Chapter 111: Chapter 111: Crazy woman

Did he just ban a few people from the city because of me? Sanya was dumbstruck.

But then again, Sanya must be overthinking. Why in the world would this man do things for her? He must have ulterior motives.

Nothing good ever comes out of him. She scowled, glaring at him.

"Then what about me?" Sanya asked him. As far as she knew—and from the look on his face—it wasn’t anything good.

"You will be my maid, as I stated earlier," Shentu Mingye said, pulling out a piece of paper. "You’re fired too. From this bar, at least."

The paper was a maid contract. Sanya’s face twisted in anger. She gritted her teeth.

"You scumbag! I will—" she raised a fist, but he warned her.

"Don’t forget the compensation fee," he said loudly.

"Don’t you threaten me with some fee. So what if you’re some rich man with a good reputation or whatever? I still won’t pay," she said fiercely.

"Well," Shentu Mingye sighed. "What do you think will happen if I reveal what you did to me that night?"

What a stubborn woman. This was the first time he had met someone who dared to openly go against him. Thus, she sparked his interest, and he was determined to make her work for him. Just wait and see how he makes her life miserable.

Sanya suddenly smiled sweetly. "Are you threatening me? Is this blackmail?"

She was pretending to be sweet and nice, while on the inside, she couldn’t wait to land another punch on this dumb kitten. Wait—he wasn’t as dumb as she thought.

Shentu Mingye also put on his innocent, sweet face.

He admitted it shamelessly. "Yes, I’m blackmailing you. Or do you want me to tell everyone how you assaulted me? Be my guest. What can you do?" he said softly so no one could hear them.

"You dare? How can you call that assault? You clearly asked those security guards to arrest me. Okay, so I can’t punch you because you’re now my boss. That doesn’t mean I can’t walk away now, can I? Did I admit that you’re my boss?" Sanya had a knack for arguing or fighting with anyone, but when up against Shentu Mingye, she simply couldn’t defeat him because the latter was cunning and tricky.

"Try it, and I’ll bring the matter to court. After all, I can access any CCTV footage I want, including the ones at the technology event," Shentu Mingye said, blinking innocently, which did no good because Sanya knew exactly what kind of person he was.

"All rich people are the same; they love to abuse their authority. They might be treated like kings in front of everyone, but underneath, they’re no different than scoundrels. Without power and money, you are nothing," she sneered. She thought of what happened to Qin Zhuzhu, how her best friend was bullied for being poor, and immediately her mood turned sour.

"Kinda true. But kinda wrong. My family built their business up through blood, sweat, and tears. Although we did cheat, scheme, and even use underhanded methods to get rid of business rivals, we still have morals and ethics. We never kill nor destroy our business rivals to the point of no return. That’s how the rich stay rich. We use our brains, unruly woman," Shentu Mingye tapped his head, "not our fists like you. No wonder you can only stay here and get framed by some crazy bitch. Who in the world goes down the straight lane and acquires happiness?"

Shentu Mingye’s words brought some sense to Sanya. It sounded true, though she refused to admit it. They shared different thoughts and opinions. Working for him would be a big mistake.

Unable to refute him, she simply turned away from Shentu Mingye and strode with purpose out of the bar. "I’m done," she said as she removed her apron and got ready to throw it away.

But on second thought, she felt it would be better to throw it at Shentu Mingye.

"You’re done? So fast? We were just getting started!" he called after her, laughing lightly.

"Well, you can shove your offer up your ass! And I’ll shove my business up my own ass!" She flung her apron at Shentu Mingye, who caught it.

"Nice apron. For me? Thank you," Shentu Mingye remarked playfully.

"No, but this is for you," Sanya stepped out of her shoes and threw them at Shentu Mingye.

Luckily, he quickly sidestepped them, or else he’d end up in the newspaper again. God help him because he had never seen a woman as bad-tempered and crazy as Sanya.

Sanya saw that her attempts to smack him in the face failed, so she picked up a vase.

What the hell?! This woman was even crazier than he thought. Knowing he might not be able to outrun or avoid the vase, he quickly approached her and grabbed it from her hands.

"Are you crazy?! Do you really want to knock me to death with a vase?!"

"Why not? I hate people like you!" she spat.

"People like me? Do you think it’s easy to live if you were in my shoes?" he laughed sarcastically.

"Whatever," Sanya grabbed her purse and strode out of the bar. Luckily, she had an extra pair of slippers in her purse. She pulled them out and slipped them on, feeling comfortable. High heels would have slowed her down from getting away from that scumbag.

Shentu Mingye sighed again. Sooner or later, she’d come back—he was sure. He watched her figure fade into the distance. Shentu Mingye exited the bar and waited in his car.

"Sir, are you sure this woman will come back?" the driver asked. His feet were starting to get numb from waiting for over 40 minutes. He checked his watch nervously. In all his life, he had never seen a woman who openly went against their Little Master.

"Don’t worry. I’m sure she’ll come back," Shentu Mingye chuckled.

"I still haven’t made her pay for landing me in jail!"
