From Overlord To Multiverse.-Chapter 62 - 61: Training newbies part 1
Chapter 62: Chapter 61: Training newbies part 1
The voice that called out belonged to none other than Hestia, bounding down the stairs like a thunderbolt in a blue ribbon dress. Her eyes narrowed the moment she spotted the two unfamiliar girls standing beside Lioro.
She skidded to a halt just a few feet away, arms crossed beneath her chest, her expression flaring with suspicion.
"Who. Are. They?" Hestia asked slowly, her words dripping with childish possessiveness that bordered on territorial.
Tsuare instinctively stepped closer to Lioro, while Ninya gripped his sleeve from the other side.
"Let me introduce you. These are my sisters. Tsuare and Ninya," Lioro said, gently pushing them forward. "They'll be living with us from now on."
Hestia blinked once.
Twice.
Her mouth opened. Then closed.
Then opened again.
"...Sisters?" she repeated, narrowing her eyes.
"Yes."
She squinted harder. A faint divine shimmer flickered behind her eyes.
"...You're not lying," she muttered reluctantly, then looked back at them. "But they don't look anything like you!"
That didn't stop her from marching up to Tsuare with the energy of a suspicious landlady meeting new tenants.
She looked Tsuare up and down, slowly circling her like a cat assessing a rival predator. When she completed the full loop, she puffed out her cheeks.
"...She's really pretty," Hestia muttered.
Tsuare blinked in surprise, then smiled softly. "Thank you."
"Not fair!" Hestia turned away dramatically, stomping her foot like a child. "How come your sisters are all beautiful?! It's like a whole family of models!"
"Is that bad...?" Ninya asked timidly, peeking from behind Lioro.
Hestia froze, looked at Ninya, then said flatly.
"Finally, a normal one."
Ninya almost tripped.
Lioro watched the meltdown unfold with a blank stare.
And just when he thought things were settling—
Elsa arrived.
Tsuare raised an eyebrow.
Hestia glared at her.
And Ninya...
"Whoa..." she whispered, looking up at Elsa like she was a character from a fairy tale.
Coming beside Lioro, Elsa glanced at the new faces and asked curiously, "Who are they?"
"They're my sisters. Tsuare and Ninya."
"Sisters?..." Elsa echoed in a puzzled voice.
Bell also showed up and stood beside Yoriichi.
Seeing Elsa giving him the same doubtful look Hestia gave earlier, Lioro sighed and cancelled his transformation.
Instantly, his white hair and blue eyes reverted to their natural state, brownish blond hair and plain blue eyes. The aura of mystique vanished. He went from supermodel to average guy in a blink.
Charm -70
Elsa's eyes widened.
Bell's jaw dropped.
Hestia stared at him, stunned.
Yoriichi... remained completely unfazed.
Seeing their reactions...
Lioro's lips twitched.
Then, without a second thought, he reactivated his transformation, returning to his divine supermodel form.
Charm +70
Bell rubbed his eyes, trying to confirm if he was dreaming.
"W-w-w-w-what?!" Hestia stammered, pointing shakily at Lioro. "What in the name of the heavens was that?!"
"It's my special ability," Lioro said flatly.
Hestia was at a loss for words. Her divine senses were telling her he was still telling the truth.
She folded her arms tighter, grumbling, "I swear, this guy has too many skills..."
Just then, Elsa stepped closer.
"Was that your true appearance?" she asked, leaning in near his face with curiosity in her eyes.
"Yes," he replied.
"Can I see again?"
Lioro gave her a weird look, but then complied. He turned off his transformation, returning to his original appearance.
Elsa looked at his real face up close. She blinked.
The source of this c𝐨ntent is freeweɓnovēl.coɱ.
Then smiled.
"You look good," she said sincerely.
He wasn't unattractive by any means—more like a solid 6/10—but being surrounded by people who were an 11/10 made it hard to stand out.
'Is she being considerate? Or is the spirit passive, showing its effect?' Lioro wondered.
