Chapter 329: Chapter 167: Chaos, The Beginning_2

Stepping on the ancient Forbidden Ice, Ronan slowly walked to the spot where Ignatius had died, carefully searching through the ice shards left behind, but alas, he found nothing.

Ignatius had succumbed to his prime, struck by the formidable Three Magic Domains Fusion Skill, utterly annihilated to ashes, leaving not a trace behind.

A tinge of regret arose in Ronan’s heart, followed by his approach to Damian’s body.

This guy was hit by his second Hekarter’s Death Gaze; the second was much less powerful than the first, yet Damian’s strength was significantly inferior to that of Ignatius.

Thus, the result was the same as it had been for Ignatius.

However, Damian’s body wasn’t completely disintegrated into powder; several chunks of his remains still lingered.

Ronan searched through Damian’s remains for a while, finding two rings, one silver and one green, both engraved with a simple leaf pattern, both Space Rings.

Besides that, there was a silver Magic Cube-shaped Magic Tool, radiating strong pulses of Spatial Energy.

But just as Ronan reached out to touch the Magic Cube, it unexpectedly shattered into countless sparkling silver-white particles and vanished.

"Hmm?!"

Ronan was caught off-guard, and before he could react, along with the shattering of the silver Magic Cube, the surroundings morphed bizarrely.

He saw the wizards, previously divided into separate small spaces, disappearing in groups before his eyes, the surrounding Void washing everything away rapidly as if numerous invisible streams of water flowed down.

Even the seven intertwined "Sun of Dawns" that had been high above their heads disappeared at the same time.

"Have I been teleported away?"

Ronan stood up; he was still standing in the Combat Arena. Looking around, all he could see was the desolate and silent Goblin Plain, the cold starlight overhead scattering serenity as if he was the only one left in this world.

Ronan attempted to walk forward for a bit.

"Swish—"

Upon touching an invisible wall, his entire body was teleported back to the original spot.

"It’s not just visual isolation..."

Ronan immediately understood.

Due to the effect of the Dawn Magic Tools, the entire Combat Arena had been divided into countless relatively independent spaces, but space to space was still visually perceivable.

Now that the silver Magic Cube had shattered, potentially triggering some rune restriction, these independent spaces were completely segregated, no longer visible by sight.

Ronan originally thought about using the silver-white Magic Cube in Damian’s possession to "release and rescue" the other trapped wizards, but now this idea fell through.

It was expected, though, such authority wouldn’t possibly lie in the hands of a mere Level 3 Wizard like Damian.

Fortunately, Ronan had his own way of escaping.

Thinking thus, he took something out of his Space Ring.

It was a palm-sized exquisitely made dagger resembling a dinner knife.

The material of the dagger was special, its surface smooth, shimmering with a mirror-like gloss flowing over it.

It was the Space Teleportation Mirror Dagger he had acquired from the Secret Mysterious Garden Realm quite some time ago.

The maximum teleportation distance of this dagger was five hundred meters, not very far.

But the entire Combat Arena wasn’t very large either; if Ronan’s guess was correct, this distance should be enough for him to accomplish many things.

"The might of the Three Magic Domains Fusion is strong enough to instantaneously kill a powerful Level 3 Wizard like Ignatius..."

The silver-white Mirror Dagger slowly revolved between his slender fingers, a slight contemplative light flashing in Ronan’s eyes, momentarily feeling regret.

"It’s a pity... I couldn’t direct it at Angelie."

However, it seems Angelie also possessed some kind of powerful Bloodline Power, which when activated allowed him to severely injure Intermediate Level Jupiter in one fell swoop.

Perhaps it was as he said.

There was still some gap between himself and Angelie now.

"Southern Wizard Genius Gathering... Heramus the Genius Chief..."

Ronan thought about the words Angelie had said to him when he was leaving, a trace of intrigue arising in his heart.

Thinking this, he gripped the Mirror Dagger in his hand, spiritual power surged in, runes activated, and he gently stabbed his own shoulder.

