Although the Lin Family is relatively younger than the other Cultivation Families in the Emerald Green Plains, they are richer than them.

As a 200-year-old Cultivation Family, there was no doubt that the Lin Family had accumulated some good items...especially Rank 5 and 6 Cultivation Resources.

’As for the Bloodfang Tigers, they can be evolved into Bloodarmoured Dragon Tigers using the bones of a Rank 5 and above beast.’

These six Spirit Beasts can be easily evolved; however, Ethan didn’t rush things as he wanted to fulfil the last requirement for the remaining four Spirit Beasts, two Lightning Apes and two Phantom Wolves.

Initially, he thought about buying the required items from the Starlight Merchant Union because they would definitely have the items.

However, he remembered the Treasure Hall of the Lin Family and the treasures stored inside it.

Since he was going all out to save the Lin Family, Ethan felt nothing bad about using some items from their Treasure Hall.

’Let’s go.’

After finalizing the evolutionary paths for the ten Spirit Beasts, Ethan didn’t waste any more time as he quietly contacted Theodore, the current Ancestor of the Lin Family.

Theodore hesitated a bit but he still brought Ethan to the Treasure Hall of the Lin Family after sending away the guards.

The Treasure Hall was a chamber inside the Ancestor Mansion, and other than the formations around the Ancestor Mansion, there were separate formations for the Treasure Hall.

Since Ethan was being brought by the Ancestor personally, he had no issues entering it.

Of course, the Ancestor kept an eye on Ethan all the time, and the moment he sensed anything wrong, he was ready to activate the formation to kill Ethan.

Compared to his confrontation with Ethan in the Small Courtyard, Theodore was more confident in taking down Ethan thanks to the formation in the Treasure Hall and the Mansion.

"T-this....so many Mid-level Spirit Stones and even High-level Spirit Stones."

As for Ethan, he was not bothered by Theodore’s alertness but checked out the Treasure Hall, and the first thing that caught his eye was two piles of Spirit Stones.

The big pile was made up of Mid-level Spirit Stones, whereas the small pile consisted of High-level Spirit Stones.

’Maybe, once I take care of the Lin Family’s issue, I can take....no....borrow some Spirit Stones from the Lin Family.’

Ethan’s eyes lit up as he thought he got an additional supply of Spirit Stones for the Annual Auction in the Sky Cloud City.

With that thought in mind, Ethan shifted his focus from the Spirit Stones to other things in the chamber.

There were all kinds of Rank 5 and Rank 6 cultivation resources like Fire-type metals, ores, pills and lots of Spirit Plants, which was not a surprise to Ethan, considering that the Lin Family excels in the path of Spirit Farmers.

’Right now, I need a Lightning-type Spirit Metal or Spirit Ore and a Rank 5 Dark Attributed Spirit Flower or Fruit.’

One was for the evolution of Lightning Ape into a Lightning Dragon Ape, and the other was for the Phantom Wolf to become a Phantom Dragon Wolf.

"What are you looking for?"

As Ethan was looking for the two items he needed, Theodore walked over with a calm look, hands behind his back.

"A Lightning Spirit Ore and a Dark-type Spirit Flower or Fruit... both need to be Rank 5 and above."

Without hesitation, Ethan said what he wanted from the Treasure Hall.

"Wait here."

Theodore’s eyes narrowed slightly; however, he didn’t think much and quickly found the two items that Ethan needed in no time.

"This is a Rank 6 Spirit Flower, Shadow Lily, harvested from our Ancestral Garden a few years back."

"As for this, it is not a Spirit Metal or Spirit Ore but a Solid Wood that is charred by the lightning. According to the appraiser, it has similar properties to those of a Spirit Metal and can be used to create weapons."

Theodore didn’t ask why Ethan needed these items, as he gave two items to Ethan, briefly explaining about them.

"Thank you, Ancestor."

Ethan became excited that he could get the items so soon as he silently heaved a sigh of relief, ’Phew...I didn’t have to rush to the Starlight Merchant Union in the Greenfire City.’

Although Ethan could get these two items one way or the other, he was happy that he got them easily and quickly.

"Ancestor, aren’t you going to ask why I need these items?"

Once he got the items, Ethan didn’t bother to check other items in the Treasure Hall because he knew sooner or later, they were all going to become his.

Since Cedric Lin, the Old Ancestor of the Lin Family, was his loyal subordinate now, and thus, the treasures held by the Lin Family obviously became his ... .All he had to do was say the word, and Cedric would gladly give it to Ethan.

Anyway, Ethan was not greedy to take them, but he was curious about why Theodore was giving him the items without any questions.

"Even if I ask, would you answer them?"

Theodore scoffed at Ethan as he continued, "Moreover, despite being an outsider, you swore to protect the Lin Family. So, giving you these two items was a small price."
