Cultivation Online-Chapter 1945: Young Dragons(2)
"The Dragon Azure Clan! Did the Dragon Goddess send you here to get rid of those pests trying to steal our home?!"
The young dragons' eyes sparkled when Yuan mentioned the Dragon Azure Clan.
"Who knows?" Yuan shrugged.
A few of the young dragons then approached Xi Meili and asked her, "Are you also Dragon Goddess Yeyou's envoy?"
"Hm? No, I am not. I am just his traveling companion."
"How old are you, Senior Sister?" one of them suddenly asked.
"I stopped counting after 10,000 years," she calmly stated.
"Huh? You're only at that level even after 10,000 years? You must be very lazy, Senior Sister."
"What?! Who are you calling lazy?!"
Xi Meili's expression froze in disbelief after being called lazy.
Though she was still considered young by dragon standards, the dragons before her were even younger—all under a thousand years old. And yet, each one had a cultivation level that surpassed her own.
Because of this, the young dragons could only view Xi Meili, who was older yet weaker than them, as lazy in their eyes.
"If you're not lazy, why is your cultivation so much lower than ours?" asked one of the young dragons, and the others stared at her with a suspicious gaze.
"T-That's because I grew up in a place with much less spiritual energy than you all!" Xi Meili explained.
Even though she knew she wasn't lazy, Xi Meili couldn't help but feel uneasy under the weight of so many young dragons' doubtful gazes.
Yuan then spoke, "We actually just arrived in the Seventh Heaven."
"Ohh…"
The young dragons nodded their heads as if they understood the situation.
"Then, would you like to train with us, Senior Sister?"
"Of course!" Xi Meili didn't hesitate to accept their offer.
"Have fun," Yuan said with a smile on his face.
Xi Meili nodded and followed the young dragons to the arena, where she began sparring with them first.
Due to their difference in cultivation, they agreed not to use any martial techniques and focused purely on their skills.
"I guess she really wasn't lying. Although her cultivation is lacking, she's very experienced and skillful."
Xi Meili quickly earned the young dragons' respect with her skillful performance.
However, despite her ten thousand years of experience, she was unable to secure a single victory. Out of ten matches, she lost them all.
It wasn't just their superior cultivation—the young dragons possessed exceptional technique, battle sense, and even physique. They were simply incomparably stronger than the dragons she would spar with within the Ancient Dragon City.
"Damn it… I knew I was weak, but I didn't expect myself to be this weak… Is this what it means to be a frog in a well?" Xi Meili mumbled as she lay on the arena, her body soaked in sweat.
"Don't look so down. You're very talented. I'm sure you'll catch up soon," Yuan said as he approached the arena.
Xi Meili turned her head to look at him without getting up and asked, "If I have your 'Seal', would it make it stronger?"
"..."
After a moment of silence, Yuan nodded, "Yes, you would undoubtedly become stronger with the Immortal Monarch's Supreme Seal."
He answered with a serious face.
"However, I won't give you the seal if that's your reason for wanting it."
Xi Meili showed a bittersweet smile.
"I know. I was only joking."
She immediately stood up and spoke loudly, "Alright! Let's spar again!"
Yuan turned to the Dragon Emperor.
"This is just a personal request of mine, but do you mind letting her train with you guys?"
"Of course. The young ones seem to have taken a liking to her as well," the Dragon Emperor said with a faint nod. "While her cultivation and experience are certainly lacking, I can sense a remarkable talent within her. My instincts also tell me her bloodline is unique—perhaps even one that could rival our own Holy Dragon Bloodline."
Yuan smiled and said, "Have you heard of the Ancient Dragon City?"
The Dragon Emperor's eyes widened.
"You mean to tell me that she's from that place?"
"Not only that, but she's also from a royal bloodline."
The Dragon Emperor turned to look at Xi Meili and asked, "What was her name again?"
"Xi Meili."
"Surnamed Xi!"
The Dragon Emperor trembled.
"You recognize it?" Yuan raised an eyebrow.
He nodded thoughtfully and said, "There is another Dragon Emperor who bears the surname Xi. His clan resides in the Eighth Heaven. It may be nothing more than coincidence… but there's a chance their bloodlines are connected."
"The Eighth Heaven, huh? I'll be sure to visit them in the future."
Some time later, a young female dragon approached Yuan and bowed politely.
"Senior Envoy, may I respectfully request a spar with you?" she asked with clear determination in her voice.
Yuan turned to look at her. Though her appearance resembled that of a human teenager, she could very well be over a thousand years old. Her cultivation was nothing to scoff at either, firmly at the peak of Immortal Ascension.
The Dragon Emperor frowned, but before he could say anything, Yuan nodded with a smile.
"Why not?"
"Thank you!" The female dragon's face immediately brightened.
Yuan followed her to an empty arena shortly after.
"Huh? Look over there! Dragon Goddess Yeyou's envoy is going to fight Senior Sister Sheng Ran!"
Almost everyone at the training ground shifted their attention to Yuan.
"Sheng Ran? Are you from the main bloodline?" Yuan asked the female dragon after hearing her name.
"That is correct. I am the 4th youngest in the family, Sheng Ran. Let's have a great match, Senior Envoy!"
"Let's."

Yuan and Sheng Ran stood motionless on the stage. Neither made a move even moments later, almost as if they were waiting for the other to strike first.
"Umm… Senior Envoy, are you not to release the suppression on your cultivation?" Sheng Ran asked.
"Hm? This is my real cultivation, though."
"What?! You're only at the peak of Divine Emperor?!" she exclaimed, not daring to believe him.
