken aback and was about to say she was the host, but Carl cut her off, "You've already participated just now, you can't use being the host as an excuse anymore."
She touched her nose and said, "Then... dare."
Carl raised an eyebrow, blew a whistle, and said, "A dare means you kiss me."
"Then I choose truth."
"Between the two men beside you, which one do you like the most?"
All eyes in the room turned to Qiao Suisui, with Ruka and Leberli looking at her, one on each side.
She instantly felt sweat drenching her back.
What on earth, Carl was like a ticking time bomb!
Qiao Suisui held her cup without speaking, her eyelashes fluttering, and from her pitiful appearance, Ruka softened a little, intending to speak up to break the awkwardness. However, Leberli preempted him by repeating the question, leaving her no way out.
"Suisui, I am curious too, even though Sikoses met you first, I wasn't much later. Who do you like more?"
"I..."
She sat in the middle, daring not to move or look at Ruka or Leberli, forced to face the infuriating face across from her.
The hotpot on the table was still steaming, bubbling away, and Suisui felt as if her own heart was boiling in that pot.
Behind the mist was Carl's sharp-featured face, his usual nonchalance and defiance nowhere to be seen when looking at her. Subtle, surging emotions were hidden in the depths of his eyes, his heart just as restless.
When he posed the question, he knew she would likely hold a grudge against him. But he needed an answer.
Because only by defining his goal could he know who his true competitor was.
Sang Yan watched the situation unfold without a word, unusually declining to help Qiao Suisui break free from the situation, because he also wanted to know the answer.
Suddenly, a scraping sound—the noise of a chair moving across the floor—rang out.
Qiao Suisui suddenly stood up.
