Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming!
Chapter 1094: The Child Is Born
Ariel Morris’s fingers were somewhat stiff, her voice calm and unruffled, "Benny Saxton, if you have time, go visit your proud little daughter in prison. I’m doing well and don’t need this bit of fatherly love you’re trying to offer. The Seys Family treats me very well, my father-in-law’s care and love for me surpass what I’ve ever received from you as my biological father. I’m very happy and content now, and your late regret and affection mean nothing to me. I can’t forgive what you’ve done in the past."
"Ariel..." Benny Saxton’s voice was a bit hoarse, "I know I was excessive in the past. Can’t you find it in your heart, considering my age and the fact that I’m still alive, to call me Dad just once?"
Ariel Morris’s mouth curled into a sardonic smile, "Did you consider my grandfather back then? My grandfather entrusted my mom to you, and what did you give the Morris Family? You cheated with Kylie Morris, causing my mom to succumb to her sorrows. Damien Morris caused my grandfather’s death. Did you, as his son-in-law, ever seek justice for my grandfather? My brother was beaten black and blue by Kylie Morris when he was just a child. Did you ever stand up for him? He was so young, did your heart ever soften even a little? If it weren’t for Aunt Olivia Summer sending him abroad, my brother would have been beaten to death by Kylie Morris!"
Ariel continued, her voice turning increasingly colder, "Do you think a mere apology can make up for everything? If I weren’t happy now, I wouldn’t acknowledge you. And now that I’m this happy, why should I turn back and acknowledge you? Your belated family affection is something I don’t cherish at all!"
The baby in her arms, Iris Seys, suddenly began to cry. Ariel comforted Iris while calling out, "Aunt Forest, see the guest out! Escort Mr. Saxton out!"
"Ariel, I just wanted to see you and the baby..." Benny Saxton stood up, at a loss.
"Show him out!" Ariel said coldly, comforting Iris.
Aunt Forest extended her hand, "This way, Mr. Saxton, please."
Benny Saxton looked at the untouched Ariel Morris, sighed heavily, and turned to leave, feeling helpless and despondent.
After Benny Saxton left, Ariel finally managed to soothe Iris, allowing the Little Princess to fall into a deep sleep, when she received a call from Dawn Sutherland.
After hanging up, Ariel instructed Aunt Forest to take good care of the two little ones and drove straight to the hospital. 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶
Outside the delivery room, Dawn was waiting anxiously. As soon as he saw Ariel arrive, he rushed over, his voice flustered and at a loss, "Ariel, you’re finally here. What do we do, Ariel, I’m so nervous and scared right now."
Inside the delivery room, Daisy Grant’s cries of pain could still be heard, trembling. Outside, Dawn’s body grew even more tense and rigid, his hands and feet trembling.
Ariel looked at the delivery room and comforted him, "It’s alright, Brother Dawn, it will be over soon, don’t worry."
"Ariel, Daisy is crying out so loudly, could something be wrong? How did you feel at that time? I’m on the verge of breaking down! I wish I could take her pain!"
Ariel helplessly pouted, "I had a cesarean section while unconscious, unlike Daisy’s natural delivery. Let’s wait; we should trust Daisy, after all, she’s such a strong person."
Ariel consoled Dawn, and the two stood tensely pacing back and forth in front of the delivery room, incredibly worried.
As time ticked by, Daisy Grant’s cries ceased. Dawn’s heart skipped a beat, and he anxiously moved forward to inquire when the delivery room door suddenly opened.
A nurse came out holding a small note, beads of sweat on her forehead, and smiled at the approaching Dawn, "Congratulations, Mr. Sutherland, it’s a boy, weighing six pounds eight ounces."
The nurse handed the note to Dawn and closed the delivery room door, but Dawn stopped her, his voice trembling, "What about my wife?"