But the sincerity in Elsa's gaze couldn't be faked.
And Hestia, watching from the side, suddenly muttered, "She's not lying."
A small smile unconsciously formed on Lioro's lips.
Puffing out his chest, he crossed his arms and declared in an arrogant voice, "Isn't it obvious? Of course I look good!"
"Yes! Lioro looks the best!" Elsa chimed in immediately.
Hestia rushed forward, her voice full of suspicion and emotion.
"What else are you hiding? Quickly tell me!"
Lioro raised both hands in surrender, but that didn't stop Hestia from grabbing his shoulders and shaking him vigorously like a vending machine that refused to dispense snacks.
"Come clean already!"
Elsa stepped in, grabbing Hestia and trying to separate the two as chaos unfolded in the middle of the room.
Tsuare, Ninya, and Bell stood off to the side, all equally dumbfounded by the absurdity of the scene.
Yoriichi, meanwhile, watched it all unfold with a faint smile on his lips.
Eventually, after much bickering, things finally settled down.
Under Lioro's guidance, the members of the Hestia Familia gathered together for their first proper discussion.
Sitting on the floor in a casual circle, they talked about the Dungeon, how the world worked, and the general flow of an adventurer's life, especially for their new members who were still unfamiliar with the basics.
After some casual chatter, Lioro turned his attention to Yoriichi.
"So, how's the dungeon exploration going?"
Yoriichi nodded calmly. "It's going well. We managed to reach the 15th floor."
"That's great." Lioro tilted his head. "How close are you to leveling up?"
Considering Yoriichi's cheat-level skill, Lioro half-expected him to be racing toward the next level like a rocket.
But the answer that came back left him puzzled.
"I'm still far from leveling up," Yoriichi replied. "My stats haven't moved from E."
"What?" Lioro blinked. "Why?"
Then, it hit him. Yoriichi's strength was already abnormal, so much so that even 15th-floor monsters probably felt like training dummies.
"...The monsters are too weak?" Lioro asked slowly.
Yoriichi nodded.
The lack of challenge meant his growth had hit a wall, even with his boosted growth skill.
Lioro fell into silent thought, rubbing his chin.
He could let Yoriichi continue solo deeper into the dungeon, but the recent death of his Tier 10 undead had made him wary. The Dungeon wasn't something to underestimate.
"For now, don't go exploring the lower floors casually. Focus on training everyone else first," Lioro said. He then turned toward Bell, who looked like he was wrestling with something internally.
"What's the matter, Bell?"
Bell bit his lower lip. "I... I'm not dragging Yoriichi-san down, am I?"
"You're not a burden," Yoriichi replied immediately, his gaze steady and sincere.
Lioro gave Bell a reassuring nod. "Yoriichi's right. I believe you have what it takes to become a strong adventurer. Don't look down on yourself."
"T-thank you for believing in me!" Bell's eyes overflowed with tears as he cried out.
Ninya, sitting beside him, hesitated for a second before gently patting his head.
The soft gesture only made Bell cry louder.
Everyone stared at him, completely helpless.
"He actually awakened a strong growth-type skill recently," Hestia said, watching Bell with a fond smile.
"Oh?" Lioro raised an eyebrow. "That so?"
Could it be his signature skill, Liaris something? But the Minotaur incident hadn't occurred yet, so what triggered it?
Unknowingly his gaze drifted to Yoriichi.
...No way.
Right?
It couldn't be...
A man?
The longer Lioro thought about it, the more it made sense.
And honestly? That might be better.
If Bell's aspiration was indeed Yoriichi, then he had struck gold.
After all, potential-wise Yoriichi >>> Ais-whatever-her-name.
Think about it. One had a passive growth skill. The other? A growth skill based on someone with a passive growth skill.
Yoriichi would always keep growing.
Which meant Bell would also keep growing.
An infinite feedback loop of progress.
Lioro touched his chin, imagining the two of them as future Level 10 generals standing at his side.
It was... kind of exciting.
But... something felt off.
