Born Into Villain's Family: I Have a 200\% Rebate System-Chapter 124: Test
Chapter 124: Chapter 124: Test
Aurora pretended to check a message before saying,
"Can you please repeat what you said earlier?"
"I said if you pass, I will throw a party and invite the entire grade," Caroline repeated.
"Recorded," Aurora said with a smile and waved her phone. "If you dare to back down later, I will make sure to play it in front of the entire grade."
Caroline’s confident smirk wavered slightly, but she quickly recovered.
"Oh, Aurora, you really haven’t changed, have you?" she said, flipping her hair over her shoulder.
"Fine. I stand by my words. But don’t get your hopes up too much."
Aurora simply smiled, tucking her phone into her pocket.
"You too. If you remain single your entire life, it’s definitely your poisonous mouth and average personality."
Caroline: "..."
She was so furious that she almost wanted to slap Aurora. However she fought back the urge and turned to leave.
’B*tch just you wait! With your dumb brain, you will never be able to score even the passing marks!’
Aurora suddenly said,
"One more thing, Caroline."
Caroline paused and turned,
"What?"
"Your nose looks too unnatural. get your plastic surgery done from some other place." Aurora advised earnestly.
Caroline’s anger boiled over, and she was about to shout at her when the principal’s assistant came out and said,
"Are you Aurora?"
Aurora turned to face the assistant and nodded. "Yes, that’s me."
The assistant smiled politely. "The principal is ready to see you now. Please come in."
Aurora gave Caroline one last satisfied smile before following the assistant into the office. Mary walked beside her.
As they stepped inside, the principal, an older man with sharp eyes and a serious demeanor, gestured for them to sit.
"Miss Aurora, I’ve reviewed your medical history and your request for the grade-skipping exam," he said, adjusting his glasses.
"It’s quite an unusual case, but given the circumstances, I’m willing to allow it—on one condition."
Aurora met his gaze confidently. "What condition?"
"You will have to take an accelerated placement test covering all major subjects. If you pass with a satisfactory score, we will place you accordingly," he explained.
"But if you fail, you will be placed in the grade appropriate for your last completed year."
Aurora nodded without hesitation. "I accept."
The principal studied her for a moment before nodding.
"Very well. Your test will be scheduled for next Monday. That should give you the weekend to prepare."
Mary shifted slightly in her seat. "Mr. Greenwood, my daughter has been through a lot. Is it possible to—"
Aurora gently placed her hand over Mary’s, reassuring her. "It’s fine, Mom. I can handle it."
Then she turned toward the principal and said,
"I would like to take the test now."
The principal raised an eyebrow at Aurora’s bold request.
"You want to take the test now?" he repeated, adjusting his glasses as if to make sure he heard correctly.
Aurora nodded. "Yes. There’s no need to wait. I’m ready."
Mary looked at her daughter with concern, but Aurora’s confidence never wavered.
Principal Greenwood studied her for a long moment before sighing.
"This is highly unusual... but if you insist."
In his heart, though, he criticized Aurora for overestimating herself.
’Students nowadays are truly outrageous. Does this little girl truly think she can pass the high school exams so easily?
Tsk...tsk, I even felt pity for her and thought of giving her easy examination papers, but from the way she is behaving, I think she needs to learn a lesson.’
He pressed a button on his desk. "Ms. Carter, bring in the placement test papers."
A few minutes later, a strict-looking woman with graying hair entered the office, carrying a thick stack of test papers.
She set them down in front of Aurora and gave her a skeptical glance.
’Tsk...tsk this girl is done for. The principal had instructed me to bring the difficult set of papers if he had said placement test paper.
Even high school students will have a hard time getting satisfactory marks. This student would definitely cry today.’
"You’ll have three hours," the principal said.
"No breaks. If you leave any section incomplete, it will affect your placement."
Aurora picked up her pen. "That won’t be a problem."
The principal nodded. "Then begin."
Aurora picked up the pen and calmly flipped through the test papers. The thick stack didn’t scare her at all. Instead, she smiled.
’So this is their plan? Making it harder for me?’
She chuckled softly, shaking her head. ’Too bad, I’m not an ordinary student.’
The principal and Ms. Carter secretly watched her reaction, waiting for her to panic.
But instead of hesitating, Aurora started answering immediately, her pen flying across the paper like a breeze.
Page after page, she wrote without pausing.
Complex math problems? Solved in seconds.
Long English essays? Completed without a frown.
Even the hardest science questions, ones that could make top students cry, seemed like child’s play to her.
The principal frowned. He leaned toward Ms. Carter and whispered,
"She’s just pretending. She can’t really know all the answers."
Ms. Carter nodded. "Let’s see how much she cries when she gets her results."
One hour later.
Aurora put down her pen and stretched lazily. "I’m done."
The principal and Ms. Carter snapped their heads toward her.
"What?" The principal’s face darkened. "You still have two hours left. Are you sure you don’t need to check again?"
Aurora smiled. "No need. It was too easy."
Ms. Carter snorted. "Too easy? Even top high school students struggle with these questions."
Aurora leaned back in her chair, crossing her arms. "Then I guess I’m smarter than your top students."
The principal’s face turned ugly. "Fine. Let’s see how well you did."
He snatched the papers and started grading them on the spot.
’Today I will definitely teach this girl a good lesson. How dare she act so arrogantly! From her past results, it is clear that she is an average student.’
At first, he looked confident, ready to find mistakes.
