Chapter 191: His Greedy Mind Asked For More
Abigail’s heart felt warm when she saw the flash of anger burning in James’s eyes. She was so happy to know that, besides Sawyer, another man was ready to protect her from her evil father.
It was still hard for her to believe this man was her grandfather. Abigail recalled when she was still a child, she often dreamed about meeting an old man who turned out to be her grandfather.
Sometimes, when she stayed with Grandma Sophie, the thought of meeting her grandfather appeared. So, yeah, she longed to meet him. Even though their DNA test results had not yet come out, Abigail believed this man was her grandfather.
"Gr-Grandpa, thank you. But you don’t have to do anything to punish Adam Snow. I already changed my name and am no longer related to him—"
"Oh, Abigail, you can’t let Adam Snow, that evil man, live in peace. Allow this old man to take action against him for what he did in the past..." James’s voice was filled with lingering anger.
Shaking her head slowly, Abigail smiled at him and said, "Grandpa, I don’t want to be involved with him anymore. However, I won’t stop you if that man shows up and causes me trouble again. You can do whatever you want to him."
Upon hearing her response, James couldn’t help but chuckle. He was delighted to see that his granddaughter was beautiful and had a kind heart.

At Garden Hill.
After soaking warm water, Abigail left the bathroom wrapped only in a white towel. She rushed to the walk-in closet to find her pajamas.
However, her steps halted when she saw the bedroom door swing open, and Sawyer appeared, his gaze filled with surprise.
"Oh my God, you startled me, Sawyer," she smiled while holding her towel.
Sawyer didn’t respond. Instead, he stepped closer to her, not at a hurried pace.
Each step made Abigail’s heart race as she noticed his sultry gaze. She had seen this look every night when he wanted to touch her. And whenever she allowed him to do whatever he wanted, he would suppress his desire and endure the moment.
Abigail slowly shook her head, dismissing any thoughts of seducing him. She didn’t want to challenge him now; she was exhausted and needed to sleep.
"I thought you were still supervising the workers downstairs..." Abigail said, entering the walk-in closet.
After finding her pajamas, she glanced back at him and noticed that he was now standing by the door, his sultry gaze replaced by a calm demeanor.
"It seems you stayed in the bath for too long, Abby. It’s been almost an hour since we arrived."
Sawyer chuckled as he leaned against the door frame, his eyes fixed on the white towel wrapped around her body. Slowly, it slipped from her grasp and fell to the floor, exposing her snow-white skin.
He swallowed hard, trying to control the urge to rush to her. Despite his desires, he couldn’t help but admire her curvy back, and her seductive ass cheeks seemed to tempt him as if begging him to touch them.
’Damn it, man! Stop imagining that, or you’ll be in trouble!’ He cursed inwardly while suppressing his desires. But he failed. His greedy mind asked for more, "Abby, can you turn around? I want to—"
His voice hung in the air as he watched her turn, captivated by her beauty. Just seeing her front side was enough to make his blood rush. He felt tense, and the heat in his body began to rise.
Abigail’s seductive smile curled her lips. "You can touch if you want—"
He swallowed hard, captivated by her bold and inviting words. Despite his silence, his eyes remained locked on her alluring and tempting naked body.
After a few moments, he finally spoke, "Don’t try to ruin my plan, Abby..."
A soft chuckle escaped his lips as he shook his head, attempting to push away the sultry thoughts that filled his mind.
"You are not fun at all, Mr. Jones," Abigail laughed, approaching him after wearing her pajamas. She playfully cupped his cheek with her palm so he would look her in the eyes.
She already regretted telling him about the importance of sex after marriage, especially since he had never crossed that line. He never did, even though she had given him signals to do so.
Abigail decided not to tease him any further.
"Your team works so quickly. I thought they wouldn’t finish until tomorrow morning," Abigail said, surprised by how fast his crew had renovated their future home.
"Hmm, they work faster than expected. We need to move in tomorrow, so today, they’re just doing a thorough cleanup," he explained.
"I see. But we can only move in a week after we return from our honeymoon, right?" She was excited about their honeymoon plans and was filled with thoughts about their married life.
"Abby," Sawyer’s voice sounded heavy, leaving Abigail confused by his reaction. She tried to meet his eyes, but he avoided her gaze, focusing instead on their entangled hands.
She sensed something was troubling him and gripped his hand tightly.
"Sawyer, please don’t scare me, okay? Why are you avoiding my eyes? Are you hiding something?"
When Abigail saw disappointment flash through his blue eyes, she felt her heart tighten.
"What is it, Sawyer?" she asked again.
Instead of answering, he led her to the bedroom sofa. After they settled onto the two-seater couch, his warm and loving smile gradually returned, though his gaze still bore worry.
"I’m sorry, Abby. We cannot go on our honeymoon as planned," he said, his heavy tone surprising her. She knew how much he had looked forward to that moment, so it was no wonder he appeared annoyed and disappointed.
"Why cancel? Does that mean we’re also canceling our wedding tomorrow?" she asked, trying to sound calm. However, her disappointed tone left her mind racing.
Sawyer shook his head and gently lifted his hand to rub her cheek, noting how cold her skin was. He smiled, knowing she was upset.
"Abby, my little wife, do you worry that we won’t register our marriage tomorrow?"
