Rise of the Living Forge - Chapter 12: Flinging swords

Jiang Yun died in his original world, and his spirit traveled to a cultivation world as the Holy Son of the Sacred Land of Mist. However, his new body was severely injured from being attacked by demonic cultivators and having his Sacred Bones stolen.As he was in despair, a voice from a System, known as the Villain System, sounded. Initially, he was shocked because of his experiences, which seemed like the destiny of a protagonist. However, when he discovered that his junior disciple was the true Son of Destiny and had stolen his Sacred Bones, hiding them, and was a spy for the Demonic Sect, Jiang Yun realized he was being framed. The junior disciple created false accusations against him, causing other disciples to dislike and reject him, including senior and junior disciples who shared the same master.Without hesitation, Jiang Yun decided to become the Villain. He planned for survival, gathered resources, amassed forces, and acquired subordinates. Eventually, his master decided to remove him from his position as Holy Son. He then chose to leave the Sacred Land. When he encountered an Emperor Spirit, he learned that the world was about to undergo a dramatic change in the near future. Thus, he established a Sacred Land for those who were despised and abandoned by heaven, or for those who shared his ideals.

I found myself in a parallel universe, awakening as a male priest. Everything seemed perfect; after all, as a healer, specializing in aiding women should pose no issue, right? However, I couldn’t help but wonder about some peculiar spells in my repertoire.

Firstly, what in the world is the “Instantaneous Outbreak of Acute Gastroenteritis” spell? And don’t even get me started on the “Osteoporosis” spell. What purpose could these serve in my healing endeavors? The confusion only deepened with spells like “Blood Burn,” “Gradual Freeze,” and “Mental Chaos.” Can I still peacefully focus on healing women with such ominous abilities?

Comparing my spells to those of other professions, I couldn’t help but notice the stark contrast. Mages wield “Doomstorm” and “Ice Age,” swordsmen boast “Sword Rain: Homecoming” and “Wind-Cutter Slash,” while archers showcase “Arrow Rain: Shooting Stars” and “Storm Arrow.” Yet, my ultimate spells are disturbingly named “Cancer Cell Proliferation,” “T-Virus Infection,” and “Rabies Outbreak.”

In the midst of it all, a certain character, some crying girl, laments, “Noooo, I just took a bath, who would have thought that I would become infected!”

Meanwhile, a villain chillingly asks, “Do any of you know what it feels like to burst apart while spouting blood? No! You don’t know!”

Even a boss character confesses, “Dear family, who can understand? I just took a nap, and when I woke up, I suddenly found that I have no kidneys!”

On a harsh rainy day, a high school student without any particular special skills, Usato Ken, got dragged into another world summoning with two others; a good-looking guy and a beautiful girl, both of whom he strangely started getting along with just today. As an especially talentless individual that didn’t stand out, he thought that the others would treat him like he was useless. However, they were unexpectedly kind.———“Maybe things will be fine?”Usato who found hope in another world thought that, but the reality was different. He had a certain magic talent hidden within him and he was forced to fall into hell under the name of “training”.

A young man with an extraordinary mind is off on an exciting adventure when he mysteriously wakes up in the body of a feeble slave-guy in a different, rich in quirks world.

The main character, a selfish jerk, would use extreme means to achieve his goals. However, he never allows his base instincts to overrule his sense of decency. He always pays back both good and bad deeds.

Will his (terrible/excellent) mentality help him make a fresh start? Will he get through misfortunes and hardships of the new world?
