The crew of 'Sing or Sync' were all on edge because of the preparations for tomorrow's episode.

The contestants were busy preparing their stages while the staff decided on the last-minute changes they had to implement.

Due to the popularity of the past seasons, the crew was under huge pressure to make the show successful after not airing for two whole years.

However, there was an unexpected mishap on the day before their filming. Rex, the popular influencer who also had some talent in singing, was supposed to be on the first episode of the show.

However, after his mix-up with Zeno Han, his career had gone downhill. Although he hasn't committed a grave offense, they wondered if he should be kept in the show.

Because of that, the entire crew had a meeting but still couldn't come up with a sound decision.

They didn't think they could find another reputable artist who could replace Rex on such short notice.

"This number has been calling us nonstop since this morning," a young man shyly said to his scary senior. He had plucked up the courage to go inside the meeting room since the caller showed no signs of stopping.

"What?" Dahee, the recently promoted head producer of the show, snapped at the young man.

Her dyed blonde hair had become greasy from not washing it for the past three days out of busyness. Her dark circles had also darkened immensely, and it seemed even her eyebrows were falling out from stress.

She was an assistant producer of the show for the past four seasons, and recently, her senior had retired. Inevitably, she had to take on the role.

He scratched the back of his neck and handed her the phone. "This guy has been calling us nonstop, saying he was from Dreamy Entertainment."

Dahee frowned. "Dreamy Entertainment?"

The other crew members began discussing. "Dreamy? Where have I heard that name before?"

"It's familiar. It's on the tip of my tongue. But I can't seem to remember."

Dahee sighed and looked around the room. "Discuss among yourselves for a moment. Monitor the public's response to Rex's latest videos."

They nodded while Dahee grabbed the phone from the young man.

She stood from her seat and went outside of the conference room to answer the call.

"Hello?" a quite foolish-sounding voice said over the phone.

"Yes, who is this?" she asked.

"Who is this?" he said back, causing Dahee to sigh and massage the bridge of her nose.

"This is Dahee Li speaking," she muttered through gritted teeth. Everything got on her nerves lately, and she already wanted to take a break despite the season not even starting.

"Oh, finally!" he explained. "I've been waiting for you to answer the phone since earlier."

"What is it that you need, sir?" she snapped. "We have an important meeting—"

"This is Moby from Dreamy Entertainment," he tactessly said with a cheery voice. "One of our artists is very interested in joining your show. I was wondering if you have a spot for him."

Dahee frowned. Of course, she wasn't a stranger to such calls. Their show was very in demand, and small companies wanted their artists to join for more exposure.

However, Dahee didn't want such a thing to happen—that was why she carefully picked out the contestants. She just didn't expect that Rex would get into a scandal just a few days before their actual filming. Still, Rex was better than an unknown small artist.

"We're not interested," she said, about to turn off the call.

However, this man seemed the most desperate out of all she had interacted with.

"Please?" he exclaimed, sounding like he was on the verge of tears. "Our artist is a very good man. He's very popular, too! He's been offered so many variety shows, but he doesn't want to appear on them and has chosen your show."

"He's someone who spawns only once in a blue moon, and I can proudly say that he will make your show into a great one. This is also going to be his first appearance on a variety show, so it will bring in more hype."

Dahee clicked her tongue. If it was his first-ever appearance in a variety show, then Dahee could already guess that he was a rookie with no name.

She shook her head. "Sir," she started off. "I had heard such explanations from before."

"Zeno Han!" Moby exclaimed, causing Dahee to pause.

It didn't take her long to recognize that name—Zeno Han.

He was one of the most talked-about names in the entertainment industry at the moment because of his breakout roles as an extra. His scandal, which was supposed to bring down his reputation, became the reason why his career was currently skyrocketing.

"I'm sorry," she muttered. "Did you just say… Zeno Han?"

"Yes!" Moby exclaimed. "He's one of our artists, and he's the one interested in joining your show. I know you must be in the final preparations at the moment; however, our artist is a very efficient man. He can adjust without any problem. Just provide him the opportunity, and he will reach great heights with it!"

Dahee didn't speak for a moment. She went inside the conference hall and merely said his name.

"Zeno Han," she said, causing the conference room to become silent.

Then, some burst into whispers while others squealed.

"Oh, it would be great to have Zeno Han as a replacement, don't you think?"

"Zeno Han? I quite like that guy after seeing the video of the soundman and the recovering addict. He seems like a good guy."

"Would it be impossible to recruit him?"

Dahee swallowed and covered the phone speakers with her hand. "Is Zeno Han from Dreamy Entertainment?" she asked.

"Ah!" one of the staff said. "That's why the company sounds familiar! It was a controversial topic back then—Zeno joining an unknown company. I know it now. It was Dreamy Entertainment."

Dahee's breath got caught in the back of his throat. She felt like all the stress that had accumulated in her body just melted away. For some reason, her dark circles instantly became brighter, and the grease and dandruff in her hair appeared more like glitter with sheen.

With that, she placed the phone next to her ear once again.

"Let's do it," she said.

"Hmm?" Moby hummed. "I thought something had happened because I suddenly heard so many voices. What was that, ma'am?"

"Zeno Han," Dahee said in a loud voice, capturing the attention of everyone in the room.

"He will be in our show tomorrow."
