Lord of All Gods
Chapter 2516
Ye Liuyun then withdrew everyone back into his spatial world. After his clone finished collecting the primordial energy, he recalled Ye Ling and released the two alien beings, instructing them to operate the teleportation array.
The clone temporarily returned to the spatial world to refine the primordial energy, while Ye Liuyun shapeshifted into the form of an alien being. Guided by the two captives, he headed toward the next alien stronghold.
Once the primordial energy of the Wumo Realm was extracted, the entire world would gradually collapse. Some fragments would vanish entirely, while others—containing divine crystal veins—would slowly evolve into islands. Over countless years, these islands would eventually give rise to various life forms. 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎
If not completely destroyed, these remnants risked being reclaimed by the alien forces.
As Ye Liuyun continued dismantling alien outposts, his efficiency grew. First, he would scout the situation, then swiftly seize the altar, unleashing his army of millions to round up and eliminate the alien forces, including their breeding grounds.
After wiping out seven or eight strongholds in succession, his troops not only gained combat experience but also saw rapid improvements in strength. Tens of millions of alien and corpse demon cores became invaluable cultivation resources for his soldiers.
Moreover, they plundered vast amounts of supplies, fueling the entire army’s rapid advancement. Even the alien elites following Ye Liuyun grew stronger at an astonishing pace, and their ranks swelled to three hundred. Whenever he encountered formidable foes, he would capture them.
With the Vermilion Bird by his side, subduing these powerful aliens became effortless.
However, after losing several outposts, the alien forces took countermeasures, distributing artifacts to defend against soul attacks—especially to their strongest warriors, preventing them from being controlled.
As a result, Ye Liuyun found it increasingly difficult to capture more aliens.
But he wasn’t overly concerned. If he couldn’t take them alive, he simply eliminated them—an excellent opportunity to sharpen the skills of his elite vanguard unit.
He even deployed his two thousand armored soldiers in battle multiple times. Their combat prowess was terrifying; enhanced by their exosuits, each could hold their own against third-tier Heavenly Realm aliens. With near-impenetrable defenses, they dominated the battlefield, cutting through enemy lines with unstoppable force.
However, Ye Liuyun only allowed them to try it occasionally before discontinuing its use. Normally, he had them spar with the Vanguard Corps to prevent the alien races from discovering their tactics and devising countermeasures in advance.
In subsequent battles, whenever resources were obtained, Ye Liuyun prioritized supporting the Vanguard Corps. Various armies also began focusing on training a group of exceptionally powerful martial cultivators.
As for the alien elites, apart from a few individuals who were particularly useful to Ye Liuyun—whom he would protect—the rest were left to fight among themselves until only the strongest remained.
Strangely enough, these alien warriors only grew stronger through combat. Eventually, their numbers stabilized at just over two hundred, with very few casualties thereafter.
"Ah, no wonder the alien races are so hard to eradicate. Their ability to grow stronger is just too fast. Once they start devouring their own kind, their power skyrockets in no time," Ye Liuyun mused with a sigh.
Even though the Vanguard Corps was his top priority, their progress paled in comparison to the aliens. The gap in strength widened quickly.
After dismantling several more alien strongholds, Ye Liuyun and his forces arrived at a new site via a teleportation altar—only to be stunned by what they found.
The environment here was largely untouched. Extending his divine sense, he discovered that the flora, fauna, and even the wild beasts remained undisturbed.
Instead of launching an immediate attack, Ye Liuyun took a more cautious approach. He had some of the alien elites under his command wound the guardian of this outpost, removed its soul-defense artifact, and performed a soul search.
Only then did he learn that this world had never been inhabited by humans or demons—only by weak, insignificant beasts that posed no threat.
After occupying the area, the aliens had chosen not to destroy it entirely. Instead, they stationed a small garrison to secure it, intending to cultivate the world’s primordial energy as a reserve power source.
Now, unexpectedly, this place had fallen into Ye Liuyun’s hands. Since the aliens had already discovered it, he couldn’t afford to leave it in their possession. He had to claim it for himself.
But just as Ye Liuyun took control of the guardian alien, two three-eyed aliens teleported in through the altar—one of them clad in silver armor.
"A silver-armored three-eye! This means their hybridization experiments between gold-armored, silver-armored, and three-eyed aliens have succeeded!"
Ye Liuyun reasoned that if a silver-armored warrior could succeed, there must certainly be cases where golden-armored warriors had triumphed as well.
If things continued this way, the situation would become increasingly perilous. Without hesitation, Ye Liuyun commanded the alien warrior he had just subdued to attack them. Yet, to his surprise, the silver-armored alien unleashed beams of black and white light simultaneously, obliterating the controlled warrior in an instant.
Seizing the opportunity, Ye Liuyun’s doppelgänger launched a sneak attack, also employing the combined force of black and white beams to finally eliminate the silver-armored foe.
As for the other three-eyed alien, Ye Liuyun engaged it head-on with white light, suppressing it with the Demon-Sealing Stele until its energy was completely drained.
In the end, Ye Liuyun claimed the eyes of both three-eyed aliens for himself, handing them over to his doppelgänger to refine and enhance the power of his golden pupils.
With the immediate threat neutralized, Ye Liuyun ordered the remaining aliens to seal the teleportation portal of the altar, cutting off any further reinforcements.
After eradicating the alien presence on the planet, he instructed Ye Ling to establish a connection with the world’s core energy, preparing to absorb the entire celestial body into his spatial realm.
Having already assimilated the core energies of several previously conquered strongholds, Ye Liuyun and his doppelgänger now possessed an abundant reserve of primal force, making it feasible to merge with this planet’s essence.
However, his spatial realm was far smaller than the planet itself. Attempting to integrate such a massive celestial body was nothing short of an audacious gamble.
To pull this off, Ye Liuyun needed meticulous preparation—expanding the cosmic expanse within his spatial world to accommodate the planet’s sheer scale.
His armies and civilians within the spatial realm also had to be evacuated beforehand. The unpredictable effects of assimilating such a colossal planet left him wary of potential collateral damage.
Fortunately, their recent spoils of war included numerous colossal battleships, providing ample means of relocation.
Months of painstaking preparation finally brought Ye Liuyun to the brink of readiness.
As a precaution, he first transferred the alien altar into his doppelgänger’s spatial realm to prevent its destruction—losing it would complicate future expeditions to other alien outposts.
This marked Ye Liuyun’s first attempt at relocating a planet of this magnitude. Though his prior experience with moving massive islands tempered his nerves, the uncertainty of how his spatial realm would ultimately reshape left him uneasy.
When the absorption process finally commenced, the planet remained eerily still—only after half a day did faint tremors begin to ripple across its surface.
The tremors intensified steadily, stretching far longer than any previous island relocation. Days passed before the planet finally stirred, inching slowly toward Ye Liuyun.
