Beastmen Love-Chapter 122: Negotiating a Soul

Ana looks at Dieg and is impressed.

"You look so much like a brother of mine who died." Ana says to Dieg.

"Your parents said the same." Dieg answers.

He looks at Khan, feeling he has an evil aura.

"Who’s this, Ana?" Shung asks, referring to Khan.

"This is Khan. My new male. I found him at the probation area. He’s a lion with twenty marks." Ana says proudly.

"A lion with twenty marks.. That’s impressive." Cyprian says, aware of Khan.

"You must have gone through the worst things for growing as many marks." Wayde says to Khan.

"Yes. The worst. Now I think I found a place to settle with my new female." Khan answers.

Khan hears a giggle.

"Settle? You’re fun." They hear.

Astri comes walking from the corridor with Claud. She was waiting to hear something but that was enough for her. Khan gets impressed when he sees her there. Then he looks at Claud and senses he’s strong too.

"You.."

"Do you know her?" Ana asks him with jealousy.

"She accepted me. I’m here because of her." Khan says to Astri.

"She knows what you are, sweetheart?" Astri asks.

"He’s a lion. And stay away from MY male! Can’t you handle someone else having a strong male that you want to steal?" Ana barks at Astri.

"I don’t want him. I turned him down already. I don’t think you will want him too." Astri answers.

"Your lost."

"Ana, a lion having twenty marks is weird." One of her spouses says.

"He might be a feral." Shung says.

"Are you a feral?" Ana asks Khan.

"No. I’m not." Khan answers.

"See? You’re all just envious."

Astri sighs and looks at her spouses, who also sighed frustrated.

"Where are you from?" Shung asks Khan.

"From the South." Khan answers.

Astri starts to walk to the kitchen table, takes the jar of water and her silence is noisy to Khan.

"She accepted me. You know her mind is dark as the night. You can’t remove me from here if she attracted my presence here." Khan speaks.

"You’re not wrong. But not entirely right." Astri says.

"Who are you talking about?" Ana asks.

"Who is him, Astri?" Shung asks Astri directly.

She takes a sip of water pondering things. Khan chuckled, knowing that Astri wouldn’t tell the truth even if she wanted.

"With all my spouses here, why do you think he asked me, smart ass?" Astri asks Khan, after seeing his grin.

He loses his grin and stares at her with an angry face, and now it’s her turn to laugh.

"You laugh but you know there’s nothing you can do." Khan says.

"WHAT IS GOING ON?!" Ana demands answers.

Astri sighs again and looks at Ana, then looks at Ana’s spouses.

"Do you guys agree with her? Should she accept him as her spouse?" Astri asks them.

They look at each other, then look at Astri again and deny with their heads.

"It’s not their choice! I am the female here and I choose whoever I want." Ana says. "And you need to not get between us! Are you trying to steal my spouses, disgusting bird?!" She barks at Astri.

"If she wanted, she could have taken us when she defeated you when you challenged her." One of Ana’s spouses answers, annoyed.

"SHUT UP."

Astri rolls her eyes and looks at Shung and Fraz.

"He’s a monster. The Prince of Monsters." Astri bluntly says.

Who didn’t know about that is now shocked. Even Ana is taken by surprise, but she chuckles.

"What? You must be crazy. You can’t have him and now you’re telling lies!" Ana says.

"I don’t lie." Astri answers.

"He showed me his lion mark! He can’t lie about that!"

"Then ask him to shift."

Astri knows Khan is not a lion. He’s a different kind of Monster, he’s like a chameleon, but he doesn’t shift to an animal creature.

Khan glares at Astri, as she was challenging him.

"You might be capable of defeating me. But you can’t interfere with this."

"I can and I will."

"Then I’ll fight you and destroy everything here, exposing you to everyone. I’m sure not everyone here knows about you."

"WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?" Ana screams, then Khan hits her face and grabs her neck.

"Shut up, annoying female. Your voice is hurting my head!" Khan angrily says to her and then throws her away.

Ana crawls away from him, now scared after what he did. Her spouses jump to protect her.

"You bastard! I’ll tell every female to not accept you!" Ana says angrily at Khan, after she felt she was being protected by her spouses.

"Get away! It’s my right! She accepted me and brought me here!" Khan says to Astri with a demanding voice.

"This is my territory. I don’t care if she accepted you. If you try to disturb my territory, I’ll have to kill you." Astri seriously says.

"Then I’ll bring her with me. She will breed me some litters until she dies."

"What...?" Ana asks, in shock.

"Do you believe me now, Ana? He won’t be tied to you as a mate. He’s a Monster who only wants you as his breeder." Astri says.

"Her evil heart brought me here. It’s my right to be here. You wanting or not!" Khan says to Astri.

"What is he saying, Astri?" Fraz asks.

"Ana fed her heart with evil plans and doings for a long time. Khan is attracted to evil auras, then consumes them. She attracted him inside, because she wanted my place. That’s why he’s saying that he has the right to be here." Astri explains.

Everyone looks at Ana. The normal feeling would be anger, but they pitied her. Astri’s eyes start to shine, and take everyone who didn’t know she could do that by surprise.

Her mind quickly travels to meet Kangki. She finds him on his bed.

"I need your help." She tells him.

"It’s been a long time since you came after me. Normally I go after you. And you need my favor?"

"Come get rid of someone for me. Please. Now."

Then she goes back to her body, then crosses her arms and waits.

"What were you doing?" Khan asks.

Then Kangki appears next to Astri and shocks everyone. Shung recognizes him and quickly pulls Fraz behind himself. Dieg didn’t know Kangki, so he also was ready to attack him and jump to take Astri.

"Calm down, everyone. I called him here." She says.

"What is happening here? Why are you here, Khan? I told you to stay away from her." Kangki says with a murderous voice.

"I didn’t know she owned this place. I came here attracted by that female’s evil heart. I have the right to be here. She accepted me as her male and that was enough to seal her destiny. She will be my new breeder." Khan speaks.

Kangki looks at Ana, who’s now trembling behind her spouses, and analyzes her heart for a second, then looks at Astri.

"He’s right. Her heart is evil." Kangki says.

"I know." Astri nods.

"Is it her that you want me to get rid of? Let Khan take her and she will be done for."

"No. I want you to take your son away. I didn’t kill him because he’s your son, but if he dares to walk into my territory again, I will make him become the purest energy."

"Fine! I’ll leave, but she comes with me." Khan says and points at Ana.

"NO! I don’t want you anymore. Leave me alone." Ana cries.

"Too late, darling." Khan starts to walk in her direction.

Astri pulls him back to her and Kangki with her powers.

"Not in my territory." Astri says.

"She’s mine!"

"Are you deaf? My territory, my rules. If she’s here, she’s under my protection."

Khan sighs angrily.

"Why do you protect her? Her mind is full of hate towards you. She already thought of many ways of killing you. Why do you want someone like her in your territory?" Kangki asks Astri.

Astri looks at Ana, who was crying and also shocked with everything turning against her.

"I don’t care if she hates me." She looks again at Khan. "Would you let me go into your territory and purify a soul in there?"

He doesn’t answer, but his silence was enough to show that he wouldn’t like it to happen.

"If she’s out of my territory she’s all yours. I know she’s the only one to be blamed for her destiny, but you can’t deny that you were curious to know who owned this place and wanted to conquer it. You used her to try to take down who was here and you just had the bad luck this is my territory. Everyone inside here is under my protection." Astri says.

Khan clicks his tongue and starts to walk again in Ana’s direction. Ana hides behind her spouses, who also are ready to fight and protect her.
