Fairy Tail Destiny-Chapter 100: Ch : Demon Mirajane
Chapter 100 - Ch 100 : Demon Mirajane
"Ah, Lucy won!"
Shortly after the Fairy Tail women left the guild, the magical text in midair refreshed once again, displaying that Lucy had defeated Bickslow.
"Seriously? That cheerleader girl can actually fight?" Gajeel's eyes nearly popped out of their sockets.
From his perspective, Lucy's combat ability was anything but strong—it should be downright pitiful.
However, the magical text in the air didn't lie.
Lucy had actually defeated one of the Thunder God Tribe, and not just any member, but Bickslow, the one who had even beaten Gray.
This was truly shocking.
"Lucy is really amazing. Just judging by appearance, it's hard to imagine... Hmm, so this is what they mean by 'don't judge a book by its cover'?" Noel stroked his chin and murmured.
"Lucy is strong."
"No way, she's a cheerleader."
"Have you ever heard the story about a cheerleader racing a turtle?"
"Wasn't it a rabbit? And the rabbit lost."
"That was just the first race. After that, they raced several more times, and the rabbit won every time."
"I... I see, the rabbit learned its lesson."
Standing next to Noel, the two Dragon Slayers, who had been shocked by Lucy's victory, suddenly became embroiled in an intense debate about cheerleaders, turtles, and the story of the tortoise and the hare.
"Sigh, are these two really okay?" Listening to their increasingly absurd discussion, Noel couldn't help but sigh.
"This is it!!"
At that moment, Levy, who had been busy deciphering Freed's enchantment, suddenly shouted.
"This is it! By analyzing the two grammar structures at different speeds, then converting the synchronous text integers using Kyrillian grammar a week later, and translating it into Lorican script... It's unlocked!"
"Levy, you're amazing," Noel praised.
"Hold on, I'll rewrite the enchantment. Noel, Natsu, Gajeel, are you ready? You're about to join the Fairy Tail battle!"
Noel stood up, looking at Natsu and Gajeel, who were both brimming with fighting spirit, and a faint smile appeared on his lips.
"Let's go, Natsu, Gajeel."
"Ohhh! I'm fired up!"
"Time to raise some hell."
---------------
Somewhere by the river in Magnolia.
Mira supported the injured Elfman as they walked slowly.
"Sis, it's okay. I can walk on my own now," Elfman said worriedly, looking at Mira.
"It's fine. This much is nothing for me," Mira smiled gently.
"Sis..."
Suddenly, a massive explosion rang out from the stone bridge ahead.
The bridge began collapsing from the middle, accompanied by a loud crash and billowing dust.
"What the...?" Elfman muttered in shock.
"That's Cana," Mira's eyes narrowed as she spotted Cana lying among the rubble.
Then, she shifted her gaze toward Freed, who stood atop the bridge, and shouted sternly, "Stop, Freed!"
Freed turned his head and, seeing Mira and Elfman approaching, spoke indifferently, "Elfman, you lost to Evergreen. You have no right to rejoin the game."
"Annoying."
"Enough, Freed! Aren't we comrades?" Mira said sternly.
"We used to be... But in this game, where we aim to change everything, that concept no longer exists. Anyone who stands against Laxus is my enemy," Freed said softly, raising his sword.
"Stop this, Freed, or I won't go easy on you." Mira's usually gentle and smiling face was now clouded with darkness.
An overwhelming magical aura surged around her, causing her clothes and hair to float as if caught in an invisible force.
Though she hadn't fought in years, there was no doubt—she was still the same demon that once stood at the pinnacle of Fairy Tail's power alongside the Fairy Queen, Erza.
She was the Demon of Fairy Tail—Mirajane.
"This magic power... Could it be the legendary Demon Mirajane?" Freed's pupils contracted in shock as he sensed Mira's terrifying energy.
At that moment, Mira's magic reached its peak, and a black magic circle suddenly appeared beneath her.
"Take Over: Satan Soul."
As she spoke, her form transformed—now she had a tail, sharp claws, and bat-like wings.
Whoosh!
Mira's figure vanished from Freed's sight.
In the next instant, she appeared right in front of him, throwing a devastating punch.
Boom!
A cloud of dust erupted upon impact.
Freed hastily used Dark Écriture: Wings to fly up into the sky.
"Vanish—Dark Storm."
Mira coldly locked onto him, pursuing at high speed.
In just a few swift exchanges, she unleashed Dark Storm, releasing a torrent of dark energy hands from her palms, which struck Freed and sent him flying.
"Damn it... I have no choice but to fight fire with fire. Dark Ecriture: Demon."
Sensing the dire situation, Freed gritted his teeth and invoked a forbidden spell, transforming himself into a demon.
But...
It was useless.
As one of the few S-Class Mages in the guild, Mira's strength was far beyond what Freed could match.
Even after transforming into a demon, Freed only managed to hold out a little longer before being blasted away once again—this time, crashing deep into the ground.
"Damn it... What is this overwhelming power? I've heard the stories, but... Is this really the same Mirajane?" Freed muttered, his body trembling.
But he refused to give up. "Dark Surge!"
Black storms of energy erupted from Freed's body, momentarily catching Mira off guard and forcing her back.
"Dark Bullet!"
Seizing the opportunity, Freed launched a black energy projectile straight at Mira, hitting her directly and sending her crashing into the lake.
"Did I... do it?"
But then—What is that?!
Freed's eyes widened in shock as Mira emerged from the water, completely unharmed, her powerful aura shaking the very air around them.
"Soul Extinction."
A dark sphere formed in Mira's palm before she hurled it at Freed.
The sheer force of the attack sent Freed flying, unleashing a massive shockwave that illuminated all of Magnolia.
(H-How could I ever win...? Is this the true power of the Demon?)
Freed lay defeated on the ground, completely overpowered.
His pupils were filled with terror as Mira stood over him.
But to his surprise, instead of finishing him off, she deactivated her Satan Soul transformation.
"You... What are you doing?"
"This fight is meaningless."
"Is this the arrogance of a victor, Mirajane? Finish me off!" Freed growled, angered by what he perceived as condescension.
"We are comrades—members of the same guild. We laugh together, argue together, and move forward together..."
"Shut up! My only comrade is Laxus!" Freed roared in defiance.
"Not just him, right, Freed? You must have realized it by now. While relying on a single person isn't entirely wrong, there are many people around you. Everyone is connected in some way. Look—just reach out your hand. They're right there, so close..."
Mira spoke gently, her voice filled with warmth.
"Noel once said... When someone realizes how lonely they are, they can become kinder. And you—you've noticed it too."
As Mira finished speaking, Freed was already in tears, sobbing uncontrollably.
"This... this wasn't what I wanted..." Freed choked on his words, his voice trembling.

"I know," Mira said softly. "Next year, let's all enjoy the Harvest Festival together." She smiled.
At that moment, the magical text in the sky updated:
[Freed vs. Mirajane: Both lost the will to fight.]
Somewhere in Magnolia, as Noel continued his search for Laxus, he saw the updated message and nodded.
(It's almost over, Laxus... The Fairy Tail Battle is down to just you now.)
