Chapter 783 -260: Humanity’s First Ally (Two in One, Request for Monthly Pass)_2

But all the immortals he had seen before were incredibly large in size, so when he saw one of this shape for the first time, he couldn’t help but feel astounded.

Seeing the expressions of the crowd, the woman guessed what they were thinking and calmly spoke, “I grasp the Cloud Mist Rule, capable of myriad transformations. Shapeshifting into a human form is simply for the convenience of moving in the human world.”

So that was it.

The crowd suddenly understood.

It was then that President Adams snapped back to reality, quickly casting an inquisitive gaze towards Lin Su at his side.

The king of the Water Kingdom had just mentioned that even a divisible part could make a rule oath.

Adams had no understanding of this claim.

On the human side, the one who most understood the rule oath should be Lin Su.

Feeling President Adams’s gaze, Lin Su turned his head to meet his eyes, then slightly nodded in affirmation.

A rule oath is a vow made to the rules.

It doesn’t bind the original body or the division, but the rule itself.

If the master of the rule breaks the oath, they would suffer the backlash of the rule.

And the rules of each immortal are different.

They might be similar, but just like human fingerprints, they are never exactly the same.

Thus, unless the king of the Water Kingdom gives up his current rule and masters a new one, an oath made by a division has the same binding force on the original body.

Seeing Lin Su nod, President Adams breathed a sigh of relief, a respectful smile on his face as he looked at the woman, “How may we address you?”

“My name is Yun Xi.”

“Honored Yun, this place is not suitable for discussion; may we go together to the central council hall in the Two-Fanged District?” Adams smiled.

“Agreed.”

Soon, both parties left the dueling arena and arrived at the central council hall.

This time, the negotiation was carried out between the Holy Alliance and the Water Kingdom.

And since Lin Su from Yan Huang was the one who put forward the suggestion, the Holy Alliance did not avoid including the Yan Huang group, inviting them to join in the meeting.

Quickly, within the vast interior of the council hall, the representatives, headed by the Nightmare Sea Dragon King, and the higher-ups of the Holy Alliance began to discuss and negotiate a series of issues such as trade and mutual defense following the alliance.

The other attendees listened quietly.

Nan Yue Ran took out a communicator, his expression serious as he took notes.

The discussions between the Holy Alliance and the Water Kingdom were very informative for him; naturally, he paid close attention. Jin Xiaoxiao, acting as his secretary, was also helping to take notes.

Lin Su and Qin Nan, however, did not understand these matters very well and quietly started chatting.

“Have you noticed anything amiss?” Qin Nan nudged Lin Su with his elbow, lowering his voice, “That Swallowing Cloud Whale you defeated has been glancing over at you many times on the way here.”

“Ah?” Lin Su blinked, turning unconsciously to look at Yun Shu who was seated in the Water Kingdom’s area, scratching his head, “Maybe it’s because both Qiuqiu and the Nightmare fought with it?”

The Nightmare had fought to a draw, and Qiuqiu had outright suppressed it.

It had been staring at him all this time, probably feeling unsatisfied and eager for another battle.

“That makes sense; it should be that,” Qin Nan agreed with a nod, then with a hint of anticipation said, “Do you think, after the alliance with the Water Kingdom, they might lift the Alien Beast Ban?”

“I don’t know.” Lin Su’s face showed some hope, “If it could be lifted, that would indeed be excellent.”

Though oceanic alien beasts have limitations fighting on land and might not be able to exert their full strength, they are still high-ranked species, born with a higher starting point.

But whether the Alien Beast Ban could be lifted depended on two issues.

One aspect was whether the honorable Yun was willing to lift the ban.

The other was whether she had the capability.

Humanity actually knew very little about the essence of the Alien Beast Ban.

Through referencing the history of the Warrior World, Lin Su concluded that the ban could be lifted.

But how to lift it was the question.

After all, the ones who had enacted the Alien Beast Ban were the three immortals from the land, not the honorable Yun.

“Lifting the Alien Beast Ban must be at the heart of the negotiations for an alliance between humanity and alien beasts,” remarked Nan Yue Ran, who had been taking notes, speaking softly, “The discussions now are just the appetizers.”

The group quietly speculated, while within the council hall, the two sides had finished discussing the basic content of their cooperation after more than an hour.

On the Holy Alliance’s side, President Adams’s expression turned extremely serious.

“To our friends from the Water Kingdom…” he began softly, “Decades ago, three immortals from the three Immortal Countries together constructed the Alien Beast Ban, using it to suppress our human side.”

“We wonder, after forming an alliance with the Holy Alliance, in regards to the Alien Beast Ban… could there be some concessions made?”

The representative Nightmare Sea Dragon King blinked and swiftly ceded the floor to Yun Xi at his side.

This matter was not something it could comment on.

“Regarding the Alien Beast Ban…” Yun Xi spoke calmly, a hint of disdain flashing in her eyes.

Upon these words, everyone was stunned.

“Honored Yun, what misunderstanding do you refer to?” Adams couldn’t help but ask.

“The Alien Beast Ban was not constructed by them. They did not have the power to do so,” Yun Xi asserted, her tone calm, her eyes flashing with contempt.

As the statement was made, shock was evident on everyone’s faces.

Clearly, this was information none of them had known before.

But coming from an immortal of the same era as the likes of the Nightmare, it carried significant credibility.
