Lore is shared piecemeal, usually only as it relates to a particular arc or character beat.— A heavy focus on mystery, both with the setting and the protagonist. The main character’s backstory isn’t shared up front, and a lot of the narrative involves learning about him a bit at a time, either from his own narration or other characters interacting with him.— A semi-soft magic system where many mages manifest unique powers tied to their own soul, or gain unique powers through eldritch pacts.— Romantic elements. These don’t crop up much until later in the story.— A variety of supernatural beings, such as elves, vampires, gargoyles, chimera, and trolls. Many are familiar, some are not, and most of the familiar ones have my own twists put on them.—Nobledark fantasy. This means that the world is often themed around tragedy and horror, but it’s not dedicated to being gritty. There are elements of high fantasy intermixed with the scarier stuff.—Episodic arcs. Each story arc usually has a specific locale and antagonist or set of antagonists, but certain overarching plots tie them together.— A long running narrative. I don’t have a specific projection of how long or how many arcs or books, but you should expect this to be equivalent to a long running serialized work.This is my first web serial! The protagonist, a renowned gamer/YouTuber aka [TorchDancer] is a master of the game “Tril Trilo Trilogy.” When offered a chance to playtest the prequel, “Part 0,” he jumps at the opportunity. But a twist of fate plunges him into the game itself, transforming him into the series’ ultimate villain, Frank Wonderstein. Trapped in a monstrous body, he must navigate a dangerous world, unraveling the secrets of the game and his own destiny. Can a hero become a villain? Or can a villain find redemption? Nie Zihang and Yu Jingxuan’s first encounter took place in the police station late at night. Because his omega lover had cheated on him with an alpha, he had tossed a sphere of concentrated pheromone extract into a packed hot pot restaurant. He had to tell his lover that all alphas were wild animals that couldn’t tell friend from foe when they sense pheromones.

The story concluded with him being questioned by a police officer who, despite his gentle voice and dainty features, turned out to be an alpha as well.

“Mr. Nie, as a lawyer, don’t you think it’s bad to deliberately break the law?” The alpha asked him.

Nie Zihang casually tossed a video recording of the incident while smiling. “In accordance with the ABO Protection Act, my actions were lawful as self-defense. Officer Yu, you should not show unprincipled favoritism to wrongdoers simply because he’s an alpha, okay?”

The alpha courteously released him.

He assumed the issue was over until the next day, when a familiar face arrived at the law firm. A casually dressed Yu Jingxuan entered his office and mused, “Mr. Nie has a strong animosity against alphas. Would you mind if I asked you for help suing an ex-boyfriend? I want his reputation to go down.”

Nie Zihang arched his brow. “Oh? More information would be appreciated.”

Only then did he learn that Yu Jingxuan was also engaged in AA relationships. His ex-boyfriend had also cheated on him with an omega.

Since AO is the right path, why don’t we give it a try?