Only two?
Maybe three, if he counted Elsa?
That was hardly enough.
He needed at least seven.
Seven generals.
Like the Seven Deadly Sins. The Seven Shadows. The Seven Divinities.
It just sounded right.
Lioro mentally jotted it down on his growing to-do list... right under the item labeled:
– Bury head in Demeter's bosom.
Shaking off that ridiculous thought, Lioro clapped his hands. "Alright, everyone. Get ready—we're heading into the Dungeon."
"So suddenly?" Hestia asked, wide-eyed.
"Yes," Lioro replied without hesitation. "Elsa needs to experience it firsthand."
Of course, Tsuare and Ninya would stay at the Familia home. They were auxiliary members and not meant for dungeon dives.
Elsa's eyes sparkled at the news, equal parts curiosity, excitement, and fear. A real dungeon. Real monsters. A real adventure.
This was her first step into a new world.
"I'll go prepare our equipment," Yoriichi said as he rose to his feet, but Lioro stopped him with a raised hand.
"Did you collect any magic stones?"
"Yes. As instructed, we only exchanged a small portion for Valis," Yoriichi nodded.
"Good." Lioro nodded in approval. Then turned to the side.
"Bell. Stop crying already."
Bell froze and wiped his face with comical speed, posture snapping straight like a soldier.
Seeing all eyes on him, Lioro stepped forward and made space in the middle of the room. With a sweep of his hand, he brought out two separate sets of equipment from his inventory.
Armor gleamed. Weapons shimmered.
Yoriichi and Bell's eyes lit up the moment they laid eyes on them.

He made them during his spare time in Frozen world.
It definitely wasn't because he couldn't see his familia members wearing equipment made by other smiths!
The description was completely false, as always!
In truth, their stats were still on the lower side, and this was the best equipment they could realistically equip. If Lioro had gone any higher in quality, the requirements would've skyrocketed, making it unusable for them anyway.
"I-Is this for us?" Bell asked, eyes wide with excitement and awe.
Yoriichi, meanwhile, had his gaze locked onto the katana. From the first glance alone, he knew, it was perfect.
The handle, the weight, the curve, the length, it was like the blade had been forged with him in mind. No, for him, specifically.
Barely holding himself back from snatching the sword on the spot, Yoriichi turned to Lioro and asked quietly, "How much?"
"12,000 magic crystals," Lioro replied calmly.
The price wasn't too high nor too low. Considering the materials used were relatively common, it was fair.
After all, this was just solid high-end gear for adventurers around Level 25 or below.
Yoriichi and Bell looked at each other, nodded... and immediately sprinted toward their rooms to gather the crystals.
On the other side, Hestia had crouched down to inspect the equipment closely. Her sharp blue eyes scanned the fine craftsmanship with increasing scrutiny.
The more she looked, the more a strange feeling crept over her.
Deja vu...?
'Wait a second... this craftsmanship... this flow... this style...'
Hephaestus?!
No way.
No way.
She shook her head, thinking she was overanalyzing. Her imagination had to be playing tricks on her.
But then... her eyes wandered to Lioro's hand.
To the rings he wore.
Cool-looking rings. Clean design, Powerful.....
The more she stared, the more familiar they felt.
Nothing unusual... except...
Suddenly, her pupils contracted.
Divine Aura!
Her mouth twitched.
And suddenly, her eyes went wide.
A burst of divine flame exploded in her chest.
Like a lioness spotting prey, Hestia launched herself at the unsuspecting Lioro, her voice wild with fury and disbelief.
"I KNEW IT!!! YOU'RE HAVING AN AFFAIR WITH HEPHAESTUS!!!"
Before Lioro could even react, her teeth clamped down on his head.
"W-WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT—LET GO!!"
Lioro flailed while Hestia bit down like an enraged chihuahua.
Elsa quickly grabbed Hestia's legs and tried to pull her off.
But Hestia kept biting down on Lioro's head, and wouldn't let go!
"Goddess, let go!"
