Yu Dong first pulled the people who were surrounding the tea house one by one. However, they were like ants that would rather willingly squash themselves than let go of the sugar in front of them.

Multiple spikes slowly appeared on the surface of the balls before they started flying in the air like glowing orbs. Every time anyone tried to approach the tea house, they would be zapped and sent flying back to the other side of the street.

Yu Dong nodded satisfactorily as she was certain that these orbs would protect the people inside the tea house. After she was done securing the safety of her brother, she turned and looked in the direction from where she could hear the sound of the bone flute.

Her eyes narrowed as she charged past the crowd, every time someone tried to stop her, she would curl the end of the whips in her hands and whip them until they could not move.

Even if these people could not feel pain at the moment, their bodies could.

Yu Dong followed the melody and soon walked past the town and arrived in front of a large building. If she was not wrong this was one of the best restaurants in this city.

The closer she got to the restaurant, the louder the melody became. Annoyed with this woman and her antics, Yu Dong kicked open the door of the restaurant. As soon as she stepped inside the building, she saw many of the staff of the restaurant standing there with machetes and knives.

"Young woman," a man who stood on top of the staircase said to Yu Dong. "You should return. I admit that you are valiant and wonderful, but your adventurous journey comes to an end here."

"Oh?" Yu Dong replied as she took out a smoke bomb from her space. "I can say the same for you." She raised her hand and then hurled the bomb in her hand at the crowd of people who were rushing at her as fast as they could with a slimy bug controlling her body.

Once the bomb hit the surface of the ground, smoke fumes erupted out of it and the people aiming to kill Yu Dong fell on the ground one by one.

The young man who stood on top of the staircase was stunned when he saw Yu Dong taking care of the people in one go. He turned and looked at her in surprise, "How did you? How did you do it?" He had been watching this woman since earlier and she didn’t throw these bombs while dealing with those who were attacking the tea house.

"The fumes are toxic and could be harmful to little children," replied Yu Dong as if reading the mind of the man who was staring at her in surprise. "I can’t take risks with the health of children."

The stranger: "…" So you think you can actually pick and choose how to save your life huh?

"You have no idea," said the man with a sigh. "You are courting death." With that, he unsheathed two long and thin blades which looked like whips but were actually swords. "I gave you a chance and you didn’t appreciate it. Now you are trapped in this building with me."

Yu Dong’s eyes turned cold as she snickered, "Are you sure about that? Do you really think that I am trapped in this building with you?"

She stuffed the whips back and then took out a bracelet that she wore on her wrist. This was something that she had put together just a few days ago with the scraps that were thrown in her space.

Along with the bracelet she took out a long spear that had red feather-like tassels and a long blade which had a thin space between the two blades.

"I can assure you that if there is anyone who is trapped inside this building. It is you."

Yu Dong’s bold words brought a smile to the face of the man who snickered. He raised his sword whips and said to her, "Fascinating words, young woman. But you will be singing a different tune once I am through with you."

"I will wait for you to make me sing it," Yu Dong said just as the man sneered and charged at her. His two whips slithered like fast-moving snakes as they attacked her, however Yu Dong remained unmoved as the whips attacked her.

She watched them get closer and closer before she raised her wrist with the bracelet and said, "Faux-89, begin processing."

The bracelet roared to life with a clicking and clacking sound, and rainbow colours flickered through its surface before —

A completely black shield appeared in front of Yu Dong, it shimmered with green, blue, violet and many shades of colours. But what made the man stop was the many faces that appeared on the surface of the shield.

They were horrifying with the look of pure terror on their faces which made him fear this woman as well.

"You—what are you?" The man asked angrily as he looked at Yu Dong before reeling back and landing on the surface of the stairs.

"Your death?" Yu Dong offered innocently and she charged at the man.

The man of course was not going to wait for death which was why the two of them soon got entangled in a fierce fight.

Pieces of wood and porcelain flew across the room.

Just as the man charged at Yu Dong again, she caught his blade in the middle of her spear and —
