On Shangyuan’s Lantern Festival , a banquet was held in the Imperial Garden. Officially, it was in the honor of the monarch and his officials, but in fact, it was to select a princess consort for His Highness the prince Dingbei.

At the banquet, Ying Ying, the daughter of Marquis Chengen, bowed down and offered a song, Clouds Over the Rivers Xiao Xiang. At the end, she softly said : “The official’s daughter has no talent ; I’ve made a display of my poor skills”

A man dressed black brocade who sat at the center coldly interrupted her “Since you know you have no talent, then don’t show yourself.”

Everyone turned silent, with no one who dared to refute. The young miss of the Ming family who was sitting at the last seat of the table took a glance from afar, only to feel that His Royal Highness King Dingbei was rude and arrogant to the extreme, really not a kind person.

Later, the bridal chamber was full of candles, the wine was exchanged, and the red candles were shining.

The young miss of the Ming family shivered when helping him undress.

The man suddenly talked, asking her to play the tune Wild Geese Come to the Sand Dune.

She pretended to be courteous and happy, but she was so nervous that she forgot to refuse, so she only tried : “Since I am not talented, then… why… why show myself?”

She raised her eyes to glance at him, but saw a pair of eyes that seemed to refrain from smiling, “You are not untalented, this prince actually thinks, my wife is very beautiful.”

Bai Yao runs a seafood restaurant in a seaside town. One day, he saw a small sentient sea otter being bullied.

Out of pity, he helped out the little sea otter.

The sea otter acts quite defensively, baring his teeth, all while still covered in wounds yet to heal.

His way of saying thanks, is gifting Bai Yao an oyster in his pocket that’s been sitting there for who-knows-how-long.

Bai Yao ends up bringing the wounded and exhausted little sea otter back to his restaurant, giving him food and a shower.

Though the sea otter is still quite scaredy and defensive. He wouldn’t let Bai Yao rub his cute little face, or even ruffle his fur.

That’s not all the quirks of the little sea otter either. Bai Yao realised he’s a dummy that didn’t even know how to anthropomorphise.

Later that day, Bai Yao wakes up in the middle of the night, when there is something soft he’s holding in his hand.

He looks, and sees the little sea otter has put his paw in his hand. The sleepyhead is also snuggling on him, his head brushing against his chest.

Not feeling drowsy enough to sleep anymore, Bai Yao just props his head on his arm, watching until the otter finally wakes up.

When he finally does, he looks around, and sees that it’s Bai Yao; he squeaks, and then nestles his face against the fingers of Bai Yao.

Amused, Bai Yao asks, “oh? I thought you were a tough little guy that didn’t like petting?”

After Mykel Alester returned from the world of his novel he destroyed, he returned to his real world with questions in his head. He thought that he would have a normal life again after he moved on even though he was an Omnipotent God in his novel world, but to his surprise, all the characters in his novel followed him to his real world.

Knowing it was possible and how his world became similar to his novel's because of them, he decided to take back his Omnipotent powers. Little did he know that it awoke the creator of his world, the being that ruled over the universe who had been observing silently. Not only that, the Gods of the mythologies and powerful characters from his novel that were his followers had turned against him and changed sides.

To his surprise, he lost the war and became powerless because he realized that he was no match for the being who created the universe.

“The Lord has given his words,” An angel said as he slowly looked down at Mykel. “By the Lord's grace, you're given a chance to repent for you who have brought chaos to Earth,” he continued and stared Mykel in the eye.

Mykel scoffed and asked with a trembling voice, “Repent? It wasn't me who brought the chaos in the first place.”

“You're welcome to stay here for eternity,” The Angel said with a smirk and kept staring Mykel in the eye. “The Lord showed you mercy, not only you, but those who don't belong to this world that the Lord created,” he continued and looked at Jeanne and the others.

“Mercy?” Mykel asked with his eyebrows raised. “Of course, I'll accept the offer,” Mykel said with a bit of a smirk on his face.

“He lied,” The angel said.

“We know, and the Lord knows as well,” Another angel replied. “But whatever he's going to do down there, he will face the consequences of his actions. It's not our job to judge, we only follow orders,” he continued.

With all the knowledge that he had and the “Game” that he created in his novel, he decided to climb up with his companions of the characters in his novel. His only purpose was one, and that was to destroy the world and prepare to challenge his creator.