"Swish—"

Ronan’s figure instantly disappeared from the empty Combat Arena, leaving only the starlight scattered around, tranquility lingering...

....

In the isolated small space, two groups were facing each other in silence.

One group was clad in silver-white standard Magic Robes, embroidered with complex blue electrical patterns, clearly the Wizards of the Thunder Council. fɾeewebnoveℓ.co๓

The other group consisted of two mysterious figures entirely shrouded in Black Robes, their figures and features indiscernible.

The number of Wizards on the side of the Thunder Council was greater, yet they subtly seemed at a disadvantage.

Both figures in Black Robes emitted a powerful aura characteristic of Level 3 Wizards, with the Thunder Council relying solely on a long-haired middle-aged Wizard, also at Level 3, to barely hold their ground.

"Don’t worry, you won’t be in danger... for now,"

one of the Black Robed figures spoke in a deep and hoarse voice, calmly stating, "If the Dawn Chairman of your Thunder Council willingly hands over the World Stone, everyone here might have a chance to survive... Of course..."

The Black Robe’s gaze swept over the Wizards of the Thunder Council present, slowly opening their arms, "The Resurrection Society also welcomes your affiliation.

This is also our purpose for coming here."

"Only a madman would consort with vermin like you, willing slaves to the Dark who can only survive in the shadows!"

The middle-aged Wizard of the Thunder Council muttered under his breath, eyes coldly fixed on the two.

The latter simply shook their head, "You don’t understand us because you don’t really know the true Resurrection Society.

Usurping the old world is not our goal; pursuing the true essence and power... that’s what unites us.

What we do is just a unique way in our quest for the essence.

You don’t understand, so you disparage, using foolish words like light and dark to define us...

If the Tower of Resurrection stood at the pinnacle of Third Ring, would you then be the ones living in the shadows?"

The words of the Black Robe seemed to carry a strong persuasive power, causing slight wavering among some of the Wizards from the Thunder Council.

The lead middle-aged Wizard, sensing the subtle emotional shift in his fellow members, his expression changed rapidly, and he sharply interjected to cut off the other’s speech.

"Shut up!"

Just then, in the middle of the standoff in this isolated small space, the air rippled with odd ripples, signaling fluctuations of Spatial Energy.

Following this, a figure in a gray-black Magic Robe, tall and slender, gently stepped out from among the ripples.

A handsome and calm-faced young man, he immediately surveyed his surroundings with a cool demeanor.

Seeing the sudden appearance of someone, both the Thunder Council and the Resurrection Society’s Black Robed figures were momentarily stunned.

After a brief silence...

"Boom!"

One of the Black Robed figures suddenly lashed out, releasing a vast wave of Magic Energy, striking harshly towards the young man’s location.

However, the young Wizard had already casually placed a silver-white dagger on his shoulder before the attack was made, and his figure vanished once again.

The spell hit nothing but air, causing a violent surge of energy, which made the Wizards from the Thunder Council tighten their expressions and step back.

The two Black Robed figures abruptly appeared where the young man had just been, but they could no longer concern themselves with the Thunder Council.

"That’s the coordinate! I recognize his appearance!"

"Didn’t Damian and Ignatius go to deal with him?!"

"I don’t know why... he somehow escaped!"

"Quick, notify the others... If we get the World Stone but fail to secure the coordinate, we will all be punished!"

"Yes!"

The two Black Robed figures conversed hurriedly, then under the watchful, uncertain eyes of the Thunder Council Wizards, one of them hastily disappeared into the Void, as if following the young man, and vanished from sight.

Seeing that only one member of the Resurrection Society in Black Robe remained, the eyes of the middle-aged Wizard from the Thunder Council flickered.

Moments later, his lips moved rapidly, low chants of spells whispering out, as powerful fluctuations of spiritual power radiated from him.

The remaining Black Robe sensed the movement, turned indifferently, and spoke lowly, "It appears, you still deeply misunderstand us..."

"Boom!"

The fight erupted anew due to the unexpected intrusion of the young man.
