Chapter 1241: Chapter 680: Love and Hatred Intertwined_2

An icy yet authoritative voice directly resonated in Gaven’s mind, "I am the highest Ruler of the Kingdom of Arosh, the guardian and owner of this forest, the Queen of the Tree Spirit Kingdom, Ladana Radanaxi. Who are you?"

The intent to hold accountable was all too apparent.

Anyone in her position would have a reason to be angered, given that a full-scale Attack had been launched by her subjects against the invaders, plunging into collective Berserk without the knowledge of her, the supreme Ruler.

For the forest, this might be a good thing, but for her reign, it was an undeniable threat.

Upon hearing this voice, Gaven was slightly startled but did not show much surprise. Without asking, he knew that this was a nation within the woods, one of those Fae Race kingdoms unknown to outsiders, which was all too commonplace.

After a moment of contemplation, Gaven replied, "I am the terminator of the Divine Nature Incarnation of the God of the Hunt, the Blue Bear, an ally of the Fairy Wilderness’s Spring Bud Forest, the Rebooter of Mesnoel, and the destroyer of Moando, the God of Decay and the Divine Root in the initial Temple, Gaven Nort. I am currently healing this forest, returning it to Balance."

Dealing with different kinds of people naturally calls for different identities.

If such a string of identity introductions were placed before a Human like the Crown Princess, it would probably be just listened to without invoking much feeling.

But for those races and forces related to nature, especially among the Fae, it couldn’t be more effective. Healing the forest was only waving a false banner; the situation had already spiraled out of control, and Gaven and his group could only go with the flow, letting the situation evolve on its own.

As expected, after listening to Gaven’s title, the other party fell into a long silence, evidently verifying his identity, as for the method of verification, that was beyond Gaven’s knowledge. After all, only the Fae themselves knew some of their unique ways of contact, which were difficult to explain clearly in words.

"So it is Mr. Gaven, the Creator of the natural dreams," the voice of Queen Ladana Radanaxi from the Tree Spirit Kingdom resounded once more, this time somewhat more gentle, "Thank you for everything you’ve done for this forest, but I hope such an incident does not happen a second time. Doing so will only expose my subjects and this forest to greater danger."

"I understand," Gaven assured earnestly, "such an incident will definitely not happen a second time. I will take responsibility for coordinating with the Humans outside the forest, ensuring they do not stir up any conflict and war with you."

Even if he wanted to do it a second time, he wouldn’t have the capability.

There were many mix-ups involved that couldn’t be corrected just by killing a Divine Nature Incarnation; included was the thousands of years of accumulated rage of the King’s Forest, which had exploded in a one-time venting.

It’s believed that after this incident, the reverence the residents of the King’s Forest held for their forest would significantly increase, becoming more cautious about their actions.

"I hope you keep your word," Ladana Radanaxi quickly ended this soul connection, as the wave of fury had already reached where she was, and the Kingdom under her rule was forced into a state of war.

Since war was now unavoidable, one must ensure to be on the winning side.

However, the ones affected the most were the bear types from the King’s Forest; they felt not only the Berserk rage but also the soul’s call from the Blue Bear Totem Spirit, many, among their fury, were involuntarily drawn towards the direction of Bear Forest.

The sudden upheaval in the King’s Forest lasted throughout the night.

Exactly how many of Meira’s Followers, robbers, and bandits were buried in this primordial forest remains unknown.

All that was known was that the number of bandits who were driven out of the forest totaled up to a thousand; they were on the peripheries, nearly driven mad by the pursuit of the Berserk animals, and many were not captured by the Purple Dragon Patrol Team but willingly sought them out like one finds family and voluntarily asked to be arrested, admitting to their crimes with just one request—to be taken as far away from the forest as possible, for they never wished to enter any woods again in their lifetimes.

But numerous tragedies couldn’t be stopped from occurring. Many small lumbering stations and villages vanished from the King’s Forest; they were piled with the bodies of villagers and Berserk Beasts.

Humans and natural creatures often cannot come to a consensus; the creatures didn’t care whether these small logging sites were illegally logging or if they were legally felling trees with a Royal Permit. In their eyes, all were destroyers of the forest.

In contrast, the people only pleading for forgiveness and repentance from the forest were those from the defenseless small villages and settlements, under the leadership of Natural Deities Priests and Druids. Those with their own guard squads or even Purple Dragon Patrol Teams stationed preferred to take up arms to protect themselves and their towns.

In such a situation, circumstances usually favored the Humans; as wild as a Beast may be, it is still just a Beast, capable against common folk but clearly outmatched against professional soldiers clad in Armor.

Numerous Berserk wild animals and birds amassed outside such villages.

Before a greater tragedy could unfold, countless graceful and beautiful women emerged from the woods. With their beautiful songs, they stopped the Berserk attacks of these wild animals and led them back into the forest.
